An interesting place in New Athos. This structure was built by monks and used as a refrigerator for food supplies. The water makes a pleasant noise and creates a relaxing aura.

The road to the grotto is about 500 meters.
In the heat, it is better to visit this place early in the morning, when there is no scorching sun. There are places along the way where you can sit in the shade, but when you go uphill, it's hard not to hide from the sun. There is a river running along the route and there is a waterfall next to which you can swim, there is a place for changing clothes👌🏻
Entrance is paid and parking is nearby too.

A gorgeous waterfall, next to it you can always refresh yourself even in the hottest weather. Nearby is the church of St. Simon (not valid), a historical museum, a souvenir and jewelers fair, a cafe and of course a gorgeous artificial lake with clear water where you can hire a boat with a transparent bottom and take a ride and of course take some wonderful photos

Every evening we went with my wife to sit next to the waterfall. An unusual place, in Soviet times there was a small hydroelectric power station on the site of the waterfall. There are a lot of animals, fish and frogs swim in the dam.

This is the most comfortable tour place for which money is charged. You can immediately see that the trail and the sights are being watched. Everything is clean, in dangerous places there are railings, bins with garbage bags. There is even a toilet on the trail.
The trail itself goes along the river, very beautiful. The second part of the trail is noticeably uphill, put on comfortable shoes, take a drink.
The total length of the trail is 550 meters.
The cells, the grotto and the temple in the rock make a very strong impression on the believer, you can take church candles with you, there is where to put them.

I liked this place the most in new Athos. Admission is 200 rubles. There is a small waterfall on the territory, the water in it is considered healing and sacred (you can swim and wash in it, but it is very cold, you need to be careful). The closer to the mountain, the more slippery the road becomes (it is made of stone). There will be a small cave in the mountain, candles are lit in it, people pray. Be sure to get to the top of the stairs (very carefully, I almost flew down this staircase). There will be a mini temple right in the mountain. A believing grandmother told me a very beautiful legend about this place. I was very impressed, it's worth it!

It's a beautiful place. Entrance is paid, 200rubles per adult, 100rubles per child (preschoolers are free).
A not very long path leads to a cell in the rock, where a chapel is organized. The gorge is beautiful. There are descents to the river, where especially believers seem to plunge (none of these happened with us). You need to be prepared that a rather steep staircase leads to the cell itself, the height of 15 meters will probably be.

They drive around in expensive cars themselves, have fun in Sochi every evening, but they can't revive their country. There are a lot of homeless animals, in a very deplorable state. If you go there, dogs even eat Bananas at all stops, take a loaf of sausage. At the last stop, if you are going on an excursion, the driver stops near the booth, the little dog is constantly crying.
