A slightly confusing ticket purchase system.Cash registers with live people do not offer budget options.Vending machines and the Internet are more accommodating. The price difference can be three times.100 meters from the train station there is a magnificent botanical garden and a park.Very average station buffets.Pass by.

One of the main train stations in Paris. With a rich historical past, it was opened in 1840. The interesting architecture of the station building itself. Inside, functionally too - not bad, though - a little dirty) In front of the station, I noticed an unusual monument...it turns out that it was installed in 2016, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the "international brigades" who fought during the Spanish Civil War in 1936 - 1938 (they left just from this station). About 10 thousand French volunteers participated in this war.... and here, after the collapse of the USSR, they somehow forgot this topic, although about 4 thousand Soviet military advisers and volunteers participated in the Spanish civil war, 59 of them were awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union...and they did not put up a monument in the Russian Federation...there is only one in Madrid (it was opened during the Soviet Union, in 1989).
