A cozy place, you can feel the national flavor, but also a modern style. The staff is very polite, the menu is varied, the dishes are always fresh and delicious, the places for family or company are very interestingly divided, there are tables for singles and two. For me, the place starts like in a theater, with hangers- super, they kept the wardrobe and the cloakroom attendant here. The prices are above average, but they are worth it. Go, you won't regret it
Everything is very tasty, the staff is hospitable, I definitely recommend it!Those who want to enjoy the national cuisine and the appropriate atmosphere should definitely visit this place. The prices are very affordable!
A spacious hall. The food was good, tasty and satisfying. But the price is not cheap. We had dinner on the first evening upon arrival, although as it turned out the next day there is a place nearby that is no worse, but the cost is twice as low.
Good evening, the Skullcap restaurant, I like the fact that it is always accessible and understandable to the visitor. It's nice to sit and talk with your loved ones and drink Tashkent tea and capture the highlights of your life, and it's unforgettable. Good luck to you, if you give people warmth and comfort.
I've always liked their cuisine. And it seems that this time they did not disappoint, the kebab and salad were delicious, but there was no achuchuk, they just cut tomatoes with onions. The service at the summer playground is very lame (apparently students), I recommend going inside, they can't open champagne at all. I hope that only this time it didn't work out so well. Previously, everything was fine. Therefore, I recommend it, but inside.
For me, this Skullcap is in second place after the Communist one, the food is delicious, it is very cold from the air conditioner and the ass is a little dark, but the quality is high, the waiters are polite
Delicious fast, not very expensive, the national cuisine is good, chebureks are generally a fire! It's cozy on the flight, the waiters are well done, polite and responsive, the location on Dostyk is very convenient!
The guys cook great, excellent pilaf, the meat is very tasty on the grill, the level of service and the quality of the dishes are on top, there are comments, but not such as to write about them) thank you guys for doing your job perfectly
A picturesque place, national cuisine. Everything is in the heat of the moment. I like that the same dish is always delicious. Polite staff and fast food delivery!
We often go to the Skullcap on Satpayev, I really like the place and the menu.
This was the first time we were in this cafe. I liked everything, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, the prices are quite reasonable. The portions are large. Only the best impressions.
The first time we came, everything was perfect, the food was delicious. The second time they came a few months later and did not like the food, it was not delicious. The bill came out to a decent amount, but there was no satisfaction. We won't come again
I love the skullcap, the cuisine is delicious, but the restaurant is getting old inside. For some reason, they refused to invite the animators, although the hall was empty and we made a good bill.
Don't order jelly for a banquet, it starts to melt right away.
Discuss salads with salt.
Now the flight has opened, it's cool!!!
Very tasty dishes of national cuisine. Wonderful tea. Delicious snacks. I really liked the horse meat medallions. The waiter advised everything and added water to the kettle when the tea became too strong.
A pleasant atmospheric place, delicious pilaf, especially from kazy. Good tasty meat. The room is spacious and sparsely populated. And although there are many similar establishments with national cuisine in Almaty, the staff here is very polite and attentive. Clean toilets are an important detail that many restaurateurs forget about, in this regard, everything is fine in a Skullcap.
Delicious Uzbek cuisine, dumplings used to be tastier because there was a little more meat, but now we have to look for it. I used to invite all my friends and acquaintances there, but now they have raised their prices so that we probably don't visit them. 🤷♀️💐
I came to try the local cuisine. Prices are above average. I ordered soup, flatbread, compote. It cost 5000 tenge (1000 rubles). It's a little expensive for soup.
The soup was delicious, but there was little meat. The cake is airy. it melted in my mouth. Service for 4.
I really love our Skullcap. The most important thing is that without too much pathos, but at the same time cozy and most importantly very tasty! Thanks for that!
The location is good, the summer terrace is pleasant, the food is delicious (oriental), the rest of the menu is for an amateur, the staff is polite, although the prices are slightly above average. We go regularly.
We visited the Skullcap restaurant on Dostyk (Samal1) for lunch. We are guests of the country and this was the first visit to the catering establishment of the city.
They took beshbarmak - tasteless, they couldn't eat it, the pilaf was good and the bozbash was also normal. There are two beers on the menu - Russian and Belgian. Russian was not available, Belgium was ordered. The beer was sour, obviously spoiled, and only after the remark was poured fresh. The waiters are slow from the word at all. They brought both soup and hot at the same time, considering that we were sitting on the outdoor veranda, the hot had cooled down before we got to it.
The price tag for this lunch turned out to be exorbitant about 15,500 Tons
Over the next 3 days that we were in Kazakhstan, we spent less in other establishments with more decent cuisine than for this lunch.
I do not recommend this restaurant chain to visit.
Very tasty! Well, it's very tasty! The portions are large, so we need to evaluate our capabilities - it was hard for me to eat so much, but I also had no strength to refuse)
Not a bad place. Nicely. I didn't really like the kitchen. The pasties turned out to have frozen filling. The pilaf, because of which they came here, was with uncooked rice. Although it may be for an amateur. Beshparmak was normal, but in other, more accessible places, they put more meat there.
In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in the city - in terms of price-quality ratio. We visited A-Ata three times in three weeks, including with local friends. We only regretted that we did not know - there is another "Skullcap" on the site of the former Alma-Ata restaurant, on the communist. We hope to 'improve' on our next visit. I recommend it to all guests and residents of the city.
It is clear that the products have risen in price, it is not clear why prices have risen with the deterioration of the quality of dishes to the level of the canteen and with reduced portions?)
The pilaf was simply delicious!
Very pleasant atmosphere, I would not say that this is a Teahouse, the service is like in an expensive restaurant. I really liked everything, the staff is all friendly, no one leaves without attention. The waiter kept coming over, asking if everything was okay. I recommend this place! Everything is clean and pleasant. The food is also for 5+
I really liked the waiter's service and the speed of serving dishes! Everything is very tasty, which, in principle, I expected! I advise everyone to come in, be sure to try samsa, chebureks and the rest of the cuisine! Well, treat yourself to a beer! Good luck to you!!!
It was our first visit to Almaty and our first lunch, 10/10 service, menu, dishes. Very tasty pilaf and eggplant salad, friendly waiters and generally very cozy. We sat for three for 25,000 tenge and will definitely come back again!
An ambiguous impression of the restaurant. The kitchen is delicious. The level of service is not high, requires improvement. There are few guests. I've been there a few times, I've never seen a full house.
The restaurant is old, empty, the decoration is from the 90s, 2 companies were celebrating something. There was a Reserve on all the sofas. The menus are old, worn out. There was no Uzbek lamb kebab. As I understand it, there was no lamb in the Uzbek restaurant that day! I left.
I ate pilaf from Kaza. Delicious. But the Kazakhs put one thing))) Saving... probably. The prices are standard for the area. I'll come back next time to try their meat.
