We visited this zoo for the second time seven years later. I like everything very much, even if there are not many animals, but all are pleasant and well-groomed. As a bonus, they got to walk the cubs when they are allowed to pet them
Apart from the joy of the child, there are no positive emotions.
Shame on the city administration!!!
Apparently they take their children to the zoos of Mogilev / Minsk / Grodno / Baranovichi ...
It's banal there are no shops on the territory...There is no Payment terminal... The conditions of keeping animals are scary to look at...
It's a cozy place, but I want more grooming on the territory. There are a lot of animals for a small zoo

A very sad impression from the visit 😢 I want the city authorities to pay attention to the animals, restore their places of detention, and feed them properly. Aviaries and buildings are in disrepair (almost unheated - there are small pots with firewood only, falling apart, leaking from the ceiling, small scary cages, unstable internal parts, slippery paths). The entrance price is symbolic - perhaps it makes sense to raise it in order to invest more in animal husbandry. I wish the animals good health and improvement of their conditions! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Please, Vitebsk, do not be indifferent to small living creatures! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
We visited this zoo this summer. As they say, in a pandemic situation, you will see all the most secluded corners of our country.
And so, after learning that there is a zoo in Vitebsk in the very center of the city, we hurried to visit the animals and get positive emotions. At the entrance to the zoo, I was alerted by the fact that there was no one in it. But, on closer inspection, they noticed that tickets were still being sold. We paid 4 rubles and 50 kopecks Belarusian rubles per person. The first thing that caught my eye was the complete devastation. Everything is done somehow. It feels like it's just a dump of unnecessary buildings and things. The asphalt is completely destroyed on the tracks. It is covered with mountains of rubble, already overgrown with grass. Watering hatches are open. Animals are fed directly from the ground. The grass is not mowed. Dirt and stink.
But we are optimists. And we went for impressions. To the monkeys. Very interesting animals. And they really laughed and took pictures of animals. They were also glad to communicate.
However, here our enthusiasm was stopped by a woman who, later, introduced herself as the director of the Orlov Zoo. It turned out that you can't HAVE FUN in this zoo)))) and asked us to leave the zoo. When asked about the refund of the ticket price, we were refused. They were rude. And also, the funniest thing is, I was advised to get a husband, and not go with my son))) Apparently, this is an extremely sensitive topic. Just in case, I'm a mom of two kids. We do not drink, smoke or rowdy, we love animals very much and would never offend them. But even people like us can be asked to leave the zoo, just because we laughed and enjoyed life! And the director also promised to inform the children at school. Obviously, my children and I were at the wrong time in this zoo ...
Complete unsanitary conditions, rude attitude, rudeness and, apparently, the impunity of the leadership.
Don't go to this zoo! You can run into
Photos are not selective. He's all like that!!!
A small cozy little zoo! For such a price, it is quite acceptable! The adult ticket is 5 rubles ( 160 rubles of the Russian Federation ). The most important thing is to make it interesting for children! And then there are no nearby zoos, so there is no choice.
A small zoo, all the animals can be seen in an hour, a turkey and a peacock walk with visitors. The lion is missing, his enclosure is being equipped. Now many animals are molting, their fur is hanging in lumps. A strong smell. The entrance is 4.5 rubles.
Convenient location, lots of animals. It is clear that the staff takes good care of them. But the aviaries and the territory need to be put in order, but the city authorities apparently don't care about this, but they could make a nice little place to relax in the historical part of the city.
It stinks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. The animals are dirty, it doesn't look very nice, the valliers are all dirty too. There are few animals. The price is fine
It is written everywhere that you can not take pictures, there is no toilet in January ((I liked the bison, for 2 adults and a child 300 rubles Russian approximately, not expensive. Kangaroos, foxes, wolves, doe, llama, peacock, monkeys, porcupines.
I didn't like it, there are few animals, all of them are dirty. The paths are generally terrible, a small child walks on them stumbling. Some animals are closed and you can't see them.
The animals are kept in terrible conditions. The bison is buried in the mud, a 4-meter python in a 50×50 cm box. This is a disgrace for the regional zoo.
Small, in disrepair, it is fashionable to go only if for the first time, the children liked the animals, but at the end of the visit there was rather sadness from the conditions in which they are. As in Soviet times, it has been open since then and nothing has ever been done
Customer focus is at zero, holidays, there are a lot of tourists in the city, 15.00-the zoo is closed.
The time of work in Yandex is not specified correctly.
Specifically, on 02/24/2023 at 15.00 everything was already closed.
A small but cozy zoo with interesting animals. The condition of the zoo is certainly patchy, but overall we liked it. Children will definitely like it!
It was a beautiful winter day.
The animals are interesting, but the choice is meager. Apparently it's winter, because of the season.
For two adults and a child 12.5rubles
Children like it and this is the main thing.
Funny monkeys and llamas)
I recommend it for a one-time visit)
It's not a zoo, it's an animal prison. They are in a terrible state, it's scary to walk with a child. Poor animals, it is better to make a mini zoo with a small number of animals, but they will be in good conditions and well-groomed, and not like there....
Our good old Vitebsk zoo! I have been loved since childhood, and now I come here with my daughter. The ticket price is symbolic and I, for the life of me, do not understand people who complain that their children were not allowed in for free or at a children's rate! Guys, you understand, the zoo survives as much as it can at the expense of visitors!!! And if you want to see smooth paths, spacious modern aviaries, and most importantly, healthy and well-groomed animals, then you need to pay for admission, and even better, help the zoo!
Forgotten by God and his superiors, but not forgotten by people. It's so poor, there are no paths, the furniture is from the king of Peas. It's a pity that in the center of Vitebsk, the cultural capital. The animals are decent, there are a lot of interesting things for children. Can't they allocate a budget for cosmetic repairs????
terrible animal husbandry. and in general, such places should not exist in the 21st century. The animals are clearly under a lot of stress, they want to be free. senseless cruelty. it is necessary to reform the park according to the type of Baranovichi in order to keep animals while they are being treated, or which would otherwise die
It's a pity for animals, it's dirty everywhere, even the terarium with the python is broken, they haven't been cleaned for 8 years. They are fed the most dishy.
