An excellent museum for those interested in history - the theme of the Second World War. We recommend visiting the museum with a guided tour. The tour was conducted by a younger guy. He told everything very well and sincerely, it is clear that the person takes his work very seriously - the quality of the tour was at the level of large museums. Of all the museums in Vitebsk, I liked this museum the most, primarily due to the work of the guide.
We were at the museum with a friend. We ordered a tour. The guide (a young guy, if I'm not mistaken, Sergey) told everything very interestingly, a lot of informative information, it was clear that he liked the business he was doing. The museum is cozy, interesting exhibits. We were very satisfied. Thank you.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to know the history of the Great Patriotic War and its heroes.
A very atmospheric chic museum! Not like a modern electronic model ... Everything is real here. The expositions are decorated by hand. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a great conversation and told a lot of interesting things! God bless you. I recommend you to visit😊
Today we were on an excursion at the memorial complex, popularly called,,Three Bayonets,,. The tour was conducted by the wonderful guide Streltsov Sergey Viktorovich. We express our great gratitude to Sergey Viktorovich! He is an erudite person, a professional who knows and loves his job. He talked so interestingly about the Great Patriotic War, all the information was given, taking into account the age of the listeners, clearly, qualitatively, in a dialogue with the guys. My 4th graders listened, mouths agape,,
We recommend everyone to visit Sergey Viktorovich's excursions.
With respect and gratitude to the museum staff, 4th grade students and teachers of the Novkin school
A small and cozy museum about the history of the Hero of the Soviet Union Minai Shmyrev and partisan movements. These are the expositions inside.
Also, a very pleasant addition is the playground on the territory of the museum, where it is interesting to walk with children, and even yourself.
A wonderful historical place, very inspiring, gives you something more and plunge into history. If you have not been and live in Vitebsk, I advise you to go with a guide at least once.
In childhood, I came here 100 times, maybe more. After the pool, which is across the street, it was always interesting to look at the weapons of the Second World War ... and of course to be enlightened. The ticket cost 3 kopecks. I know all the rooms by heart. I recommend you to visit. now the price for a visit is also very affordable.

It is a small museum, but the materials presented are very well decorated. You can learn a lot of interesting things, there is an excursion, there is an audio guide, at the end you can watch a movie. It is very interesting and informative.
The museum is not big, it is beautifully decorated. There is an audio guide. The ticket costs 90 kopecks and 50 for children. For such ridiculous money, you can run in, enlighten yourself.
I was passing through the city. I read about this museum. I went purposefully with a company of 6 people.
The WWII Hero Memorial Museum itself is good, BUT our people who are responsible for this facility certainly spoil the impression.
It caught my eye that three people were standing over the same computer and were very busy with something. Well, well, anything happens. The guy sold the tickets and that's it...... I mean, spin as you want. Neither where to go, nor what halls are here, nor that you could connect headphones for familiarization, well, no one said anything. It was necessary to pry and ask. It seems that people are sitting out their hours. Of course, they didn't even offer a guide.
They have a dugout museum on the street. If they hadn't asked, no one would have said. But they were also closed to everything.
Unfortunately, the impression is not good.
Although I repeat, the museum is excellent.
One of the best museums in our city. A large exposition, qualified personnel who will tell you about the harsh military everyday life of the partisan brigades of the Ukrainian Navy. On the territory of the museum you can also find yourself in a real partisan dugout, and on holidays you can witness the reconstruction of the battle and taste the soldier's porridge
We were with the child, I liked it, the ticket price is a penny, I can't even remember how much. If you also visit with a guide, it will be very interesting!
A wonderful museum. There are a lot of exhibits, a lot of information about the actions of M.F. Shmyrev. I think everyone should visit this museum. The name of this man should continue to remain in memory, as well as his heroic deeds.
The museum contains many exhibits about the history of the occupation, the struggle of the partisans, many photos, documents and a detailed tragic fate of the Shmyrev family, his combat biography during the war, his life in peacetime...it was amazing that there are so many names of fighters, their photos, squad commanders...material has been collected about all of them
I really want to repair it. But it is clear that people put their heart into it. An interesting exposition. All Vitebsk residents should go! Again, students need to.
If you decide to visit the museum, then be sure to take a tour, it is very interesting and informative! Everyone liked it, even those who were initially skeptical. The cost of tickets is small.
The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War is dedicated to the activities of the partisan movement in the Vitebsk region headed by Shmyrev. In addition to the valiant exploits of the partisan brigade, the tragedy of Batka Minai's personal life is striking.
I have been there several times, there are quite a lot of exhibits, inside there is everything from a pistol to a mortar, and outside on the territory of the museum there are party dugouts and a platform on rails

The safety of the exhibits is the most magnificent!
