I came across plasmolifting not at all from the cosmetological side, so I want to tell you how it is used in gynecology.
My story began quite banally with cervical erosion, I think most people are familiar with such a disaster. It doesn't seem to bother you much, but sometimes it reminds you of yourself. I had unpleasant painful sensations in the lower abdomen, and sometimes I bled, in addition to critical days. I applied to a paid medical center, and since I had not given birth yet, I was offered a gentle treatment – plasmolifting.
The course of treatment consists of four weekly procedures. As with standard plasmolifting, a certain amount of blood is taken from the vein and plasma is isolated. Then, using a small syringe, it is gradually injected into the neck along with the medicine.
The doctor said that the procedure is painless. The first time, I really didn't even feel anything, but the second time was very different from the first. When the medicine was administered, I already began to feel some unpleasant tingling in the lower abdomen, but the pain is tolerable. The third and fourth times went pretty smoothly, there was no pain, it just probably left a residue after the second time.
After the procedure, a tampon with the medicine remains for about a day, that is, the next day after the procedure it needs to be pulled out. You can do this yourself, without the help of a doctor. He doesn't bother going to the toilet. Sexual activity with this type of treatment is not prohibited, but only limited for a couple of days after the procedure.
Before and after the course of treatment, I had a colposcopy, and I could see the result of these procedures myself. The area of the mucous membrane affected by erosion has actually decreased, which is good news. Although I was already glad that the pain passed and stopped bleeding during exertion.
