We lived in a hotel nearby, we came to Villa Aquavisi for breakfast/lunch/dinner. a wonderful place with stunning views.
Madonna cooks in such a way that just wow, you don't want to go anywhere else: khachapuri, tortillas, dumplings, ajapsandal. I usually asked for chicken fillet and vegetable salad for dinner — the breast is incredibly tasty pickled, the meat is juicy. There is a very delicious fresh tangerine in spring.
alcohol is available, or you can bring your own by paying the cork fee.
the building of the Villa itself is a terem, very cozy and warm, you don't want to go anywhere, it's like you're visiting a good—natured host, where you are a very dear guest. and the views just need to be seen with your own eyes.

Stunning view from the balcony, cozy rooms, clean and cozy.
We ate only at the hotel restaurant.

The villa is located in a picturesque location on a mountain above the Seaside Park. We rented a 2-room suite. The room is chic, in a classic style, solid furniture, 3 Windows, sea view, of course, large balcony, 2 bathrooms, bidet. 9500 per day without meals, a child of 3 years old is free of charge. Nearby and generally on the floor there are no other rooms except ours, other vacationers were almost not heard. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. And everything seems to be fine, but there are also quite a few disadvantages. The bathroom smelled very strongly of sewage and this smell did not go away for all 4 days of our stay, in the bathroom (and only in one) only liquid soap and that's it, no shampoo, no shower gel - somehow very surprising, especially for a suite, we haven't seen this for a long time. But we are not proud - we turned to the staff, suddenly forgot to put it, but no - we are told that this is the most liquid soap 3 in 1 can be used both as soap, as shampoo and as shower gel. Shta??? If we knew, of course, we would have bought all this, but, apparently, we have already been spoiled - in all hotels, even in the simplest ones, they give shampoo and gel, but here we were greedy. And since the villa is on the mountain there is nothing nearby, no shops, the nearest one is probably 5 kilometers away. There is no kettle in the room, no tea, coffee, sugar, only for a fee and only in the cafe. At the same time, there is nothing sweet in the cafe, except jam, condensed milk, no desserts. Cafe. It's the only one and it's not cheap at all. Maybe we had some high expectations, we were guided by reviews, but... in general, the menu is not very extensive, but I understand that the cook cooks seven days a week from 8 a.m. and at least until 9 p.m. alone, poor thing. There are a lot of things off the menu, especially for breakfast. Some are delicious, some are not at all. I did not like the risotto with mushrooms, the warm salad is not tasty at all. Meat in French is chicken fillet with melted cheese - it is peculiar. My husband liked the national cuisine, but I somehow got fed up with it, I wanted something else besides solyanka, hominy and meat in Abkhazian. Well, the main disadvantage is still the location. Her husband could not always drive, and she had to walk up stairs, crawl uphill and a lot, and with a child, she refused to climb so much, she had to carry in her arms. It seems that you look at the map to go to the park 750m, but you just get into the middle of the park, but you have to walk to the cafe (I highly recommend the Abaat tea house) or to some children's activities, or to the store, in general, then return to the mountain in the dark... No, we are not ready for such feats anymore. And in 4 days, the electricity was turned off 4 times, they did not have their own generator, as I understand it, because 3 times out of 4 they were turned off for a long time. Wi-Fi is weak.

A great hotel with a magnificent panoramic view of the sea. We lived in a junior suite with a separate entrance, but the standards also differ in a rather large area and large balconies. All the houses are built of wood, they smell wonderful, excellent quality solid wood furniture, comfortable mattresses, good bed linen and huge towels. I would like to note the staff separately - sincerity, kindness, sincere desire to help. Sincere thanks to Irakli, Madina, and Madonna. The wish is not to lower the bar and - ideally - invite another waiter, because Irakli, of course, is an orchestra man, but he physically cannot keep up with everyone, which is why meals are stretched out in time.

A very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and the water pressure is good. The food in the restaurant is very tasty.
Cons: I had to walk up the stairs in large quantities to go down to the sea; poor sound insulation, sometimes there were problems with the water temperature.

A great place if you are not afraid of climbing uphill (there is an elevator in the neighboring boarding house, you can use it). We have been living for 10 days since mid-September. The velvet season is gorgeous. The air is warm. The sea is clear and transparent. The mountains are still green and juicy in September. The place is major. It reminds me of Georgia. The villa is beautiful. The view from the windows is incredible. We rented two rooms for 5 people. Upon arrival, we were warned not to smoke. But we don't smoke, it won't scare us). We were settled in one room quickly, the second had to wait a little, it didn't bother us, because we were hungry from the road, threw our suitcases and left to get food. Everything was fine. Very tasty breakfasts. Everyone tried it. Omelet, pancakes, cheesecakes will lick your fingers. I can't say anything bad, we were greeted very hospitably, conducted with a smile, we also lived wonderful. We were welcome. They responded to all requests. The house has a pleasant smell of wood. The linen is white, always clean, the towels are fluffy. The water pressure is always good. Once the light was turned off from 6-8 (but this is the case throughout the country). Special attention is paid to fire safety. There will be no iron and kettle in the room, the iron is in the laundry room, you can drink tea at the reception. For cleanliness, a separate plus. They are trying and it is noticeable. The staff is sincere, responsive. Vacationing people here are also special. Respectful of each other, quiet and maintain the atmosphere of the place. We have also noted this. We liked the fact that the hotel is on the mountain. Take a walk after dinner, walk along the embankment and slowly climb up to the villa. In Abkhazia on vacation for the first time. They chose the old Gagra. They didn't regret it. No crowds. The place is aristocratic, calm, what we needed for a family holiday. We were satisfied. 10/10. Comfort in small things. We didn't build any illusions. There is something to compare, but I didn't want to compare. We were driving behind the transparent warm sea, swimming, sunbathing, eating shish kebab and khachapuri)) Everything went according to plan. Grandma was with us, she liked it too. Our children were tanned and bought up))What else is needed for happiness)) No intestinal infections were picked up. Everyone was scared of it. The new Gagra is more mobile, more modern. But we really liked it in the old one. Of the minuses, there was not enough pool for us. For that, the view from the room compensates for everything, by the way, it is from all the rooms on the sea)) . It's cool here. And also, if you yourself treat with respect the house where you came to visit, then you will get double in return. What a hello, such an answer!!! I arrived in a good mood, follow the minimum rules of this house and you will feel doubly good!!! By the way, the villa has excellent wine. It's a pity that we found out on the last day)))

Very sincere, cozy, family atmosphere, caring staff and the hospitality of the hosts, envelop with warmth and hospitality!!!
The Villa itself is located in the mountains, offering stunningly picturesque views, chic rooms and huge balconies, the best restaurant with delicious food and excellent service, sauna with a font, barbecue area, everything is done with love and they leave the most pleasant memories of this place!

A magical place in the center of Old Gagra! Due to the fact that the villa is located on a mountain, the balcony offers stunning views of the entire coast of Gagra. The hotel is a small family-run hotel with its own home-cooked cuisine, it is simply divine, there is a large selection, you can try both Abkhazian, Russian, and European cuisines. The room is very clean, luxurious wooden furniture, a huge balcony with stunning views, music in the room. 7 min walk to the sea, descent to the sea by elevator of the pension Colchis, the beach is clean with fine sand. A very beautiful villa and a view like in a fairy tale! It is located high, 1.5 km up from the Abaat fortress to the left. The Kalhida boarding house has an elevator for descent and ascent for everyone (this is where the shops are (not far from the villa)). The staff are sunny bunnies. The restaurant has the most delicious dishes in Abkhazia.
I removed the asterisk because there was no access to wifi all the time. Moreover, the person had it next to him, but I didn't. Then vice versa. There are no plates in the room, but there is excellent air conditioning.
You can write a lot, in general, if you have an active lifestyle, then this place will only brighten up your vacation!

Great hotel, we had a rest at the end of September 2022. The villa is very beautiful, everything is made of wood inside. Beautiful view of the sea and nature from the balcony. Panoramic windows overlooking the sea in the restaurant. The reception is responsive. The only drawback: the organization of cleaning leaves much to be desired- without a reminder, shampoo with shower gel was never brought, cobwebs on chandeliers. The hotel is not for the elderly and children, as the road to the hotel is to climb quite high up the mountain. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but not varied and expensive.

It 's just awful ! The impression of the hotel is the saddest. The only good thing here is the view from the room. At the entrance, we were warned that cigarettes should not be smoked in the room and on the balcony, but Icos and glo are allowed. All this time we quietly smoked glo on the balcony and threw sticks into the trash in the bathroom, also at the entrance they said that wet cleaning was about changing towels for every 4 days, well, 5 days later we changed the bed and changed towels, but the next 5 days-no, we also took things to the laundry for a fee, but things were bouncing back with heels. The hose broke in the bathroom and there was no switch from the shower to the faucet and vice versa, instead there is just a pin sticking out, we reported this to the reception, on the second day we gave a hose and a tool with the words "well, change it yourself." After the first change of towels, no one changed them for the second time, we talked about it to the staff for two days, in response we only heard one word "good", when once again we went down to the reception to remind ourselves once again, we were told that everything would be done tomorrow, but after a couple of minutes to us an indignant maid runs into the room and starts to eliminate the scandal for us, that we blame her and came up with everything, as a result, our dispute did not last long, she just slammed our door and left. Then the owner of the villa called us to talk and his first words were "why should I shoot you here for cigarettes in the room", we just got old from such loud and inappropriate words from an adult, but still began to calmly conduct a dialogue and try to convey to them that these are not cigarettes, but glo, here it starts again the maid climbs into the dialogue and begins to prove that these were bulls and begins to switch to a raised tone and continue to accuse us that we came up with and did not notice the change of linen and towels, then start yelling that no one complained about her before us, in the end it all ended up that we just once again They calmly asked to change the linen and towels tomorrow. Also, the hotel has poor noise insulation, the person in the hotel is aggressive and customer-oriented, immediately takes the position that everyone around is to blame. Vila is beautiful and clean only in the photos on their website, in real life it looks completely different

I booked two rooms in this hotel from July 12 to 18, 2023, and paid 18,810 rubles. On July 11, friends who were vacationing in this area sent a video of how everything was flooded because of the rain. We decided not to risk going there with the children. The hotel did not even warn us about the natural disaster, so as not to refund the money for the reservation. When asked to return the money, she was refused. I believe that the owner and staff of this hotel were obliged to warn about the disaster - the flood and return the money without any requests.

A great little hotel. Everything is clean, neat, calm. The style of the chalet in the mountains. I am pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the service. Hearty breakfasts. The cook feeds "for slaughter" and is delicious. It is located on a mountain in front of the sea, a gorgeous view without unnecessary noise, only the sound of the surf. The fact that you need to go up and down serpentine stairs is even good, firstly, the original architecture around, and secondly, excellent cardio training. We liked everything. We have been vacationing at the villa more than once and when the question arises where to stay in Abkhazia, of course here. Many years ago, driving by, we noticed a wooden log cabin with gorgeous views on the mountain, and decided to go in. The hospitable hosts Alexander Viktorovich and Vladimir met us. We are such a pleasant family that we come as if to ourselves. There is always cleanliness, cordiality and delicious quality service. Alyona has been a calling card for many years, her radiant look and "knock, knock, your order is ready" left peace and quiet in her soul. Now she is being replaced by the younger generation of Victoria and Danya, a surprisingly sincere young man. They are always friendly and ready to help. The entire staff of the villa corresponds to the owners, I do not want to single out anyone so as not to offend.
But there is one thing, the rooms do not have a full set of dishes for fruits and drinks. Of course you can ask, but it's not convenient. And access to the coffee machine only through the waiter is inconvenient. Otherwise, everything is fine and even climbing 300 steps is not difficult. Thanks for the rest.

A wonderful hotel, wonderful and hospitable host!
We had a great rest in the "off season" - silence, peace and just an incredible view from the balcony - an overview of Gagra and the sea!
We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves and a small "waterfall".
It was a thrill for us to go down 300 steps to the sea, maybe for someone it will be an obstacle, but believe me - the view of the sea and sunsets from the balcony is worth it.

Let's start with the main thing. A squalid place with a squalid staff who do you a favor for being here. They charge a lot of money for a stay, but the service is lower than those where it is cheaper. In the cafe, 90% of the menu is missing from the menu. Of the breakfasts, only eggs fried in a terrible amount of butter and pancakes. There is always borscht from the first, pasta from the dishes, fried potatoes.It is not cleaned, the tables are dirty, napkins are never on the tables. They clean the tables with the same cloth that sweeps the garbage from the chairs. Wishing you a pleasant day is an option for those who have just checked in or left a tip. Now to the accommodation: dirty, clean up with a kick in the ass and a request. The bed linen was changed twice in 14 days. When they asked me to change it, I heard in response: "maybe you didn't notice? You were changed yesterday." The director of this villa threatened to shoot for the steers left in the urn, although they were sticks for heaters and clarified the possibility of smoking sticks upon check-in. The shower hardly turns on due to the lack of a switch on the mixer. The hose was cracked and on the second day the watering can came off. The next day they gave me a hose and gave me the keys with the words "here, you can handle it." It's absurd at every turn. One kidney wasn't working in the bathroom, and the next one started flickering. They asked to replace it, but naturally they changed the one that was flickering. In the shower, the curtain is so dirty that it feels like it's 5 years old. The soap in the dispenser probably costs two years and they just add soap there and dilute it, that when pressed it flies around and does not remain in the hand. Pastel white but with spots, with holes. A double bed is two single beds pushed together, with different sheets covered. There is no sound insulation, the neighbors can be heard snoring. dirt at every step. The laundress does not know how to wash, stains do not come out. After the scandal, they stopped saying hello. The railings at the entrance are rotten, parking spaces are very bad-there are none, local cars are always parked. The road to the beach is a descent down the broken steps through the neighbor's yards. There is an elevator of the neighboring boarding house. Downstairs on the embankment it is always bustling and noisy, a disco ship floats in the sea until one o'clock in the morning and does not let you sleep. In general, I address the director - there is no worse place to rest. Work on the staff, the junkie waiter was completely misunderstood. and your attitude towards visitors, take away your arrogance. I never managed to check into this hotel. I booked a room for 4 nights, the manager warned me that I would have 2 nights at the stand.in the room and 2 in the suite. I agreed and made an advance payment. They wrote to me that they would send me a voucher. 2 days before the trip, I called the hotel to check if everything was in order and where my voucher was. I was told that they could not accept me for 4 nights, since the manager in the system noted only the first two days, and forgot the second two. As a result, another person has already booked the room. They referred to the fact that this manager has already resigned. What a service! What would you have done if he hadn't quit? So-so excuse. This is a pure blunder of the hotel administration. You must be responsible for the actions of all employees. They offered me to return the prepayment, or check into a nearby hotel for 3800 rubles on the third night. I had a 4-night trip, i.e. for 4 nights, look for yourself what we can do. That is, I had to change 3 hotels in 4 nights. A great vacation . Excellent staff. I visited my relatives as a guest . To the sea , Even what I was waiting for was a 15 - minute walk through very beautiful places , past abandoned castles ! The sea is very gorgeous , there are always few people. A wonderful cafe on the beach with a playground.

We have been vacationing in Aquavisi for 10 days since July 13, 2022. Of course, against the background of general devastation, this is just a pearl. Although you girls will have to carry the suitcases yourself. And we lived on the top floor in room 15. The hotel guests helped well. There is a constant unpleasant smell in the bathroom from the hole on the floor, which was explained by rains and some kind of air plug! And finally: a humiliating inspection of towels and bed linen, which the young lady from the reception shakes in front of you, for the presence of dirt stains! The horror!
