Utopia is a small private hotel in the very center of the historical city (old fortress).
Who wants to live among the old small streets and walk looking at the old buildings is very suitable, but there is a problem with the entrance of the car through these streets they will not pass, so you have to walk. It's very nice and cool to walk, but when you check in with luggage or leave, it's not pleasant to drag suitcases along the stone pavement to the taxi stop, especially when the rally championship is taking place and the center is closed to cars, I had to take the subway to the taxi stand, and then to the airport!
A magnificent hotel in the Old Town. The hotel is located within walking distance from all the sights of the Old City and the administrative and government buildings of Baku. There is a magnificent promenade and a park area near the hotel. A shuttle service takes guests from the airport to the hotel itself! The breakfasts are hearty. Towels are changed every day, and bathroom kits are replenished. Bottled water and tea accessories are also brought every day. All the staff is very attentive and friendly! It is very quiet at night, there are no noises from the street. We were at the hotel from September 19 to 26, 2024. I recommend the hotel!!!
The Utopia Hotel is located in the center of the old town, among the small streets! In a classic style, with a huge hall to the sky and a domed roof. A double terrace and a view of Baku allows you to enjoy this place.
Breakfast is worthy to go out in search of adventures and eat in the late afternoon.
The staff is as friendly as possible, two out of three speak Russian, the third speaks English.
The room is being cleaned from the heart!
If you go to Baku, then only here!
There was also a kitty next to the hotel. With kittens, she always had a bowl of milk and sweets next to her, another star just for that!
The location is great! But there is a little lack of service. Although in general everything is clean, everything is friendly, the food is monotonous, but it was not important for us.
The hotel is located in the heart of the old town. Quiet, comfortable, excellent unobtrusive service. I highly recommend it to anyone who came for tourist purposes.
Everything was terrible! We had a check-in at 4 a.m., no one met us, the phone was not picked up for a long time. The room is as dirty as possible - sticky stains on the floor, dirty walls, brown stains on the toilet. The bed is as hard as a rock. A spoiled vacation. Plus, we didn't want to stay in this place and the staff refused to refund our payment for the remaining days. Brought to tears.
The photo shows stains on the floor, dirty walls and stains on the toilet lid.

The hotel is located in a good location of Icheri Sheher, from there it is convenient and close to all the main attractions, about 10 minutes from the metro station. The hotel itself is stylized accordingly, which creates a very cozy atmosphere and enhances the flavor of the Old Town. There is a veranda on the roof, which offers magnificent views of Baku.
The hotel is clean, cleaned every day, very polite staff, always help and prompt.
The breakfasts are monotonous, but hearty and do not spoil the impression of staying at the hotel at all.
If you want to fully experience the atmosphere of Baku and enjoy walking around the Old City, I recommend it
Located in the very center of the Old (Inner) Baku, on a quiet street where only two people can pass. It's quiet if the cats and neighbors don't scream. The hotel is clean, but the room is not cleaned every day, for some reason. Breakfast is the same every day - dry ration + tea. But on the roof there is a panoramic view of the city and the sea. There is a table and chairs there.
I recommend. They understand Russian.
A wonderful hotel in the heart of Icheri Sheher. At first, we had to use the navigator to get to him, but then we got used to navigating. You can't get there by taxi, but it's a 5-7-minute walk to any exit from the Old Town. The staff is very friendly. Beautiful interior. Breakfast is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a little meager, but uncritical.
In the room there are slippers, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, some more jars, a toothbrush with paste, a shaving machine with shaving gel. Every day they give a couple of 0.33 bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar.
The only drawback is the lack of a refrigerator in the room.
The reviews below mentioned the terrace. The receptionist said they didn't have any terrace.
The sea is clear. the beaches are rather wild, for form's sake there is a rescue post and a medical center, there are no toilets, they let you into cafes only for money, and even dirty ones. The infrastructure is poorly developed, only expensive restaurants. There are no canteens, the shops are far away. It's inconvenient without a car. But the proximity and purity of the sea negates all the disadvantages. Environmental policy is not respected on the spit, they live in campsites, and motorbikes drive along the beach. There are not many people for the season, no need to look for a place to throw a towel, go either way along the beach.
the location is good, right in the old town, one of the disadvantages is that it is impossible to drive up to the hotel by car, but everything else is quite :)
