During the tour, my family and I visited the Qasr al Watan Presidential Palace - a huge complex with fountains, gardens, spacious squares and beautiful buildings. Inside there are luxurious and rich interiors, beautiful large chandeliers. The palace has a meeting room, a place for eating, as well as a presidential library. Such beauty is pleasant to look at, so I advise you to visit.
A great palace, there are many interesting rooms and artifacts inside. The territory is well maintained, but not everywhere you can walk. It is worth noting that the palace is also an active palace for meeting high-ranking officials of the state, so it is worth clarifying your visit with the site. Tickets can be bought on the spot, there is parking in front of the palace, a bus takes you inside.
It's amazing!
An incredibly beautiful place in Abu Dhabi is a must-visit.
Luxury and scale. White marble, mosaics, interesting halls with gifts for the president, a meeting room, a dining room where dinner parties are held, a library. There is a cafe and a gift shop at the exit.
A very beautiful palace! Interesting interior and furniture selection! Huge chandeliers! A huge library! Meeting rooms with huge screens! In general, the view is magnificent! I recommend visiting this palace!
It is very interesting to visit the palace, look at the library, gifts for the sheikh and generally plunge into the atmosphere. Please note that there is a dress code for visitors, closed shoes, clothes covering knees and hands for both men and women
I recently visited the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi and was amazed by its beauty and grandeur. The palace is located on the shores of the Persian Gulf and is the residence of the President of the UAE.
The palace is built of white marble and has several floors. Inside the palace there are luxurious halls decorated with gold and precious stones. The palace also has several pools and gardens where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
There is a large area around the palace where you can walk and enjoy nature. There is also a museum near the palace where you can learn more about the history of the UAE.
The staff of the palace were very polite and ready to help me with any questions. I would recommend visiting this palace to anyone interested in the history and culture of the UAE.
Expensive is rich. It's insanely beautiful. After passing the security check, they are taken by bus to the entrance. The ground floor is open to tourists. There's not much to see: a gift room, a dining area, and that's it. Souvenirs are very expensive. There is a dining room, good toilets
A beautiful palace. It is definitely worth visiting. Very powerful, large-scale, beautiful inside and out. The gift room is especially interesting. I advise you to take pictures of the inscriptions to the photo or video, so that you do not forget what belongs to what, since there is no information about these gifts on the Internet.
A very beautiful palace.
Not residential, used only for official ceremonies and for tourists.
The place is rich, after a while the eye is blurred by the amount of gold and ceases to perceive and admire.
1 hour is enough to inspect the palace with your head - despite the large number of rooms, there is not much to look at.
There are 2 entrances - for those who bought tickets online and those who did not, then the queues are combined into one. In my case, the "Internet" queue was much larger and I was glad that I had not bought tickets earlier.
The area is very beautiful. Everything is well organized for tourists, the main thing is to get in line in time for a huge group of tourists. But in general, the queue is moving pretty fast :) The tour inside the palace is worth it 😊
I recommend visiting closer to closing, because at 20.00 a light program begins, which shows the history of the formation of the UAE, their present and future. Very interesting.
The Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi is the epitome of the greatness and historical heritage of the United Arab Emirates.
The Presidential Palace , later called the Palais des Nations .
The entrance ticket is 70 darham for adults and 30 for children. (data for February 2024)
Depending on how lucky you are, there is a long queue, but it goes fast, we arrived in the afternoon. Strict control at the entrance, therefore, it is better to leave water and dubious, sharp objects at home / hotel prudently before hiking.
After control, you go into tourist buses, cool, I can't say otherwise, comfortable chairs, with sockets, and a pleasant smell of the cabin, the driver in a boiling white shirt and gloves, already from the entrance you get into luxury, you will drive for about five minutes through a well-groomed beautiful territory with fountains and beautiful plants.
You will be dropped off near the palace and you can additionally walk around the palace with an excursion (but you need to book an excursion when you buy tickets at the business center), or you can do it yourself! We went to survey on our own.
Huge (just huge) doors at the entrance (in my opinion they got into the Guinness Book of Records) and you get into incredible splendor and luxury, except for wow, all words cannot describe the grandeur and splendor of the wealth of the palace.
The color scheme is in delicate gray-blue, gold, silver tones and shades.
I must say right away that the sheikh himself or his entourage does not live in the palace, meetings, summits and public events are held.
There are several halls in the palace: a conference room with a huge chandelier, worthy of a separate description, eight floors high and a separate person who serves it and changes the light bulbs, a dining room for festive dinners - beautifully served with silverware and dishes, there is a gift hall where various gifts from governments and countries are presented, there is a library with books and a golden sphere with Arabic script .
Many people take pictures here, you can order a photographer.
The golden sphere (I wrote about it separately in the Qasr Al Watan section) is not just made of beautiful patterns, these are calligraphically designed statements by the creator of the country of the Emirates, former President Sheikh Zayed.
The golden sculpture "The Power of Words" of the Qasr Al-Watan Palace (the Palace of Nations, as the name was given) impresses not only with its huge size, but also with the meaning embedded in this work: "Wealth is not money or oil; wealth is in people, and it is useless if it is not dedicated to serving people." Well said , wisely !
Vivid impressions of visiting the palace!
And as you know, it's all great when you see with your own eyes and pass through your feelings.
If you plan to be in Abu Dhabi, be sure to make time to visit.
There is another nuance when placing the palace, you can combine and visit the azure show, starting at 19:00 hours, the show takes place on the central square of the Palais des Nations, about 15-20 minutes in time, and if you arrive in the afternoon, around 16 o'clock, you will have time to see the palace, take pictures, drink coffee or have a snack in a cafe, enjoy the sunset and watch an interesting information show dedicated to the formation of the UAE - past, present and future, the show is accompanied by music.
I wish you bright emotions and informative moments!
After the show, everyone will be put on buses and taken to the main entrance, where a whole regiment of taxis will be waiting for you, lined up in two rows. It will actively pick up and deliver to your addresses.
There will be a beautiful illumination of the palace and the territory, as if you have visited the fairy tale of Shahrezada.
And I will be grateful for yours 👍
A very beautiful entourage structure! There is a large area around. There is a security check at the entrance, clothes must be according to the dress code, knees and hands are closed. Inside there is a huge beautifully decorated hall with sayings of Sheikh Zayed, you can visit the library, dining room, conference room, toilets, gift room with a large number of exhibits. I recommend you to visit, to get acquainted with the Arabian fairy-tale reality!
Tickets cost $40 for two. First, a security check, as at the airport, then a short wait and you will be put on a bus and taken to the entrance to the palace. Snow-white, luxurious, like Aladdin's fairy-tale castle. There are palm trees and fountains around, spacious halls inside, soaring ceilings, gold and marble, splendor and refined taste everywhere😍
In the halls of the palace there are expositions of manuscripts and memorable gifts to the sheikh from the heads of various states. An amazing place, a must-visit💯
Impressive view, spaciousness, cleanliness, greenery. Inside, the palace also impressed with its scale. I had a self-examination, so the examination did not take much time. If you go to Abu Dhabi, then it's worth seeing. Ticket price in apelea 24 - 70 dirhams
The interiors are very pleasing to the eye. All the decorations inside and outside are monitored at the highest level) Comfortable buses are available on site.
Of the disadvantages, the only thing is that not every hall can be viewed, and on some signs only Arabic is spoken
It is very beautiful, impresses with its luxury and beauty, there are many expositions and exhibits, there is something to see besides the palace itself, a cool landscape has been created around the palace
It's worth watching once. To walk around the territory in front of the palace, to see the scale inside is large and expensive, to take beautiful photos - there is nothing else to do. In general, you can go on an excursion once, but if you don't go, it's okay)
It was a wonderful trip. We visited the Palace on our own. We took a city bus and bought tickets at the ticket office. Then you are checked separately. Then everyone gets on buses and is taken to the entrance to the central square of the Palace. We walked around all the places where we could look without any problems. The beauty and scale are amazing, an oriental fairy tale. And be sure to visit the evening shows. It was magical, a tale of a Thousand and One nights how the Emirates appeared and the story to this day.
A dazzling luxury worthy of a king! One of the places that is a must-visit to understand how the sheikhs lived and live.
The area of this palace is the size of a football field, the height is even difficult to say... The scale of the palace is breathtaking. The palace is surrounded by a gorgeous garden with fountains. A very majestic place!
This is a wonderful palace, starting from the entrance itself and ending with a performance at the palace itself. Inside there is a beautiful interior, many rooms (library, dining room, talk room, gift room). I wish everyone to visit such a beautiful place 🤗
A place like this must be visited, the beauty cannot be expressed in words, so the most important thing is that the palace is operational, not a museum. One tip is to wear sunglasses, the palace is dazzlingly white.
This is a place that smells of luxury and wealth. The scale is amazing. It's very beautiful) They take a bus from the entrance to the palace, there is a strict dress code for women, shoulders and knees are closed, if they are open, they will not let them through, they will give the head of the room either a wide scarf or a skirt to tie. They don't ask you to cover your head.
I advise you to visit
It was something unreal. I felt great delight from visiting the palace, from the materials, scope, quality and luxury. I also advise you to watch the night laser show. There should be such places in every country!
Of the advantages:
- new
- it is fashionable to buy a monopoly, a case for a chemonat, a soldier at the exit :)
- if you have not been anywhere before, you will be amazed.
Of the cons
- there is absolutely nothing to see: it carries neither architecture nor historical value.
- wasted time and money.
- it's not clear what you might like there.
Bottom line: it's better to spend time by the pool.
It's a very beautiful place. The entrance is certainly expensive. We were with a friend. I didn't understand why I was called to a separate room for inspection. She was wearing a long dress with long sleeves. Maybe they thought she hid the cigarettes there. Strictly with this. But this did not overshadow the walk. The photos turned out to be cool)))
A wonderful place and very interesting. Do not forget to cover your shoulders and chest, this is being monitored.
Otherwise, it is a very beautiful place, reflecting the oriental beauty and grandeur 😍
An extraordinarily beautiful place. Some kind of explosion of emotions. The city residence of the President of the UAE. I highly recommend visiting this place. Photos will tell you better than me
A huge palace of incredible beauty, a large well-groomed territory. A very beautiful place. At the entrance, they check for the absence of piercing-cutting, etc. Modest clothes are not translucent, covered knees and shoulders
The palace is striking at first glance, the territory is huge, such that buses carry buses from the entrance to the palace. The current residence of the President of the UAE. Everything is expensive, rich, very beautiful. Definitely to visit in the first place
A great place for tourists who want to visit places with unusual architecture. The internal luxury of the presidential palace is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. It is best to get to the palace by taxi.
The palace is beautiful, impressive in scale, but it has remained unclear to me ... why? The idea does not take root in my head that anyone can enter the real meeting room of the parliament (even if it is not so important in this country) and so on, so the impression is "beautiful, but I don't believe". I do not impose an impression🙌🏼 reviews are always subjective😉
The place is beautiful, but the guides do not warn that there is a very strict dress code and a pass system, queues for 1.5 hours. If you are with children, you should not go. In the heat, stand for an hour to enter, then control, then wait for the bus to get to the palace. It takes 15 minutes and back.
It is expensive and rich , surrounded by gold and beautiful ornaments. It's very good that you can get into the hall where history is being made, touch the creations
Rich decoration, everything is gilded (even the toilets!) If the tour is conducted by a professional guide, it is doubly interesting!
At the entrance, the inspections are about the same as at the airport (the guide warned us - they left everything superfluous on the bus!)
