The best barbecue in New Athos! We went to this place almost every day, sometimes for lunch and dinner. Juicy soft pork kebab, juicy tender chicken fillet, delicious trout, wonderful khinkali and khachapuri, even homemade delicious soups. It was not scary to feed a child with such food. The portions are large. Sincere hosts who always greet you with a smile, a warm atmosphere. They also have delicious vanilla ice cream in a cone at the entrance. The only thing missing was a beer plate, we hope that one day it will appear on the menu. We definitely recommend visiting this institution! Very tasty!

We have been vacationing in New Athos since 2014, and we always dine only in this cafe, with these wonderful and hospitable people Daura and Angela. If you want to eat delicious shish kebab and trout fish, then you only need to go to this cafe.Believe me, we have tried a lot of kebabs and fish, but what Daur will cook for you, you will remember for the rest of your life. And most importantly, you will be greeted with a smile, with warmth, they will always come to your table and ask : "is everything okay?"On my own, I want to add: buy adjika (home) only from them, it is very tasty, and Angela also cooks a very tasty achma (a large portion, not what others sell for this price), in short, guys who will eat in New Athos, I advise you:go to Daura, you will not regret it, believe me!!!

We decided to visit this place based on the reviews and rating of the institution. We took the barbecue with us, cooked it quickly, the price is pleasant, even the taste is not bad, but...at night, my husband's temperature rose to 39, accompanied by vomiting, and I showed signs of poisoning in the morning with severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. The place looks very shabby, the cleanliness in the kitchen is questionable. In general, rave reviews do not give any guarantees. The last day on vacation was ruined. I also had a 16-hour drive home feeling unwell.

The cafe is called "Eucalyptus at Daura". After reviewing the reviews, we visited this place solely for the purpose of tasting barbecue. They took pork. It is cooked perfectly. Really - very tasty. Served directly on skewers. Classic. Chicken soup is also good. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed in the establishment. The sight of citizens smoking cigarettes slightly spoiled their appetite. But the cafe is open, well ventilated.

We asked the hostess of our house where it is better to eat shish kebab in Athos. She sent us here and our expectations were fully met. The kebab is just a miracle, a huge skewer of juicy pieces. It costs 300 rubles, everywhere 400-450. Good-natured hosts. I advise everyone.

In fact - more / less of course.
But it was cold outside, they brought ice compote. We asked to heat it up, for example, in a microwave oven or add some hot water. We were refused.
I had to order tea.
The waiter advised to order mutton pulp for 600 + rubles, in fact, the pulp was mostly bones.
The feelings remained so-so from the visit.

Many establishments have been bypassed in New Athos, everywhere it is either expensive, or tasteless, or expensive and tasteless. We passed by the Eucalyptus tree at Daura several times, the view of the institution was repulsive, and as it turned out in vain. The setting is really simple, but the food is beyond praise at one of the lowest price tags in New Athos (in July 2022, chicken kebab 250 rubles, pork 300 rubles, portions are normal). It's a pity that we didn't come here earlier. For the rest of the vacation, we had lunch and dinner only at Daura's.

There was no chicken kebab, we ordered pork for 350 rubles, as well as trout for 400 rubles. The waiting time is 30 minutes. It is impossible to stay in the cafe, the music of ala "Chanson" is screaming, the atmosphere is very simple. The barbecue was a success , the meat was tender , not rubbery , I liked the fish less, the skin was burnt and bitter .
