When visiting Sicily, you definitely need to drive to the volcano! Fascinating Martian landscapes, beautiful views, very interesting small craters, along the edge of which you can walk.
At the very top, you can transfer to special buses and climb even higher, almost to the very top of the volcano. There is even a slight earthquake there.
And there is also a delicious pizza upstairs in the cafe 😄

Mount Etna will leave an indelible impression in your memories. It was autumn, when it was +30 in Taormina, and it was very cool on Etna. Definitely stock up on warm clothes, it is also possible to rent down jackets and boots. There are only mountains of ashes on the top and no vegetation.
