Convenient logistics inside the station, plenty of catering, good navigation, and a fast customs clearance system if traveling to the European Union.

My favorite place in London. The Renaissance Hotel is now in the station building. Many years ago, the building was wanted to be demolished due to unsuitable architecture and ugliness. Now it is the hallmark of this area and one of the most visited places. Nearby is the current King's Cross station and platform 9 3/4, from which Harry Potter left :)
