Your guest house is very clean and cozy, and most importantly not expensive. The sea is 10 minutes away, there are canteens and shops nearby. We had a family vacation in August 2024. Lyudmila will tell you everything, show you everything, send you on an excursion, and your wine is very very tasty, real if you buy it only from them. Thank you very much for everything.... A very cozy, well-equipped house in a quiet location. It's a 10-minute walk to the sea, and even closer to the market! The hosts are hospitable, kind, responsive; a clean courtyard, a summer kitchen where you can cook food and just sit and drink coffee . The room is equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed with a cool mattress. The hostess Lyudmila generously shares information about which excursions are more interesting, where it is more profitable to buy tea and spices. We went on an excursion, we didn't regret it!!! We looked at Lake Ritsa, New Athos, Milk Waterfall, New Athos caves (it's cool there, it was just fine in the heat). Special admiration and applause to the guide Bograt, because the tour with him was informative and exciting. The driver is aerobatics, not an ounce of fear and doubt in professionalism.
We sincerely thank you for a wonderful vacation in the land of the soul of Abkhazia and in your hospitable home, Dear Lyudmila and Israel! We recommend it, we already want to return.

Hello, everyone. We rested for the first time in Novaya Gagra. After reading the positive reviews, we ordered a room at the Valery guest house and regretted it.
Surprises were waiting for us at every turn. For 4 nights of stay, we were charged for 6 days. It turns out that everything depends on the fact that in this institution check-in at 14 o'clock and check-out at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. They couldn't prove anything. For using the kitchen, another 300 rubles, you can also buy the dishwashing liquid yourself. There is no balcony or terrace in the room.
Swimsuits were dried in the attic of the 4th floor, or there were several common ropes behind the house.
The beach is about a kilometer away, and the market is also more than a kilometer away.
The house territory is very small, almost everything is occupied by the house itself. The rooms are clean, quiet, beautiful furniture and chic tiles on the floor.
PS - on the way to the beach there are many areas overgrown with ragweed. In September and October, it just blooms and causes severe allergies.

I have been vacationing in this guest house for about 10 years, which I want to say here is clean, cozy, safe. The owners are sympathetic kind people, try to help everyone, solve all questions if anyone has any. They will always help with the choice of excursions. The rooms have everything you need air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, fresh furniture, good linen,clean bathrooms. There is a kitchen on each floor, anyone who wants can cook their own food. There are many cafes and canteens nearby where you can eat delicious food. It's not far to the sea, go along a flat concrete path without steep ascents. I read a couple of negative reviews, I was shocked: people, yes, the Empire hotel is nearby, if something does not suit you in this cozy house, go there, but there are other prices. I advised many of my friends to rest here and everyone was very happy. Thanks to Lyudmila and Israel for their kindness and attention to all vacationers, God grant them health and prosperity.

I want to warn everyone who would like to stay here! If you want to start your vacation with stress, then WELCOME to this DG!!!After reading the positive reviews (it is not clear who writes them?! ) we chose this city for a vacation in Gagra (we went to Abkhazia for the first time), booked a room and made an advance payment for 3 days in the amount of 8,250 rubles, but when we arrived, we were simply deceived!!!Instead of the room we booked, we were settled in some kind of bedbug with bars on the windows overlooking the terrace where people cook, there is no hood, children are screaming, tin! The curtains on the windows are torn off, the mattresses are stained, washed, the bed linen is synthetic!!! To our objections that the room was not the one we had booked, the hostess did not give a clear answer, she said that the photo was of a room that is her bedroom...And that we're too moody...and they don't have such rooms, and we just asked them to put us in a room that was thrown off to us from a photo, we were told that if we didn't like it, we could go look for another place to live! Of course, no refund of the prepayment!!! (Which they write about if you don't like something ...., and therefore they take a large prepayment, in normal cases alone, for a maximum of 2 days) The owners of this DG turned out to be just scammers and deceivers! When we began to demand a refund, such nice people, according to reviews, turned into real boors!!! They started yelling, throwing mud at us, swearing! It is not realistic to contact the police for help...OP is located in staraya Gagra, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sukhum, while you figure it out, the vacation will take place, this is what the owners are counting on, who are not afraid of anyone, they probably have everything paid for! Therefore, if you want to have a good rest, then not here! 100% deceived here!

Today we returned from the Velvet season in Abkhazia. My family and I have been vacationing with Lyudmila and Israel for several years. I like everything very much, thank you very much for your hospitality. Our room was on the 3rd floor, the room is clean, bright, air conditioning in each room, shower and toilet are also in the room, the room faced the courtyard. Every morning you can listen to the singing of birds, the chirping of cicadas, this is so lacking for the inhabitants of the metropolis. And the guest house is always full of people and many come here all the time. Near the house there is a dining room, a shop, not far from the bus stop, we often drove around the city and to neighboring cities ourselves. Also near the market, 12 minutes to the beach is not a quick step, there is a dolphinarium, a water park for children. Abkhazia is a very emotional place, if we still plan to go to Abkhazia, and we are already planning, then only to Lyudmila and Israel.

We had a rest in July 2023, I can't write a positive one. When we booked in the spring, the hostess said that everything was within walking distance of nothing detailed. Everything is far away. We lived on the third floor, there was no light for one day, the hostess did not even say that you can go down to the first floor there is gas. It is not even possible to fry fried eggs in frying pans!!!!!! The platenets are all greasy, it's just terrible. The cost is 4000 rubles per day for three people. It's not worth it. When I booked, I immediately said that we had a train in the evening. The hostess promised that she would not evict us at 12 o'clock, and at 11:30 a.m. we were on the street. Asked why? She is silent. Dear vacationers, look for another place closer to the sea, the market, focusing on the Ferris wheel.

We rested with Lyudmila and Israel many times, that year we even came 2 times. What they write about torn curtains, dirty towels, mattresses, lies! They always have very clean, nice rooms, cotton linens, new great mattresses and clean towels! To the sea at a quiet pace of 11 minutes, everything is close enough, market, shops, canteens and cafes. They are wonderful and kind people. For the first time, five years ago, we booked a room and made an advance payment, we couldn't come and Lyudmila just moved it to another year, although she didn't even know us, no other people did that. And they always go forward. Thank them for their warmth to people and cleanliness in the rooms! WiFi, bathroom, air conditioning, TV and refrigerator, everything is in the room! Our friends and acquaintances who go to Abkhazia also stay with them, and everyone is delighted!

The hotel is located near the railway station and the sea. The rooms are clean, cozy with amenities inside. There is a TV and a refrigerator. The hostess is friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of beautiful, well-groomed flowers in the courtyard and on the balconies. The kitchen is shared on the loggia. The kitchen has a beautiful view of the mountains.

Nice guest house. Good-natured hosts. Three adults were resting. Many were with children, but it did not interfere in any way. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned. Small disadvantages by number: there are not enough hooks and shelves in the bathroom for three. I would like to have another bedside table in the room. Everything is fine in the kitchen. Opposite, 5 meters away, there is a good inexpensive dining room with wonderful staff. The sea is 12-15 min. Walking is useful. And on the way back we went to the market. Convenient location. The owners can take you on excursions and book a transfer, which is very convenient.

I really enjoyed living with you.
We ordered another guest house, by the way, at the Booking office. Upon arrival, it turned out that the room that was booked was occupied. My husband quickly found this house, called the hostess. She accepted, made a discount.
Last year we stayed in September. Clean, cozy, decent guests, friendly hosts. They even took me on an excursion to the Ritz.. We cooked it ourselves. Kitchens on each floor.
