In summer, it's cool here on the summer playground, next to the river, it's cool, green, delicious meat and fresh beer.
It was yesterday, the middle of November, it was warm in the main hall, cold in the rest, people were sitting in jackets. The lamb kebab was delicious, but very greasy. The best chicken soup in the city is served here, the broth is clear and saturated.
Beautiful waitresses, polite, nimble.
I can't even answer how old this cafe is, at least 35 years old. Every real Almaty resident has been here at least once.

A pleasant place with a great location. The portions are large, and the variety of dishes is amazing. Everything was good for the food. Prices are in an acceptable range. The attentive staff can offer blankets if it is cool outside. However, the place is popular and it may be difficult to land and/or park. Otherwise, we were left with a pleasant impression of the visit. I recommend.

There is one special feature in places like Venice, cafes with a long history and a magnificent barbecue. These are pretty interesting waitress girls. Mostly, these are older girls, it feels like they have been working here for many years. I come here periodically to eat borscht. It is possible that there are other more interesting and delicious places, but this borscht with a huge piece of meat on bones the size of Uncle Vanya's fist is just a fairy tale for a Kazakh. In summer, a river will literally roar behind a hedge. It is suitable for short summer gatherings to eat shish kebab or borscht for lunch at the very least.

I placed an order for delivery through a waiter (called Bagila), who immediately warned that cooking would begin only after payment. I made the payment on time, but the waiter didn't even bother to check and I sent the order to the kitchen. As a result, the order was delayed and left an unpleasant impression. Such an attitude towards clients is unacceptable. I hope the management will pay attention and take action.

In the evening, the waitresses resemble a drowsy fish, reluctantly move and almost do not think at all. There was an unpleasant incident, they brought us not the kebab that we ordered, but another one ordered by other people. Externally, they are difficult to distinguish. We didn't figure it out, we started eating it. And then the waitress came back, said - not your order, give it back. We say we've already started eating it, count it. She disappeared for a short time, then returned with another portion of our order and stated in an ultimatum form that we must now pick up both orders. We really didn't want to spoil the evening, and agreed, but the unpleasant aftertaste remained: is a piece of meat more expensive for such a large institution than good reviews and reputation? Management should choose staff more carefully and train waitresses to treat customers with respect.

A solid four. It's a good place to just sit and chat. The staff is prompt, responsive, and well served. The cooking speed is not the fastest, but it is during rush hour.
The food is delicious, it is prepared with a soul. The assortment is very diverse, for every taste, practically. There is, however, a lot of smoking and noise on the street. But if you sit inside, the air is cleaner, the lighting is better and much quieter, because most people sit outside.

We sit for 10-15-20 minutes. And the waiter takes their order first. I also thought maybe this is our barbecue. When the fervor, heat and aroma of the hot dish subsided, the waiter came running and moved the barbecue from their table to ours. And I brought them a fresh, hot, fragrant barbecue.
The beer glasses are dirty. There was a hair in the salad (but it was removed from the account)
