A gradually disappearing and crumbling building that has seen different people and different conditions in a very short time. It's still possible to appreciate how beautiful the estate was when it was being taken care of, so if you're thinking about going or not, definitely go.
The location is convenient — you can walk through the cadet school (along the alley), and through the path from the store on the other side.
What is important and definitely worth doing is to call Vasily Konstantinovich, whose number is on the fence. We arrived in a socially awkward company and accidentally got on his tour for other people. I don't think you would have called yourself, and that would have been the biggest omission.
We learned the whole history of the estate, from its construction to the present, paid special attention to the missing details of the estate, discussed other places in Baranovichi, which we visited afterwards.
After that, Vasily Konstantinovich also took us to a small museum on the territory of the cadet school, showed us photos and decorative elements he had saved for the museum, as well as the work of the guys who lived in this place after his retraining for children. It's nice to know that someone is so fondly and emotionally preserving the history of this place, continuing their research activities out of personal passion. As students of design and artists who often explore art objects, we were very impressed by this.
So you definitely need to combine business with pleasure here. Well, we are also grateful to Vasily for the way to the bus stop, a little story and pleasant conversations during it)
A very beautiful, atmospheric place.
I hope that this manor will be restored and preserved, it's worth it!
I recommend you to visit, you won't regret it. You can also take a walk in the old park next to the lake.
One of the most original and well-preserved manor houses in Belarus. A piece of the entrance alley, park and pond have also been preserved. There is a direct bus from Baranovichi bus station several times a day to Yastrembel, from the stop to the estate - a hundred meters. You need to go straight from the bus stop through the park, they don't let you through the cadet school anymore.
We got to the estate by chance, we were in the animal park nearby and then decided to go somewhere else and the choice fell on the Kotlubaev estate located nearby.
At the entrance to the estate, we saw the cadet corps, parked the car next to it and saw cadets cleaning the territory behind the fence. At first, the idea came to my mind that we would not be welcome here, somehow the everyday life of the cadets and the tourists who came from nowhere decided to explore the estate did not connect in my head into a single picture, but at their own risk they decided to go to her. Our expectations were not fulfilled by the word at all.
Surrounded by cadets, the teacher of this institution, Vasily Konstantinovich, attached a sign to a fence made of metal mesh about conducting excursions around the estate, in fact, he offered us to conduct an excursion, we naturally agreed. With his stories about the history of the estate, the history of the cadet corps, interesting facts and the lives of the people of this place, we just got lost for 2 hours. Vasily Konstantinovich narrated his story with such enthusiasm, admiration, not without a share of humor and sadness, with poems and photographs of these places. The cadets took us inside the ruined manor and also told us a lot of interesting things about their life and being in the cadet corps. We also went to the mini-museum of the cadet corps, where all the exhibits were collected and presented within the walls of this institution by our magnificent narrator.
Thanks to the cadets of the Brest Cadet School and special thanks to Vasily Konstantinovich for a great tour!!!

A beautiful manor with an interesting history! You can book a guided tour! I was lucky enough to meet this wonderful man by chance, who tells the story of this place with pleasure and great interest! For which I would like to thank him very much! I will definitely come again, but with a company and for a full-fledged tour!
It's a lovely mansion. I didn't try to climb over the fence, even though my hands itched. But in sunny spring weather, it is also good outside.
Who's rushing through the cadet school there - why?! There's a hundred-meter walk along the fence from the store at the entrance and you're at the manor. You don't have to ask anyone.
Five points for the beauty of the building and zero points for the condition of this beauty.
I really hope that in addition to the banal conservation, reconstruction work will be carried out before everything falls apart.
Kotlubaev Manor. The Kotlubaev family is of Tatar origin. The eclectic manor house was built in 1897 by Henrik Kotlubai. In 1911, the land was divided between his sons, Edward and Michal. The last owner of the estate was Sigmund Kotlubai. In 1939, he was arrested by the Soviet authorities, a year later he died in prison; the estate was looted. In the 1970s, a boarding school was built in the building. Since 1991, the estate has been in disrepair for a long time. In the 2010s, the building was conserved.
A gorgeous manor, my personal recommendations are to visit it.
If you like to visit abandoned buildings, then come here. The place is interesting, but the estate is fenced, and it will not be possible to get inside. But it's great to see everything with your own eyes, especially since there are several other interesting places nearby in the neighborhood.
The place is incredible! do not be afraid to pass through the territory of the cadet school — they will be happy to let you in) and if you find Vasily Konstantinovich, then unforgettable sensations and interesting facts are guaranteed to you! Just a delight! We spent 2-3 hours here
A wonderful atmospheric place. I recommend visiting Yastrembel for those who are interested in history. I would really like to hope that the estate will be put in order.
The manor is unusual, beautiful in architecture, but abandoned. However, it is fenced on all sides. There is a cadet school nearby. If it is restored, then for the same cadets it will turn out to be a great place for a museum.
It is a pity that it is not being restored, although the locals say that it has been redeemed.Local authorities should pay more attention to such places.and if they bought it, then they must restore it.
An interesting manor. You can take good atmospheric photos. However, the way to it lies by secret paths and it is fenced with a fence (in which there is a gap). If you restore it, you will get a very good place)
The manor is extraordinary in its architecture: the building is not a single geometric shape, but a variety of shapes that protrude from the facade, then drowning in it.
There is an abandoned factory not far from the building (according to some sources, it is brick). It is not marked on the maps, but it is difficult to get through - right at the entrance to the settlement.
It is located on the territory of the cadet school, but you can go in and see it without any problems. It is a pity that the inspection is possible only because of the fence. Since the passage is closed: private property and emergency condition
This manor is a must-visit! There is a sign on the fence with Vasily Konstantinovich's phone number, feel free to dial. You will plunge into the history of this wonderful place. The guide's story touched us to the soul.
I highly recommend it! I am very glad that I got there!
It's an interesting place, it's beautiful, it's a pity they don't keep track of it, everything is ruined inside, it's crumbling outside too, but it's interesting to visit
I rode a bike from Baranovichi
The manor house was built in 1897 (before that time the manor had been wooden for a long time) in the neoclassical style. The house is completely devoid of symmetry, but this, together with the 4-storey tower, which is a high-rise dominant, only emphasizes its harmony.
After the war, an orphanage was placed in the estate, the manor house inside was completely rebuilt. Later, new buildings were built for the orphanage and the old house was empty. Since 2010, the estate has the status of historical and cultural value of national significance. I have found information in various sources that in 2014 the house was bought by Russian businessman Andrei Senko, but restoration work has not been started. I also saw information that pupils of the cadet school, on the territory of which the estate is now located and even a museum is organized, take care of the house as much as possible, but I did not find any signs of this on the spot, and it is unlikely that such a burden can be borne by young cadets. We must return here in the autumn, during the riot of colors in the manor park.
Access to the building is free, there are many holes in the fence)
The building itself is boarded up, and there is nothing to do inside, the condition is deplorable, slowly falling apart
The manor itself is interesting, but the restoration has been delayed. And you can only see the boarded-up windows. The view of the house itself is interesting. But to go only to see an old shabby house, boarded-up windows, an uncut plot... Not worth it. Perhaps in the future the owner's hands will reach the estate. Or the hands of the executive committee will reach the person who received the estate for restoration for a song.
The manor is interesting, the only one of its kind. It is located on the territory of the cadet school, but you can go in and see it quite calmly. I don't know what's inside, everything is boarded up. The park has been preserved very partially, there is a pond nearby. On the grid that surrounds the estate, there is an announcement that a person will conduct a tour for free, for history lovers, and a phone number is indicated, it promises to be within 5-7 minutes. I recommend a visit.

Unfortunately, the historical heritage requires restoration, there is a lake nearby and the territory is full of old trees, if you come by, then you should stop by separately, you should not plan a trip here..
What a gorgeous manor! It was about 100 years ago. But the Soviet government, as well as the Belarusian one, will gladly finish off the emergency that the Germans did not destroy.
In any case, if you're around, be sure to visit what else you can see. Otherwise, in the future there will be only horns and legs, as in Kreva and Novogrudok
Looking at this half-dead, but very beautiful building, it is impossible to even imagine that just 20-30 years ago it had quite a decent appearance and could have been restored, if for this a couple of honest people who spent money on what they were allocated for. The most beautiful building in the Neo-Gothic style smoothly turns into a "kashtounas": "the jewel of the land (soil) of the state."
But there was also a drop of honey. We were incredibly lucky with the estate in Yastrembel. On the fence there was a modest sign "I will conduct a tour for those interested in history" with a phone number and the signature "call at any time, I will come within 5-7 minutes. Vasily Konstantinovich." Vasily Konstantinovich Lavrinovi is a wonderful storyteller who is in love with local lore and history. He has been retired for a long time, but still works as a teacher of additional education at a Cadet school. With his own hands, he creates a museum on the territory of the school. The first hall of the museum is dedicated to the history of Yastrembel and his estate: stucco from the walls and ceilings, balusters of balcony and stair railings, cuttings of the floorboard of those times (before the orphanage for WWII orphans appeared in the estate), a model of an ancient building (it was made by a graduate of a boarding school (also part of the history of the estate), the coat of arms of the Kotlubaev family and 100,500 photographs from various archives, collected bit by bit by Vasily Konstantinovich. The second hall is already the history of the boarding school. But the exhibits there are no less interesting: the photography room (developers, baths, glossers.. ), the bed of the pupils and some things, a book of records of arriving and departing children, bugles, banners and a pioneer uniform (the uniform of the senior counselor and the awards on it are the personal belongings of our guide), a desk with real ink and fountain pens ...
But most importantly, the irrepressible energy of this man. I wanted to listen to him endlessly. Take your time, go there and be sure to dial the desired number
An atmospheric place, a very interesting building. It is incredibly sad to see how much it has already been destroyed and is likely to continue to collapse. The condition is deplorable.. I do not know how long it will stand (((( It is located on the territory of the Cadet School and it seems that it is not even noticed... How many times we drive around the Republic of Belarus, all the buildings with signs of Historical and cultural value are in a disgusting state! They have been standing for decades, useless to anyone and waiting for their destruction.. Guys, I advise you to go, it's not known how long it will last, then there will be nothing to look at. It is 15 km from Baranovich, mainly in villages.
The building of the manor looks pretty shabby — it had a lot of trials. Vasily Lavrinovich, an employee of the school, told us about this. He has been living and working in this place for many years, and he will tell an interesting story with pleasure and knowledge.
Here is what Wikipedia will not write about:
● in 1950, Stalin personally signed a document on the opening of a boarding school in the estate: the decision that the local head of the district had to make was signed by the Supreme Commander himself;
● orphans from the DPRK, who were expected here in the 50th year, passed by due to dysentery that started on the train, and eventually ended up in Prague;
● in the "dashing" 90s, they tried to restore the estate several times, but everything ended either with "cutting" money, or sloppiness, or a natural disaster;
● The estate has reached its current state in just the last 20 years
● for 150 years, huge trees have grown on the territory of the estate — some of them exceed 1.5 meters in diameter
Very beautiful. But it's very neglected. Fenced off. Private property

It is very sad to see abandoned, crumbling objects. We went with a child, an unforgettable history lesson. Thanks to Vasily Konstantinovich for the tour.

It's very beautiful, but it would be better if you could go inside.
A very beautiful manor! However, it is gradually being destroyed.... It is currently in conservation. The territory is fenced, it is impossible to get inside
The estate is on the territory of the cadet school, I do not understand why it was impossible to restore and make a museum here, and it would be interesting for children and they would receive a penny. The estate is in disrepair, there are nettles and a fence around, but it has not lost its beauty yet
