A great place for a cultural holiday with friends. Professional productions. Convenient parking. A large hall. Buffet with the possibility of pre-ordering during the intermission
Come early, parking is a problem, especially since there is where and how to spend time before the performance: you can look at stage costumes, check into photo zones, and just have a cup of coffee in the buffet. You can book a table in advance, especially if you are with a group and not driving.
Who rarely goes to the opera - take seats in the box on the mezzanine, in the last row. There you can tap into the phone without disturbing others.
I was listening to The Magic Flute. I was just listening. From time to time, he put down his phone and began to follow the action on stage. The opera was more interesting than the phone. That's it.
The theater, as always, is on top, I recommend it to both lovers and gourmets, the repertoire is always excellent, the artists and their game are great, children and adults are delighted
I have not been inside, I rate the architecture purely 5 stars. A very beautiful task with a view of the fountain. The park directly envelops this building. There will be an opportunity, you will have to go to the performance and see the spinning scene firsthand.
I visited this place in the fall of 2024. I listened to the opera The Barber of Sibyl, the opera was in Italian, with the credits, which in turn were in Russian. The theater itself is beautiful, as befits the main theater of the capital. Clean, marble columns, space and buffet. The prices in the buffet are reasonable, alcoholic beverages are slightly higher than usual, but it's not scary. The acting is wonderful. The disadvantage is that you have to look at the translation of the Italian opera, lowering your eyes down to the translation in the running line. It seems to me it would be more convenient to place this line on top, and the heads do not interfere and the neck does not get tired)))
We went to Carmen. The voices are strong and beautiful. There are no complaints about the place itself - everything is on top, very beautiful and cozy. Only the translation of the words was not visible, it was right under the stage, and the heads of those sitting in front were slightly covered. And so great, I liked it.
A viewer who has come to the theater for the first time or only a few times will be interested in exploring several floors of the temple of art.In addition to the buffet, you can look at historical documents, costumes from productions of the past decades, there are several photo zones. One of the disadvantages is that there are uncomfortable seats in the auditorium.
A huge, majestic building with beautiful sculptures and a fountain.
Everything is very solemn and beautiful inside!
A little bit about the mundane: I liked that despite the fact that the whole hall was packed, there was no queue for the women's toilet)) and you can book a table for the intermission, you come, and you already have everything, it's convenient)
Of the cons: the hall is stuffy, there is a huge queue to the bar, it has dissipated by the end of the intermission, and they are kicked out very quickly after the end of the performance (
A very beautiful theater from the point of view of architecture, next to a large green recreation area, which is very important for the center of Minsk. Ticket prices are low, the productions are large-scale, solid, and interesting. I was at the opera Eugene Onegin, beautiful scenery, costumes. I liked everything
It's an amazing place. I took an excursion with a group, went through workshops, visited ballet rehearsals, an interesting story, an atmosphere of creativity and rigor. I recommend both ballet and it's worth going on an excursion :)
I was on a tour of the theater. I really liked it. It was amazing that the theater has 11 floors above ground and 7 floors underground. It is equipped with a modern object movement system. There are a lot of interesting and new things. I recommend
THE BOLSHOI THEATRE OF BELARUS...
On a Friday in early summer,
Visited our BIG
OPERA AND BALLET THEATER.
We rested with all our soul.
The uniqueness of the performance is
a classic setting,
the talent of the artists is a sight to behold.
One of the best productions.
Popular tickets,
To rest your soul
TO THE OPERA AND BALLET THEATER.
BELARUSIAN, our BIG ONE.
DL2024
Very tasty pizza. The balance of dough and filling is what you need, fresh fragrant pesto, lots of prosciutto. Friendly waiters. The place is popular, I couldn't get in on Thursday evening without booking. I returned in the daytime and did not regret it.
I didn't have enough comfort, but it's such a concept, simple and open.
I boldly recommend it.
The best theater in Minsk. A gorgeous poster every month. Colorful, meaningful productions. It's cozy inside and nice to walk in the park near the theater. Great fountain season opening ceremonies. I'm shooting a star for the attitude of some theater workers: some turned off the lights in the hall after the evening performance and drove away those who wanted to take a memorable photo, others drove people out of the wardrobe with the phrase "Let's hurry up. We are already closed." There was an unpleasant aftertaste.
A magnificent theater! The first time I was in Minsk and the first visit to the theater and watching the ballet "Swan Lake". The theater itself impresses not only from the outside, but also inside with its space and ceiling height. The decoration is made of expensive materials, columns, chandeliers, sofas. Also in the hall of the theater there are expositions of costumes from performances that were staged in this theater. I liked the decoration of the auditorium itself, without any extra pretentiousness, everything is tasteful. Comfortable seats both in the porter and in the boxes. It will be very convenient for the audience to watch the performances from any place in the auditorium. The hall is made so that from the stage to the end of the hall, the seats are raised higher gradually, and not at the stage level, as in many theaters in Russia.
It's always magical to visit a Big One. You open a heavy door, step over the threshold and that's it - you're in another dimension) Marble stairs, chandeliers, scarlet velvet armchairs, all this light flair of music in the foyer, and a scene, a scene ... Follow the action, immerse yourself in the stories told by dance, marvel at the graces, plasticity, fantasies of directors, soar, dream… This time there are modern ballet performances. No pointe shoes, no tutus, barefoot, but God, how beautiful it is!!! Thank you to the theaters for being there!
The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Minsk is a historical symbol and cultural wealth of the Republic of Belarus. This magnificent structure, which is an example of Soviet pre-war constructivism, is not only a national monument of architecture, but also a great art. It was founded in 1933 and has since become an integral part of the Belarusian opera and ballet scene.
The history of the theater was tested by time and severe trials during the Great Patriotic War, when the building was destroyed. However, thanks to the efforts and determination of the people, the opera house was restored and became a symbol of national recovery and cultural wealth.
Today, the Bolshoi Theater continues to delight its audience with magical performances, presenting more than 80 operas and ballets, including national works and world classics. This is a place where art comes to life, and its reputation as one of the greatest opera houses in the country is deservedly confirmed.
Be sure to visit: it's better when on tour. If there are none, then the opera voices are impressive! And it is also one of the main dominants of the city: both outside and inside, it is impressive! Delicious coffee and snacks :) Sparkling wine, a table reservation for the intermission. The Stalinist Empire is very impressive. Worthy!
A great place 👍
It's always nice to relax in the shade of the trees and watch the people...And the fountain has a peaceful effect on the guests of Minsk and Belarus
For the main theater of the city, and possibly the country, it is passable. The prices are quite affordable, the productions are interesting, the actors of the theater are diligent. I was confused by the cerberus caretakers, who are ready to take your phone away from you, so long as you don't take pictures or take pictures. A normal practice for any theater, however, it is embodied in an aggressive manner, which overshadows the viewing of the play.
the performances are great, the costumes, the performance, the scenery, everything is very good, there are a lot of places, the staff is friendly and pleasant, the distance between the seats is not thought out at all, you sit and breathe on someone... this is a minus, and of course the people who come sometimes are simply amazed by their bad manners, they sit chatting and behave just disgusting, but this is not the fault of the theater, so I recommend it.
It looks monumental!! The cleanliness in the adjacent park is ideal, as in fact in all of Minsk! The desolation on weekdays in the afternoon is even partly frightening) But you can take great photos!)
The theater is gorgeous, I came from Moscow for a few days and went to Prince Igor, I liked it so much that I also went to Eugene Onegin. The theater itself is very beautiful, the vocalists sing beautifully. An incredible orchestra of strength. For a Muscovite, an opera for 500 rubles is just a gift from heaven!!! The next time I go to Minsk, I will book the opera in advance. Of the minuses, I can only note the absence of a Wi-Fi zone on the territory of the theater. I didn't have a local connection and, accordingly, the Internet, I had to look for the nearest cafe after the theater to call a taxi to the hotel. ))) But on the other hand, it's also good, a walk after the opera) In general, I advise everyone unequivocally!!!🔥🔥🔥🩷
A beautiful building both inside and out. The theater was built in 1933 in the style of Soviet constructivism. Amazing atmosphere and architecture. The stage and the hall are admirable.
A wonderful place, I wish you to visit it more often!!! A source of inspiration and a territory of high art! The atmosphere of cordiality, celebration and beauty!
I was on a tour of the "Backstage of the Bolshoi Theater", I really liked it. The guide took you through almost all corners of the theater. I recommend. Well, it is also necessary to visit as a spectator
Among the advantages: affordable tickets (unlike in Russia, for example), but the level, of course, is not the same. Cool scene features - lights, visual effects. Of course, the live sound is cool. The level of the dancers is average, the vocals have been very disappointing in places lately. And I really want a ballet NOT by Elizariev, I want a fresh approach, new ideas and solutions. I am glad that the program always includes, in addition to classics, Belarusian productions: for example, according to Korotkevich.
This is the first time in this theater. You won't get into the Big One in Moscow (both the prices and the difficulty of buying tickets), but here tickets in the stalls (we had 13 rows) are 3000 rubles (Russian). The magnificent St. Petersburg troupe and the Eichmann ballets!!!! Awesome
A beautiful building both inside and out. Marble decoration, everything in the theater is in excellent condition.
We attended a concert in a small hall - excellent performance, selection of works, charming entertainer.
The chairs are new and comfortable, which is also important
A wonderful theater. We have been to Minsk twice, both times we went to the theater. Once with relatives. Everyone liked it very much. Both opera and ballet. A wonderful orchestra! The orchestra, bravo!
It is a real pleasure to go to the ballet or opera, the special atmosphere in the theater, the high professionalism of the actors.
Every visit to the theater is a real celebration.
Oh, everyone should visit this place at least once in their life.
I recommend it!
Luxurious interior, strong troupes, courteous staff, diverse repertoire.
The high level of service, friendliness and communication culture of the theater staff is uplifting. The acting is also at a very high level. You can feel their dedication and a lot of work on stage. The costumes of the actors match their images, they are very beautiful! Theater tickets need to be bought about a month in advance, because they are disassembled very quickly. The theater will appeal to those who love live classical music.
A very interesting theater building in a beautiful park with a fountain ensemble. The interior is shiny with lots of photo zones. I listened to two operas "The Wedding of Figaro" and "La Traviata".
We were on an excursion to the theater. The experience is unforgettable! They told the story, took them to the boxes and even showed the "inside out". And the guide Maxim just made our day! If you don't like opera or ballet, then after meeting him you will definitely want to attend the performance! I definitely recommend it!

A wonderful theater. We were at the performance of the ballet "Russian Hamlet". An evening performance. Most of the ladies were in beautiful evening dresses, which caught the eye compared to the audience visiting Moscow theaters.
We were very lucky to visit the Bolshoi Theatre, the opera The Marriage of Figaro. A luxurious theater, an interesting production, in which all the audience is involved.
A great place for cultural leisure. In addition to the performances, everything is perfectly equipped: two buffets, many wonderful interesting installations-photo zones. Everything is thought out and made for people. Cleanliness and order
A wonderful theater, modern and cozy. Preserved all the features of the original appearance. Wonderful and talented actors. The scenery is magical. You watch and get tremendous pleasure. Bravo to everyone who works in this theater. Only creative success!!!
As always, this place leaves a storm of emotions! The beauty of the theater is off the scale! The luxury of chandeliers and marble stairs is mesmerizing! The incomparable performance of the actors, including the unnamed ones. Director's work, an orchestra that will never allow themselves a "cock", costumes! I always enjoy this fabulous atmosphere. A buffet with incredibly delicious cuisine (the cakes are incomparable) for the lowest possible budget for such a place. And what kind of people: silence and delight, dresses and heels, politeness and tolerance for each other. I recommend it!
The main theater of the country, style, culture, the last time I was at the final concert "Choral Veche", delight! I am happy for the children who participate in such grandiose cultural events!
Cool theater! Tickets are not expensive, the staff are cool, kind people. The ballet Corsair performance is generally cool! We will definitely visit you on our next visit!!!!
We went on a tour of Belarus and took tickets to the Bolshoi Minsk Theater in advance. Some rave reviews! The hall, the foyer is shining! We watched the ballet Esmeralda. We had a lot of fun. The prices are sooo budget compared to Moscow theaters. We advise everyone!!
Ballet The Nutcracker. My son and parents liked it very much). Beautiful interior, friendly staff. Master Drosselmayer, an artist with a capital letter! A sea of charm! Masha is beautiful!!! All real professionals! The orchestra sounded amazing! Thank you for creating a festive mood!!!
I liked the theater and the content) I was on the Nutcracker. Beautiful costumes. A wonderful ballet. I'm not an expert, I don't know the subtleties. But I enjoyed the production.
