A must-visit. A modern, beautiful exhibition where you realize that three thousand years ago a caravan was walking through the desert.. and a thousand years ago there was a caravan, and five hundred years ago.... It's hard to imagine, given the modern development of technology, and it's fascinating. Very interesting. The staff is cool and pleasant to talk to.I highly recommend it.
The ancient building of the Russian-Chinese bank. Inside there are stunning restored interiors, mirrors, stucco. Unfortunately, the museum's exposition is dedicated to China and the Silk Road, it does not say a word about the building itself. But you can always find everything yourself on the Internet by searching for "Russian-Chinese Bank of Samarkand". I advise you to visit, it was a great pleasure
We were at the Silk Road exhibition. I don't know if it's permanent or temporary. There is no cash register inside, nor any prices. Maybe the entrance is free at all?) at the entrance, the girl simply named the amount. I offered to use shoe covers, and used ones! The interior is newly renovated. In our opinion, the exposition is absolutely boring and not interesting. It's just pictures hanging on the walls. Description in Uzbek and English.
They walked around in 10 minutes and left upset. There's not even anything to photograph.
According to the idea, it is clear that they wanted to do something modern and interactive, but nothing came of it.
