One of the former, destroyed and, later (in 1970) restored, gates of Khiva. They are named after a nearby village where a peace treaty was signed between the Khanate of Khiva and the Russian Empire. A new model, but historically reliable. They stand on a pedestrian street between the train station and the old town. Almost the first attraction that welcomes tourists from the railway station. Photo at sunset, before leaving Khiva, along the street, the gate in the background, then the train station is visible.
