Phaselis was founded in the 7th century BC by immigrants from the island of Rhodes. You can include it in the list of legally protected objects. Akdeniz University is currently conducting large-scale excavations.
We fell in love with Phaselis mainly because of this bay. We arrived by bus from Kemer for the opening, at 8 a.m. While everyone is in traffic, we reached the ticket offices, paid for the 180lir ticket and reached the beach. The first half hour is all alone - beautiful! On weekends, a lot of locals come with their families, have picnics and swim. 2 beaches, shallow convenient entrance for children, not deep at the beginning. There are fish - you can swim with a mask.
We also walked through the forests, in the area of the Lycian trail. Gorgeous views. And of course we visited the ancient ruins.
