It was exciting. The climb is not very difficult...as it seems to me now)) With minimal physicalOf course, it won't be difficult to get up. Although there are steep climbs in places, there are few of them, and mostly the road runs at a slight angle. It was fun and interesting to walk in the company. It's an amazing experience :). The views there are fantastic...although Indonesia, to me, is fantastic) They beat Bromo, Ijen and Batur - everywhere there are different landscapes, different flora, everything is very incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend going up there, it will be an unusual memory)

It was difficult. We lived in the west of Bali. We stopped here on purpose to get closer to the ferry. But I couldn't sleep. We arrived at the foot of the mountain at 2 a.m. and immediately went. It was raining. It was hard. It's good that you took the sticks with you. One stick in my hand helped a lot👍
But I still had the thought that I would not get there. Although my legs are trained, but the constant rise, with a sufficient degree, at night, in a pile of clothes, with a backpack, is exhausting quickly. With an effort of will, I forced myself to walk. My 15-year-old daughter and husband walked more confidently. After a 1.5 hour or so ascent, the descent into the crater began. I caught a panic here. A bunch of people, pushing, kicking, climbing 1 narrow path. Night. Cliff, rocks. I wanted to stay, but the current carried me down. I calmed down because there was no way back. So they descended in a string of lights on their foreheads. The descent was easier than the climb to the top. But your neck is also tense all the time, because you look down, illuminating the path with a headlamp. Plus, they put on masks before starting the descent. We bought masks in Moscow. I didn't want to take the ones that were already used. When I lifted my head up, everything was spinning and pulled back. It's weird. We reached the lights. It's beautiful, plus the feeling of victory over yourself! And the twist of the moment inside the crater of the volcano! Climbing up the rocks was easy. We took off quickly there. We took a photo with a view of the acid lake . We had it milky green. As we later found out, this happens when gases accumulate. Now the volcano is closed to tourists. The danger of gas escapes. The descent was long and tedious. The toes really rest on the shoes. Sometimes she walked up the stairs. And having gone all the way down, I was stunned because I overcame the same distance at night up. Even young foreigners admitted that they were surprised how they got up. There are few older people on the route. Would you go again? I think that for another self-overcoming, Yes! Recommendations: mountain hiking shoes, sticks, your own sulfur dioxide respirators and a good flashlight!
It's not that cold! Going up at the time of the climb seems difficult) now it seems that it was not so difficult) it hurts to go down the legs to constantly stick into the toe of a sneaker) some kind of shoes with a square toe are needed) well, the views are incredible there 😍🤤 it was worth it
