Very old buildings. Everything is beautifully done, highlighted in different colors. There are a lot of tourists and beautiful places for photos. There is a place to walk and plunge into history. There are many different souvenir shops and national clothes. You can buy handmade items. Do not forget to put the scissors in your luggage, they will not be allowed in your hand luggage and you will have to leave them at the airport.

The facility is good, the territory is very beautiful, there are cafes and restaurants to eat, there are artisan shops, some show how they create their masterpieces. The facility is new, opened in September 2022 during the SCO summit. There is also a rowing channel that creates coolness in the sultry summer. Of the cons (so far), I can single out that there is nothing to do there during the day, it is very hot and the sun is scorching, God forbid! In the evenings during the tourist season, actors in national clothes dance, many locals come, in general, life begins after sunset. Definitely recommend you to visit!

Here you can enjoy the typical architecture of the city, taste local cuisine in one of the many restaurants and buy various souvenirs (the price tag is higher than in Samarkand itself). You can come both in the afternoon and in the evening, it will be beautiful in different ways. There is a show program on weekends in the evening.

Everyone will like this place. A lot of interesting things. It's really a "city within a city." The architects recreated the eastern city in all its glory. They weave, they mint, they cook, they sell, you can see everything, you can go to all the workshops, you can talk to everyone, you can buy everything. At the same time, everything is new, modern, and clean everywhere. There are many cafes, restaurants, places to relax, and many beautiful places to take photos. This is a location that is definitely worth visiting while in Samarkand.

A new tourist attraction in Samarkand. The ancient oriental city is reproduced on the territory of the Silk Road complex right on the canal bank. Here you can wander through the narrow streets, sit in a teahouse, taste pilaf and oriental sweets, bargain at the bazaar, and choose souvenirs.
A replica, but the visitors of the city are strongly attracted.

Very atmospheric and cozy. There are places where you can take beautiful photos and make videos (I got great shots). But you need to take into account that there are too many people here during the season, if you are not a social phobe and the number of people does not bother you, feel free to come, I recommend visiting this place during sunset and at night!

This is my second time here, and it's still very interesting, new locations have been added, and cafes have opened. I really liked T-shirts with original finishes, inexpensive, the exact same ones in Moscow cost from six thousand rubles, and here the cost is 100 thousand soums, which is about one thousand rubles.

A large area where there is an "imitation" of the old city, something like a lunopark, singing fountains, a canal, hotels and a congress center where all high-ranking meetings take place (they got to the summit, the streets were blocked). The pseudo-old town is a very nice place, ideal for photography, because there is no one at all on a weekday afternoon, there are a couple of cafes (we were in March, maybe it's not the season yet). The singing fountains are removed from the "imitation" of the old town, they are 10-15 minutes away on foot along the canal, and they work only in the evening and in good weather. The place is a bit isolated, the taxi brings and picks up without any problems through the Yandex app. If you have free time, you can come for a couple of hours to take pictures, but it's not worth it, there are many places in the center of Samarkand where you can more authentically "kill time"

This place connects me with the vibe of the historical city, every year I come here for a couple of days to relax, stayed in several hotels for two years, and saw how different they are, in general they are all the best in terms of atmosphere and services, and an evening walk here gives you a sense of lightness and inspiration. It's a city within a city. The architects recreated the eastern city. In this ethno park you can find an oriental bazaar, craft workshops and several restaurants. A water park is being built nearby, and there is a small amusement park.
In the evening, you can see a musical fountain.
There are many trees planted around the eternal city, and a rowing canal runs nearby.
The complex was built in 2022, not all rooms have found their owners, I think in a few years it will be a center of attraction for both tourists and locals.

In April 2025, I visited the Eternal City in Samarkand, and this visit exceeded all my expectations. The spring sun softly illuminated historical monuments, giving them a special grandeur, and the air was filled with the aromas of blooming gardens.
Every corner of the Eternal City tells its own story, immersing in the atmosphere of antiquity and grandeur. Architectural details, mosaics and carvings – all this impresses with its beauty and grace. The views of the city from high points gave the feeling of a real fairy tale: the city seems frozen in time, retaining its unique charm.
I especially remember the good-natured welcome of the locals, their hospitality and sincerity. It was a real feast for the soul – a combination of rich heritage and the beauty of nature. Samarkand really wins the heart at first sight.

The Eternal City is unique in its concept. The first thing that surprises this place is a working light and music fountain.
The complex is very beautiful, sparsely populated ... there are many shops and shops with a variety of goods for the consumer and all of course for tourists.
