An open-air museum. It is a part of the defensive structure of Prague. Probably nothing has changed there since the Middle Ages: so you get into the Gothic spirit!
And, from almost all sides, a magnificent view of the city opens!
Visegrad is an amazing place! It feels like it even has its own local microclimate.Surprisingly, there are always very few tourists. From the wall of the Visegrad fortress there is a beautiful view of the Vltava River. The best representatives of Czech bohemia -Antonin Dvorak, Bedrzyh Smetana, Karel Chapek, Bozhena Nemtsova, Alphonse Mucha - found their last resting place at the Visegrad cemetery.Every hour the bells on the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, playing Dvorak melodies! In the casemates of the fortress, in the Gorlice hall, six original statues from the Charles Bridge are kept. And all this can be viewed. There is such peace there that you hardly leave it every time.
One of the oldest historical monuments in Prague, located on a hill and dating back to the 10th century. Many different attractions are located within its walls.
It's a very beautiful place. Being in Prague, it is definitely worth visiting here
A very beautiful place in Prague. The fortress stands on a high hill above the Vltava River. It has a very beautiful view of the rest of the city. Construction began in the 10th century. Even the subway eats here. You can drive comfortably. I recommend.
I really liked the place. It's so cozy, quiet, and green. I stared at the beautiful sculptures. I didn't think I'd visit Karel Chapek's grave! I now feel it my duty to read his works)
Beautiful area, lots of street musicians, restaurants. However, there are sooooo narrow streets where you can't get through. I advise you to take a walk along the main street.
A fabulous place where you can spend the whole day. Gorgeous views of Prague, the Vltava River, the majestic Peter and Paul Church, the Visegrad Cemetery - a memorial work of art, a park! I recommend it to everyone, it's better to do it on your own, rather than on a guided tour.
A quiet and cozy place, a beautiful cathedral and a cemetery. The views from the walls of Visegrad are amazing. It makes sense to both walk around its perimeter and see everything on the territory.
Prague is beautiful always and everywhere. I was there 10 years ago and this year, nothing has changed. If there is an opportunity to get to the Czech Republic, go, You will not regret it.
