The eastern gate of the Brest Fortress memorial complex. The history of these places is breathtaking. I came specially with my little son to tell you on the spot what happened here. The fortress gates have traces of battles. What was missing was to visit the catacombs and the preserved basements, if they exist and are preserved.

It's a very atmospheric place. We entered the fortress from the eastern gate. The road is blocked, and a path leads to the fortress. Trees and ruins of fortifications. It really gives you goosebumps.
