We ordered 3 dishes: 7 hinkalies for me, dolma for my female companion and 2 sets of tea.
First, my cup for tea was not clean and has a long thick black hair at the bottom. Okay, I asked to change it. No apology from them.
Second, they brought 5 hinkalies instead of 7 and only 1 out of 2 sets of tea. I sensed a lot of wrongs already and did not correct them there. In the check they counted only what thay served - okay(ish).
The worst part. It took them "only" 10 minutes to serve me my hinkalies (a simple dish), but it took them 40 (!) minutes to serve my companion the dolma - which is a very simple pre-cooked dish. By that time they already have served some other (male) customers that came and ordered after we did. Neither a warning that it may take long to cook (it should not), nor an apology was given after the wait. Moreover, they were "surprised" when I asked to re-heat hinkalies after 30 minutes while I, of cause, waited for my friend to have something to eat.
I have a strong sense they don't care or even ignore women.
PS: food was okay-ish. Too salty and too peppery, but not beyond limit. It is difficult to screw one sort of minced meat. Prices were on the level, so I see no "excuse" for mediocre food and disgusting service.
I really liked the cafe
We were there for 3 days in a row
Last time, they didn't even add 10% for the service for some reason
The prices are super nice
You can have a delicious and budget meal for 2
The food is all delicious, the portions are large
Both tourists and locals come here
The staff is very polite
The only thing I didn't like was the girl who was managing it, apparently
He does not smile at all and constantly looks and "stands over his soul"
I advise chicken soup, chicken kebab, chicken kebab (1000 drams in total), van salad, Caesar salad and super delicious rice
We ordered a shavel salad, kebabs and sauces - everything is very tasty. National cuisine is a feature of this institution. I highly recommend meat and national cuisine to gourmets. We will definitely come here more than once.
Today we ordered dolma, kebabs and tabouleh - just delicious. Perhaps the best place where you can taste national dishes tasty and with an appetite.
I add - the most delicious Dolma in Yerevan!!!
One of the best establishments in Yerevan in terms of price-quality ratio, availability, speed of cooking and drinks.
The portions are decent, you will not stay hungry.
There are two floors in the establishment, tips are not included in the bill on the second floor.
You can smoke without going outside.
The staff is very polite, everyone speaks Russian, and they can help you choose food and drinks.
For four campaigns, there has never been a reason for discontent, everything is fine.
I recommend fried khinkali and solyanka on my own)
A great cozy place with attentive service. Everything we tried was delicious. I really liked the salad with sorrel and parda (lamb liver kebab). The catfish kebab was tender and juicy, maybe a little salty. The sweet sauce fixed it perfectly. Resume - I recommend it.
Very tasty shish kebab, tzhvzhik divine, there is a very inexpensive and delicious pomegranate wine, delicious tolma, the whole family was there twice, once they celebrated a birthday, it turned out very luxurious and not expensive.
The location is great.
The view from the windows of the second floor is beautiful.
The food is delicious, everything we took was very pleasant.
But there is one thing. When paying, the waiters always said that tips were not included in the bill, but we Russians know how to use a translator 🙈
It's not very pleasant to be deceived.
In general, I highly recommend it!
The food is delicious, except for the cheese balls (they brought cold ones with suluguni??). And for the rest, there are a lot of questions - the prices on the menu do not match the prices in the receipt after (it was indicated in the menu that the dolma costs 2400, in the receipt 2600 / Lamb Ikibir in the menu 1350, in the receipt 1500). Also, we paid with a card and at first we were not given a check for positions and immediately offered to attach a card for the amount that was expected to be higher. We asked for a detailed receipt. And it turned out that we were immediately included in the debit in the terminal for a tip of 1000 drams (past 10% for service - yes, this is not tea in Armenia). We already planned to leave a tip (again, not because the waiter worked well - the meat that we ordered stood on the bar counter for another 5 minutes before it was brought to us, and the waiter was just chatting with other waiters at that time), but as a rule good manners for us, but after that, of course, the desire has decreased.
As a result, we ate well, but the service is 10 out of 10.
A good place, a rich menu and reasonable prices. Caesar salad is just from God. Meat, soups and kebab lula. Delicious compotes . homemade semi-sweet red wine fire. Attentive staff. I recommend
The magnificent taste of the uniquely wonderful Armenian national cuisine will not leave anyone indifferent!
All the delights of food for a true gourmet to achieve gastronomic and culinary ecstasy are here!
Delicious, inexpensive food, pleasant service. It is popular, so there are not always available seats. You can order a takeaway. I can recommend visiting this institution.
There are no complaints about the restaurant's cuisine, everything is very tasty and satisfying! But with tips, everything is as described in most comments: they're already included in the bill, but for some reason they're asking you for more, I didn't have any cash, so the waiter just shrugged and left.
A worthy place. If this is the first time you don't know what and how - come here, it will be cheap, and everything is fine with the map (correct for the World if I'm wrong). I came at 22.40 (and they close at 23 00): nothing, we fed them, they cooked them, they were really tasty and Armenian. In short, I recommend it. Especially if you are Russian.
A very tasty salad with arugula, a serving for three, the meat is a little dry for my taste! Overall a great place, I recommend it! Friendly service, thank you
A delicious and pleasant place. Prices are acceptable) without pathos. The waiting time for serving dishes varies from 5 to 15 minutes, the products are all fresh, the portions are huge, and very tasty. We personally returned several times during the trip
It's a good place. A lot of local people - which is also an assessment. The dishes are large, the serving is fast enough, the prices are reasonable. We have eaten here many times - we liked everything. I especially recommend Caesar (which is unexpected for the format of this institution), parda and roast.
We have been in Yerevan for only 3 days. Naturally, we were looking for a place where you can eat delicious and not prohibitively expensive. They came to this restaurant with a high rating. We did not regret it, but we decided not to repeat this experience for ourselves. Not an amiable waiter, they asked not to be located on the ground floor (I wonder why). And the same story with the 10% in the bill, which was called a tax and a very insistent offer to leave a tip. There was no desire to leave tips in excess of those indicated in the bill. The food is normal, I was not impressed by anything, the order of serving is strange. Dolma was served very last and with a long delay, despite the fact that the next table, which came later, was brought earlier. And I didn't like the cheese balls - they were very big and the cheese inside was icy.
Delicious food, but very long service. They sat me down at a table, gave me a menu and couldn't catch the waiter for 15 minutes. At the same time, as in all establishments of the country, 10% of the bill is charged for the service. They do not warn you about stopping at some positions. As a result, there was no barbecue that they wanted to try according to good reviews. They took a fresh salad with the barbecue and wanted to cancel it, but it turned out that it was impossible, although 3 minutes had passed after accepting the order... the price tag is average. The soup was delicious, the matnakash is fresh. Khinkali is juicy. The location is convenient in principle. It takes 10-15 minutes from the bus stop, along the way you can see a small square and a church.
Without pathos, but very tasty, large portions (a "bucket" of Caesar salad was brought), a good price tag. I recommend it for those who want delicious Armenian food
For food in general +-, the check spoils the impression of dinner: the check includes a cash fee (10%), while the waiter very insistently demands a 10% tip plus. At the same time, he stands over his soul, hurries. Recalculating the bill, an even amount of 33700 rubles was obtained, while the waiter demanded 37,000. For food "3", for service "0". It's a pity, we ruined the impression of a beautiful and hospitable country.
I went in for a quick snack after the planes. It doesn't seem to be the last time. There is a shish kebab and khinkali and they cooked breakfast for me with a wonderful fresh salad

We ordered a burger, sooo hearty and delicious. Russian Russian is convenient for the staff to know and the menu is in Russian. Affordable prices, air conditioning. Many thanks to waiter Vagan.I recommend you to visit.
I thought it was a shawarma restaurant, but it turned out to be a pleasant restaurant. The service is pleasant, the food is sooo delicious. If you are in Yerevan, you will not regret it.
The kitchen is not bad, it's not bad to have a snack for such a price for such a level.
There is no service, the attitude is as if I owed them money. They only came to the table to take the order and that was it. The table was packed with empty bottles and plates. Not to mention the tips, which were just taken from the change themselves.
I'm not speaking for the whole institution, but because of one person, I don't want to ever come there again and I don't advise it.
An institution where the waiter can set any price for a dish. Yesterday 1500 for a barbecue, tomorrow it's already 2000. They don't bring the check at the end, but just ask you to pay in cash. They require payment of a tip for the waiter in the amount of 10% of the total cost. I do not recommend visiting
In general, it's not bad, chicken and meat soups are normal, veal was poorly chewed, dry and tough. Draft beer is delicious. BUT! DECEPTION of visitors who do not know the local language, apparently, is the norm. They brought a check in Armenian, at the end of the check it costs 10%, when asked what 10% is, the waiter replied: "this is the tax of the restaurant, this is not service, pay for my services separately." As it turned out, he cheated, and despite the fact that we gave 1000 drams over the bill, he was very dissatisfied.
So be vigilant, or look for another, more customer-oriented place!
The food is delicious, cheese balls with suluguni are a joke(not funny) and the sauce of 1000 islands is just mayonnaise and ketchup, the staff is questionable, tips are required no matter what (service fee 10% + tip 10%, so do not confuse)
Khorovac is delicious, but the waiter on the second floor defiantly serves poorly and refused to accept payment by card (visa), the fiscal receipt did not punch. Delicious food spoiled by the service.
I don't recommend it!
The dishes were dirty, there were bones in the dolma, and the barbecue was very dry
I was led by good reviews, but the price and quality absolutely do not match!
It is very tasty, very satisfying, the most friendly and courteous staff, a clean, quiet place with a wonderful view of the church. I definitely recommend a visit. Tabula is just flying away.
A wonderful place, very tasty food, fresh, hot, with the heat of the heat)))you can take it out, they cook with you on an open professional barbecue. Thank you.

They cook very well. We had lunch here for three days. And all the dishes from soup to tea are five points. No tourist above12 stood nearby. In Russia, I have only been to a restaurant once, where everything is also 5 points, without exceptions. And of course the service is excellent. Thank you very much.
We visited this institution, took shish kebab, caesar, khinkali. The food is delicious, but one thing confused me: the bill shows a service fee of 10% and the waiter took 1000 drams from above, of course no one included this 1000 in the bill. That is, in fact, we ate for 8,500, and paid 10,350. To me, it smells like cheating Russian tourists who do not understand the bill, since it is written in Armenian. We will be in Yerevan for another 4 days, but we will not return here, as the impression of delicious food is then overshadowed by a sense of deception.
We ordered two portions of lamb kebab, fresh salad, juice and fried potatoes.
The kebab is juicy, moderately salty, but the meat is not chewed at all (whether the raw materials are bad or something else) the portion for such a price is unreasonably expensive. The salad is ordinary, just chopped tomatoes and cucumbers- slicing, not salad.
I liked the fried potatoes (fries).
The attitude of the staff is uninvolved and why bother if the default price is 10% of the check amount. After payment, he asked us if he liked it or not, but after his question he left without listening to our answer, which I voiced to him.March 28.2024
Great khinkali!!! Excellent barbecue, not expensive local beer !!! This understands what delicious real food is - feel free to go there , enjoy your appetite
