Sri Lanka's railways are a separate kind of exotic, because riding a retro train through places of incredible beauty is very cool!!!

An ordinary Sri Lankan railway station. There are benches to sit on. Ticket sales start around 7 a.m. The cashier, who also looks after the station, explained in detail and adequately to us where to get on, where is the class of the car and where you can buy tickets and transfer to first class. Sometimes peacocks come, monkeys run along the wires through the railway.
