I was at this station yesterday. Garrick Potter himself brought me delicious mushrooms and we traveled all over Europe, then we got to Hogwarts directly.
I missed the express to Hogwarts, I didn't know how to get to platform 9 and three quarters...
I'll have to wait for next year.
And the train station is cool, yes
One of the railway stations in London. The place where the fabulous peron 9 3/4 from Gary Potter exists and fans can take a photo there. There are a lot of people, especially during rush hour. There are practically no seating waiting areas. It's cold and windy in the building. Cafes and shops are small, so if you want to buy coffee or a snack during a long transfer, it is better to go outside the station. Entrance to perona is only for those who have tickets that are scanned at the turnstiles. The exit from the station follows the same principle. There is an entrance to the metro on a small square nearby. There are benches in the square, but in bad weather or late at night, there is nowhere to hide and conveniently wait for the train.
This is the very train station from which Harry Potter went to study at Hogwarts every year. There is the same platform 9 and 3/4, as well as a branded Harry Potter-themed souvenir shop. But be careful: there are constant giant queues at the platform and at the store. Moreover, all languages of the world are spoken in these queues. My wife and I never managed to get to the platform. We would have to stand all day, which we couldn't afford. But they got into the store.
A good train station, large, many platforms, many eateries and places selling food with themselves.
Convenient fast express trains to Cambridge (I advise you to buy tickets through the app, rather than waiting in line at the vending machines / ticket offices).
The main attraction, of course, is the 9 3/4 plateau (between 9 and 10), there used to be just a cart walled up in the wall, and now there is also a full-fledged souvenir themed store. If you are going to travel from this station and have not been there before, I recommend throwing in an extra 5 minutes to visit the attraction.
A healthy place! It takes your breath away when you imagine that Harry James Potter has been here at least 21 times (13 as a teenager and at least 8 with children)!
