It took a long time to choose a hotel returning from Istanbul. After reading the reviews, I chose the hotel only because of the owner, they did not regret what a good fellow, super responsive. And the hotel itself is some kind of special space, it's like every request responds there. Not here for those who are chasing perfection. The location is very convenient, market streets, embankment, 5 minutes to the center, there are shops and various cafes. The view from the window is amazing, it hasn't worked yet, I don't know if it's a pity or not, because I didn't have time to get used to the early 'yell)', (but when it echoes around the city it's fascinating)
Uzer Otel
In the very center of Trabzon, right on the Black Sea coast, opposite the main city mosque under construction, in an old renovated building there is a cozy chamber hotel Uzer Otel.
It has 2 stars, because it is a city hotel (13 rooms in total), but I would give the third, fourth, fifth and even sixth stars for its owner Ibrahim, an incredibly responsive and hospitable (as far as one can be in the modern world) person. But about him - a little later, let it be the cherry on the cake.
The first and most important thing is that the hotel employs friendly people who try to help in any matter. At first it seemed to me that this was a family, but no, this is such a friendly team, committed to a common cause. In principle, the first impression of the hotel is left by their sincere smiles, and not by the steep stairs to the 4th floor (where we were helped to lift our suitcases without our request)).
We rented a spacious triple room with a double bed and a sofa, overlooking the mosque
The room has the necessary minimum and, moreover, a fast Internet connection (30 Mbit/sec incoming and 5 - outgoing and it's on the 4th floor)
The rooms are stylish, the taste of the owner is felt (we were visiting his house) and fresh, a good hard orthopedic mattress, a place to work on a laptop, a lot of space in the bathroom (there is a whole shelf under the sink, yes, you will have to - oh, horror! - bending over for cosmetics and perfumes))
Breakfast is a separate song (although we do not eat meat), kalem böreği with cheese - you can lick your fingers, you can eat them forever... as well as delicious fried eggs, omelet with menemen cheese in a frying pan.
Since the hotel is located in the very center, everything is within walking distance. The former Russian market, where the shuttles from Sochi went, turns into a boulevard with shops from famous Turkish brands to local ones with leather goods that are not inferior to Italian craftsmen (except for the price)). These pearls should be looked for among the mass of consumer goods, but it's worth it...
I will not list the sights - there is a guidebook for this and Ibrahim, as well as the owner of a travel agency :) Look at the booklets, it's very beautiful here, fresh clean air and lots of greenery!
And coming back to Ibrahim, he is an incredible man. It's the cherry on the cake. We decided to stay in Trabzon and asked him to find us an apartment. We hardly understood what we wanted ourselves) We have no idea how it happened, but we are very grateful to Ibrahim for his participation in all our affairs! Thanks to him, we have found a new home!
We stayed at the hotel with my wife while traveling in Turkey. I liked the hotel according to the reviews, especially about the owner - Ibrahim - and the location in the very center of the city.
The design of the rooms is concise, without too much pathos, sea views, an excellent hard mattress, crisp bed linen, a hot shower and a kettle with a refrigerator - what else do you need when traveling? Oh yes, a light breakfast with the most delicious omelet in the world in a copper pan and strong tea :)
The owner of the hotel is hospitable in an oriental way, he will tell you everything, help you in everything and all the hotel staff tries to match his hospitality! We even changed our plans and extended the room, we liked living in this hotel so much, walking along the shopping streets and finding something new for ourselves every day... We will definitely come back here!
A wonderful hotel with a very convenient location! Not far from the highway to Georgia, but a little to the side, so it's not noisy. You can cross the highway over a pedestrian bridge to the sea, walk along the embankment, ride a scooter or even on a motorboat. Or just relax in one of the many cafes.
The room was very clean. The bottom hood of the shower was leaking water all over it. But the sprinkler on top was working fine. The air conditioning was also without problems. I left early before the deadline. The room was clean. The price was also affordable. Thanks.
The hotel is good, but I had to ask for bathrobes and a blanket, which was brought a blanket, one, for two, but the bathrobes were never brought, they said that they were not available now, with empty hotels)
Great location, cozy room, helpful host (he took us to the center and advised us where to go, but we spoke Turkish), good breakfast (everyone will find something to choose and you can ask to make an omelet).
After reading good reviews, we chose this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were in a slight shock... The room is small, hot water comes about 5 minutes after you turn on the hot water tap, it is very noisy in the room both from the proximity of the road and from the lack of complete sound insulation in the rooms. The room has not been cleaned in two days!!! The declared breakfast is very weak. But they didn't stay hungry!!!
A very hospitable host, Ibrahim, is passionate about retro cars. The translation is decided by the application. The rooms have everything. Clear. By the way, the sound insulation is good, On the contrary, a huge mosque will take place so far. It doesn't bother. Then it will be worse for the Russians.
