I really like this hotel. It is clean, cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Excellent furniture, comfortable beds, snow-white linen. There are many TV channels.
You will always be warmly welcomed, checked into your room and you do not have to wait for 14 hours and do not charge an additional fee for earlier check-in, as is customary in other hotels. Great location near a wonderful park, a magnificent promenade, cafes and restaurants. I recommend spending your vacation and I'm sure you'll want to come back here again.

We stayed at Villa Leona in early August 2024. I really liked everything! The food was incredibly delicious, the staff was very kind and friendly (they would never refuse to help), and there were free sun beds on the beach. Wonderful organization of excursions (especially I advise you to go to Akarmara with a wonderful guide), I also really enjoyed horseback riding. Many thanks to the administrator Ksenia, the chefs and all the staff of the hotel!!! I recommend that anyone who is going to travel to Abkhazia consider Villa Leona. A wonderful hotel that is filled with warmth and crazy love for the guests!

A wonderful hotel, helpful and hospitable staff. The hotel has everything you need for relaxation, hair dryer, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, towels, even beach towels, dryer. Many rooms have balconies. Private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. Excellent, homemade food, usually two dishes to choose from, 3 meals a day. Very cozy area with a swimming pool, with shower and toilet. You feel overwhelmed by care and attention. Clean and cozy. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. A small drawback is there is no elevator.I will definitely come again

I really liked the hotel, it's quiet, the trees are like in the forest, the food is great, the only minus is, we went in September and the pool was heated, the water was icy.

We rested at this hotel from 07/6/2024 to 07/15/2024, we chose according to reviews and did not regret it! The rest was great! Villa Leon has a very good location, greenery everywhere, the heat is not felt at all. The check-in was quick. The rooms fully correspond to the photo and description, the room has everything you need (kettle, glasses, freezer, hair dryer, towels, shampoo and shower gel), high-quality and daily cleaning, bed linen and towels are replaced every 3 days, which have a snow-white appearance. The food is three meals a day, very tasty and varied, the portions are quite large. The staff is polite, helpful and qualified. The territory is small but well maintained, there is a small Playground, a clean swimming pool, recreation areas, there is a parking place for a car. This year we had a vacation with our family in Gagra, at Villa Leon. I liked everything very much, the food is delicious, varied, the girls cooks are great, the waiters are also always on the run, you never wait for food, they carry it right away. The rooms are clean, bed linen is changed every 5 days, towels every other day, the sea is 5 minutes away. A quiet, relaxing holiday. The pool means a lot, the children have not climbed out anywhere, in the evening the backlight is on in the pool, it is very beautiful.

We had a vacation with the groom in early August in this wonderful place. This is not my first time in Abkhazia, so there is something to compare it with, and I must say that this small hotel surpasses some 5-star hotels in terms of service. Especially the quality and taste of the food is beyond praise) but I don't rate 5/5 because of poor-quality room cleaning, flimsy entrance doors and allowing visitors to smoke right on their balconies - unfortunately, all the smoke got into our room from smoking neighbors when the door to the balcony was open, so we tried not to open the balcony, which is sad After all , the air in the gorge was quite fresh and clean . All this does not spoil the overall impression of the holiday, but it may give a small boost to the management in correcting these shortcomings.

I really liked it. Thanks a lot to all the staff. The food above was called in every possible way. It is located in the gorge. It's not as hot as everywhere else. The air conditioner works great. There were minor interruptions with the Internet (we needed it for work), everything was solved quickly, at the first request. I really liked the pool, with waterfalls. Cleaning every day, linen change every 3 days. The sea is 5 minutes away. Its place on the beach with umbrellas, sun loungers, shower and Wi-Fi. We rested for 2 weeks, we liked everything and even no one caught the rotovirus, which is very valuable. Recommend.

We had a rest with a friend at the Villa Leon hotel from 13.07. to 07/23/2024. We were very pleased that we chose Villa Leon. The hotel is located in a gorge between the mountains, so the area is cool. All buildings are very well thought out, a 4-storey building is located on a small plot, the dining room is located in a separate building, which is very important, it does not smell like a kitchen. There is a bar on site where you can buy soft and alcoholic drinks. There is a swimming pool, very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival, we were immediately checked in, despite the fact that we arrived early, the room was prepared. This is a very big plus from the road and they offered coffee with a bun.The room has everything you need, air conditioning, kettle, mugs.Bed linen and towels were changed after 3 days. A towel was also given to the beach. We cleaned the room every day, put shampoo, gel, soap. Thank you very much to the maid Sveta, who served our room. There was 3 meals a day. Everything is very tasty and varied, home-cooked with a soul. For this, we thank the chefs Klava and Sveta, who demonstrated their professional abilities to us. I would also like to mention the wait staff of the waiters Nair, Vika and Nikolai, who approached us with a good mood and a smile. And we have created such a friendly and efficient team, the most important ones: these are Ruslan and his wife Zhenya, kind-hearted people, very attentive and responsive, respected by everyone (even in the city, local people say only good things about them). I wish everyone only health, success in this hard work, family well-being and I say once again thank you so much for the rest. I recommend staying at this hotel.

I liked everything, I would have returned there.
The staff is friendly.
The food was delicious, the portions were large - a complex 3 meals a day, without frills, but quite varied.
There was a late check-in after dinner, but we were fed.
There is a bar, for an additional fee you can order khachapuri, shish kebab, wine, chacha.
We took a standard room with a balcony.
Everything worked, the room was quite decent and clean. Only the beds could not be moved, for a married couple or with a small child without extra.the place is not convenient. The room has everything you need - towels, soap accessories, a washing basin, a hair dryer, a refrigerator, a kettle and cups, a TV, a table and chairs on the balcony. Daily cleaning, linen change for 3 days.
I didn't catch WiFi in all rooms.
There is an ironing board with an iron on the floor.
There is a small playground and a swimming pool is being built. In general, the territory is small, but well maintained.
There is a private beach 5-7 minutes walk away with free umbrellas and sun loungers, there are beach towels.
There is a cafe on the beach, a pharmacy in a nearby hotel and peacocks live there, they let them in.
Excursions can be booked at the hotel, and dry rations are provided on the way. After the tour, you can be warned, you will be fed dinner.
The hotel is located in a gorge, it is always cool, there is no heat. The place is quiet, between the old and new Gagra, near the bus stop.
To the market 20 min walk to the left.
To the Colonnade 15 min walk to the right, to the Abbaat Fortress, Gagripsh restaurant, park and pier +5 min.
For 6 nights in July, 48 thousand came out for two.

Good location next to the gorge. Staraya Gagra is the most beautiful and peaceful area. The hotel is clean and cozy. The room is spacious with a balcony. The food was delicious, just like at home. We had a rest in early August! We didn't expect to like the hotel so much! There is something to compare it with, because we have seen a lot of 5+ hotels and luxury segment. Everything is wonderful in Leon's Villa! In a small area, everything is thought out to the millimeter. A very unusual location, the hotel is located in a gorge, around the mountain - the view is fabulous. And, most importantly, just an extraordinary staff! The receptionist is very friendly and helpful - they will advise the restaurant, call a taxi, wish you a good day, and tell you about the country with love. The maids rub and wash everything from morning to night. The hotel is completely sterile. In general, the hotel is SUPER! And yes, the new gorgeous heated pool!

For 4 stars, of course, it does not pull: the faucets in the bathroom work with a creak, only soap and shampoo, the hair dryer does not work, there are no complaints about changing clothes, but the cleaning is superficial, the range of the kitchen is sufficient, but scarce. Thanks to the Villa Leona Hotel for the warm welcome. We had a rest with a child (1 g 9 m) and were very satisfied.
Let's start with the room: there is a hairdryer, shower towels, sea towels, refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle, glasses, mugs. Clean white bed linen. Iron with ironing board on the floor. Towels and bed linen are changed daily or every other day. The furniture is modern, the design of the rooms is also modern.
There is a small playground on site. Strollers can be left both outside in front of the stairs and in the hall.
The hotel has its own beach with sun beds and umbrellas. Of course, there are not enough pointers on how to get to the beach, but the administrator will explain everything. The sea is 5-7 minutes away.
Three meals a day. The menu is very tasty and varied. It hasn't happened once in 10 days. The portions are large. Our child and we didn't go hungry.
The climate of the Gagripsh gorge, in which the hotel is located: due to its microclimate, there are no mosquitoes and midges. If you plan to take Moskitol or fumigator funds, do not take it.
Above the hotel, you can climb up the gorge and take a walk. There is a small observation deck. The cool climate is especially felt when you come from the sea, but it's cool here.
In August 2023, a swimming pool will be launched on the territory itself.
The hotel has a bar with a wide selection of drinks.
I can safely say that 2 stars can be safely thrown.
There are 2 grocery stores on the way to the beach at very attractive prices. It is best to pay in cash.
We also took advantage of a guided tour from the hotel, where the next day we collected dry rations and fed breakfast a little earlier than the others.
Ruslan Borisovich and Evgenia Nikolaevna are wonderful people who, under certain circumstances, came into our position and went to a meeting! Thanks a lot for that! I recommend and advise you to visit this hotel.

There is a lot of noise from the mountain river nearby, there are no drunken parties, sometimes guests hang out at the bar , but mostly all family - they will drink maximum wine , dance and by the numbers , to the children. Children run everywhere by themselves - it's safe. One of the disadvantages is a completely unprofessional girl at the reception , exhaust fumes from a car tunnel nearby . The boiler is under the ceiling, you have to stand on a stool. Dogs give and howl all the time under the windows if the windows overlook the gorge from the end. It's just that the locals keep them on a leash near the booth, and apparently forget to pour fresh water and give little food, or do not feed. My heart ached for them. Overall a good hotel to stay in. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious. It is located in the forest away from the main road, although the noise is still audible, but tolerable, it is quiet at night. It is better to choose a room from the entrance on the higher floors, the lower balconies are visible. The rooms at the back face the mountains completely, but the construction site spoils everything in front of the windows. From the front end to the power supply area, it may be noisy. One night they turned on the music and sang songs until 2 a.m., not caring about all the residents. The minus is the service, probably like everywhere else in this country. They didn't really explain anything when they stopped by. The administrator is minding her own business, she needs to be searched throughout the territory. No one is watching the room keys, and there are no safes in the rooms. The tour operator told them to put flowers in the room, because it was a birthday on the day of arrival, they did not do this, they did not offer compensation. The waiters in the kitchen are children, running, in a hurry, asking for the order again, but trying their best. Sugar and salt on the tables are common, sugar is not lumpy. The beach is equipped (umbrellas, sun beds, sand is poured), but not its own, as stated. Anyone can come there. Abkhazia does not have its own beaches. The entrance to the sea is large stones, it is unpleasant without slippers. The water is clean, especially in the first half of the day. In general, I recommend the hotel, but I take a star for the attitude towards guests at a high cost of living.

We had a rest in early August 2022. Overall, I liked the hotel. Daily cleaning, delicious and fresh food. The menu has not been repeated once in a week. There were some fruits (watermelon, melon, apples) and pastries for tea. You take the drinks and bread yourself, and the waiters offer and bring the main dishes themselves. Everything in the room is working, the water pressure is such that the watering can is knocked out of your hands if you open it abruptly. The lights were really turned off almost every night. There is no light in the rooms when you turn off and Wi-Fi does not work either. The generator works only in the kitchen, including breakfast in the morning without delay due to shutdown. Of course there are disadvantages, for example, we had a room on the ground floor overlooking a bench where someone is constantly smoking or talking loudly on the phone, which is why you can't leave the balcony open. It's not pleasant to smell the smoke and listen to someone else's chatter. For some reason, people consider it the norm to yell at the whole street, or stomping up the stairs late, as if they live there alone. But this is no longer a claim to the hotel, but to the culture of human behavior. Wi-Fi was weak, there are two points from the hotel, I had to cling to one or the other every time. But on the beach of the hotel, Wi-Fi caught great. I didn't like the sea itself in the beach area of the hotel, the water stank all week. The stones all turned green on the 3rd day of our stay, slimy. When you go down to the sea on the stairs of the Gagripsh boarding house, you pass by the toilet. So it feels like it was because of him and because of the river that flows into the sea behind the beach of this boarding house that it stank. When we went for a walk to the old colonnade, we looked down at this river under the road, so there is a lot of garbage and the smell is appropriate. As a result, the sea on the beach of the hotel disappointed, we went there only to sunbathe before lunch, and went swimming to another beach at the beginning of Gagra, there the water is crystal clear and did not stink. Another disadvantage of the hotel for us is that there is nothing around, 2 small shops at the stops. The nearest civilization and entertainment are 1 km away, one way or the other. There is nothing to entertain children with. In the evening, the lighting on the streets is poor, you walk in the dark almost. In general, I liked my stay at this hotel. Thanks to the administrator Katya, she will always explain everything, she will order a taxi if necessary.

In the Villa
Leona, we rested from 09/24/12. to 10/22/12. We were just lucky with the weather, swam in the sea and sunbathed..The hotel is cozy and we really liked it. The room has everything you need to relax (air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer).Hot water was always present, there were no interruptions with the light.The staff is hospitable, friendly, polite. Any issues were resolved in a timely and kind manner.Rooms were cleaned daily, bed linen and towels were changed. Special thanks to the maid Svetlana for this! We were fed 3 times, everything was very tasty, there was a choice of food. The kitchen staff are just great.Wi-Fi worked everywhere (on the beach, in the room, at the reception)
The only disadvantage is that if the balcony overlooks the private sector, then the barking and howling of dogs do not allow you to sleep at night.
As a result, we had a great rest and got a lot of unforgettable impressions!

The best hotel in Gagra, everything in the room is new, stylish, very cozy and warm, perfectly clean, there is a hair dryer, kettle, iron, in general everything for a wonderful holiday. And the view from the window is simply magnificent, I had a view of the mountains from my balcony. There is a Playground, exercise equipment, the sea is two steps away, shops nearby, there are cafes, banks, a market, entertainment venues. You can walk to the castles, the colonnade and many other attractions. Special thanks to the administrator for his kind attitude and courtesy. I give all the staff a 5-star rating. We will come only to you now, I really liked it.

We had a rest from June 21 to July 1, 2023. We previously vacationed in Villa Leone in 2015. We were satisfied with the rest, so when the question arose - where to relax, we decided to go to Abkhazia again and only to this hotel.
1) Location: within walking distance from the sea, near the promenade, park and beautiful views. And the hotel itself is located in the Gorge (mountain air and there is no sweltering heat), sometimes we went for a walk there.
2) Nutrition. Three meals a day. It is always very tasty and there is a choice of dishes. They were full. Thanks to the chefs. They cooked for us as for themselves.
3) The availability of sun beds with umbrellas on the beach is free of charge. And a bar for a fee
4) Children's playground on site. With a small child, it was important for us
A swimming pool is being built on site. So the rest will improve even more.
Friendly staff, there is a bar. We spent time there in the evening. With homemade Abkhazian wine and communication with vacationers
On my own, I can wish to buy a coffee machine so that you can drink cappuccino or latte coffee beans for breakfast.
