My family and I saw a monument to Vladimir Mayakovsky near the school. It represents the image of a Russian poet who studied at the first gymnasium of Kutaisi. The monument is made in the image of a 12-year-old or 13-year-old child and recalls the Stalinist times. There is an inscription on the monument, but it is only in Georgian, which may be interesting for those who study this language. In general, this historical place attracts attention and arouses interest among visitors.
