Good location. Friendly staff. Uzum market is the best online shopping platform in Uzbekistan where you can buy many products at reasonable prices. Requesting Uzum app developers to include English also in the available language options for the expats living in Tashkent.
I strongly do not recommend the Uzum marketplace
I have extremely negative impressions of working with this marketplace. One day I ordered a shelving for the house, but instead of the desired color, another one was brought. I immediately contacted support and already at this stage I ran into problems: the phone was unavailable at first, and the telegram was not answered
OK, a little later they replied that it would take 7 days to figure out why the error occurred. When I asked why it was impossible to issue a refund immediately, I was answered dryly: "You just can't. We need to do something, watch the cameras and so on."
During these 7 days there was no information — the support was silent. Although the operator on the line said that usually such issues are resolved within 2-3 days, so after a couple of days I wrote and reminded about the problem, but nothing
On the seventh day, I wrote again myself, and they promised to return within a day. Naturally, this did not happen. As a result, I waited a day while they "sorted it out". I wrote again, promised to return and did not return.
A day later, I wrote to support again and was told that they would need another 7 DAYS to solve my problems. The operator refused to answer the question "what was I waiting for before?"
It was only after I contacted the hotline again for a couple of hours that I was finally informed that I could return the goods, but only within three days and exclusively to the pick-up point. That is, I have to carry a rack weighing 7 kg to the pick-up point
The result is 10 days of waiting (despite the fact that the mistake was on the part of the marketplace), constant ignoring, incorrect communication from the support, which only intensified the negative. Instead of helping or at least apologizing, the staff behaved as coldly and indifferently as possible
Let's add to this an absolutely undeveloped system for working with orders and refunds, when one operator does not know who solves my question and we cannot tell the status when it is necessary to tell a new operator the details of my order every time, forward the same messages several times and add operators who simply close your appeal, because that they're probably tired of talking to you. Operators who communicate with you with scripts and who absolutely do not care about your problem - it's all about Uzum
After such an experience, I will never order anything on Uzum again and I do not advise anyone. If you value your nerves, avoid this marketplace. Now there are other alternatives, yes, with more delivery, but you will be sure that people will help you, and not work in case of an error
