We visited everything with children, quite well! All the animals are well-groomed and calm, except for the fussy monkeys;), although they are very interesting to watch, the replenishment in their enclosure is very pleasing to the eye. A free-roaming turkey hung up, all the children were happy until she came closer! I was very impressed with the bison and the lioness. The children remember most of all the primates and the terrarium. The old buildings, made of shabby red brick, looked interesting, however, the overall condition of the zoo was dismal. Minor repairs are only taking place in the bear's domain. I would like to visit the renovated atmosphere of this wonderful institution as soon as possible!
A cute little zoo in the center of Vitebsk. A good place to spend quiet and informative time with your family. Once inside, we had a whole adventure. For some reason, the cashier did not accept any bank cards for payment that day, only cash. This is the second week we have been traveling in Belarus and we are very used to non-cash payments. There was no need to exchange Russian rubles for local currency anywhere. And here there were only enough coins for two entrance tickets. A child with one of the parents passed, and I had to ask for a change of money from passersby. I've never been in such a situation before.
