We had a vacation in August 2024 with our family at the Villa Monte Gagra. We were very satisfied!!!! The villa is located in an ecologically clean place. On the one hand there are mountains (wonderful view!!!!), on the other there is a river with the purest water! There is a swimming pool, a sauna, a large cozy kitchen. The rooms are very cozy. The hosts are very friendly and sociable! I advise everyone to visit this wonderful , fabulous place!

Good day to all! So we decided to write our review about our stay at the Villa Monte Gagra hotel. We were in July 2024! An amazing hotel! Friendly, helpful people! They will always help, I will tell you if you apply, they themselves do not impose their communication, which is worth a lot. The hotel is located in a picturesque location, with a beautiful view of the mountains on one side, and a river with clear water on the other side. There are steps down which you can go down to the river. There is a swimming pool on site (and what an amazing view of the mountains when you swim in the pool!) a sauna for those who like to steam up.Very cozy kitchen under a canopy. A comfortable, comfortable suite! The air conditioner is not loud. A very cozy place to relax! We are thrilled!

We visited a wonderful, fabulous place-the Villa Monte Gagra! It is located in the mountains, next to a mountain river. This villa is for those who want privacy with nature, but live in good conditions with access to the pool. A house for 4 families, so warm and friendly gatherings in a cozy gazebo are guaranteed to you! The hosts are kind, friendly and helpful, they also gave us goodies for the road! The sea is 5 minutes away by car.

We have been traveling as a family for several years, the owners are just a miracle, there are few rooms, so there are no crowds of people, all conscious travelers, mostly with children. And so are we) There is a sauna, you can dive either into the pool or straight into the mountain river👍
We rode on squares there a couple of times, the road is mountainous, it's beautiful!
But the coolest thing is, of course, people always meet like family!
You need to understand that this is certainly not a 5-star Turkey, but everyone has their own. 5-10 minutes by car from the sea, you can take a taxi, it doesn't bother us at all, but the silence, the river and the mountains 😍

I rested in the villa, fresh air, the hosts are hospitable, the pool under the stars at night is generally good, the prices of a penny were also poured (they did not take money), the local gazelle minibus took me to the sea (without payment) and took me back, according to the time, however, near the Apache national cuisine, tasty is not expensive, in general, the rest is excellent Passed, thanks!

Villa Monte garage is located between the mountains, a quiet, peaceful place, a river flows under the windows, there are no mosquitoes, the morning and afternoon landscapes are very beautiful, the mountain air is clean, the owners are magnificent, kind, attentive to the requests of vacationers , polite , there is not a large but warm swimming pool on the territory.
One of the minor disadvantages is the distance from the sea, but if you are by car, then it is not noticeable, in summer the owners make a free transfer.
In the evening, you can sit with kebabs and homemade Abkhazian wine , have tea in the summer kitchen in excellent company, the children are always under supervision, or on their own highway in the apartment.
I recommend a very sincere place!

The manager Mikhail does not keep order. He clarified the time of arrival to us, we arrived even a little later, but the room was not cleaned at all. There was no feeling of cleanliness after cleaning. Everything is beautiful only in the photo, in fact it is shabby, the handles of the kitchen furniture are broken, there are no shelves in the closet. We stayed only because we were very tired from a long journey and gave a deposit of 10,000 rubles. The manager also does not trust his guests so much that he takes a deposit of 3,000 rubles from them, does not inform them about it in advance. It's not pleasant. It's good that you return this money. Upon arrival, we clarified several times whether it would be quiet, because we specially filmed away from the hustle and bustle. Mikhail believed that it would be calm, but it was not there... Mikhail and his friends like to hoot until 5 a.m. and turn on music for the whole neighborhood. Turned off only after the remarks. Of the advantages, only the pool. Such a disgusting service has not been seen anywhere else

I'll write again!
Villa, just a formality, just a name from all this horror! To begin with, even this house is located far from the center, then the roosters who scream from 4 to 10 in the morning will not let you sleep! Plus, probably only 1 - the location of the pool! In our time, it was clean. Well, now the cons: 1. The shipping bed linen, which stinks of mustiness (I had to ask to change it), no one made the bed at the entrance.
2. The mattress is so thin and dirty that you can feel all the boards of the bed. Pillows, towels, mats in the bathroom are dirty, have lost their appearance, stink (warm blankets, it's like a car drove over them). 3. During the week of stay, no one cleaned the toilet, bathroom, room, did not change the linen, did not change the towels, wet cleaning was not carried out at all, even in the corridor. 4. The TV was not working 5. No one shows you where everything is, that breakfast can be ordered from the administrator. 6. An important point is that the administrator drinks at the workplace, as well as the instructor who takes people to the mountains on quadricycles! And so.. As Mikhail answered me earlier, like we just found the cons because we wanted to. Well, no.. you really have such a guest house, you were previously written about pillows, but nothing has changed, you charge us money, but you do not give comfort in return.
There is also no transfer to the sea! We were at the peak of the season, no one offered, no one said, although the website says free transfer, and there is not even a paid one! What can we be talking about, so Mikhail would like to know where the transfer was? Maybe we and our neighbors just didn't see him?
I strongly do not recommend using / paying money for a walk on quadricks:
1. The most important point is the instructor DRINKS before the trip!!!!!!!!!!! We've seen it more than once.
2. Girls are not allowed to drive, there is no such information on the website. (Supposedly the slides are steep) Question: are they not particularly steep for your instructor? When he's drunk.
3. It turns out that you can ride quad bikes for a couple for one amount, although the administrator does not give such information.
So Michael, can you answer the questions? Or should the review be deleted again? Or you can say that you have a lot of positive feedback, although this is not the case.

A pleasant place. The gorge. The Kolkhidka River flows behind the guest house. Which gives coolness in the summer heat. The rooms are air-conditioned. The interior is decorated with wood. You can drink water from the tap. It is not chlorinated. It comes from the Olginsky gorge.
It's a long walk to the sea, but you can walk in 30 minutes. It's easier to take a minibus and get off at the beach in the city center in 10 minutes.
There are three apaches within walking distance. There are horse rides nearby.
The area is not very touristic. Calm. For those who want to sleep in silence, and not to the roar of music coming from all sides.

I was looking for an opportunity to ride quad bikes in Abkhazia with my son on his birthday. We found this site, called Mikhail and agreed on 17 o'clock. (In general, there was no scheduled departure at 17, but Mikhail organized it just for us, for which I thank him more. Birthday once a year...) We arrived a little earlier. We were hospitably welcomed and given tea with sweets. The route went along mountain roads and took 1.5 hours. My son and I are delighted. Special thanks to Dantes for showing at the stops how lemons, tangerines and eucalyptus grow.

A wonderful place! We rested body and soul! Not for those who go only to the sea, it's a long way from the beach. There is a heated swimming pool on site, beautiful mountain views. And the river flows behind the terrace and this is an additional thrill, the noise of the river and the singing of birds, in general, beauty! It is better to arrive there by car, as it will be much easier to get to the tour facilities. Not far from the villa there is a cafe of national cuisine, a grocery store, and Gagra nearby)
