Ulan Danu Pagoda is located near Lake Bratan. Very often in this region it is foggy, cloudy and there are short-term rains, even when it is clear all over the island, the weather is wonderful and the sun is shining brightly. Ulan Danu Pagoda is a very famous and visited by a large number of tourists attraction. Our family's opinion of this place is divided. Personally, it didn't make a big impression on me. We drove to the pagoda after visiting the rice terraces and the Tanah Lot Temple. Of all the locations on this day, the Oolong Danu Pagoda made the least impression. I would not advise you to go on purpose.

The first stop is Bratan Lake and the Oolong Danu Temple located on it.
The Oolong Danu Temple was built in 1633 and is used for sacrifices in honor of the goddess of water, rivers and lakes Devi Danu.
On the territory of the complex there is an 11-tiered tower dedicated to the god Shiva and his wife Parvati.
In Bali, you can see 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 tiered temples, depending on which gods they are dedicated to.
The temple also houses a Buddha statue and a stupa.
The place is very beautiful, but there are a lot of tourists.

It's just an oasis in Bali. You are amazed at how different the weather is in Bali! It's windy, cool, and cloudy here. The beauty is indescribable! After the pandemic, the territories were equipped for tourists. It has become much more civilized than it was. Entrance is paid. The most important temple to the Goddess of Water is located on this lake. Ceremonies are taking place. A must-visit!!!

It seems beautiful , the temple , the lake and then the photo zones are not clear , cartoon characters, a playground , the temple becomes part of this "random" park and somehow you forget why you came here , either to look at the temple , or to take a picture with a dinosaur :(
