Borjomi is a small but very pleasant town in the central part of Georgia. For those who love peace and quiet away from the noise of big cities and at the same time with all the amenities of the civilized world - this is the perfect place! The mountain gorge is surrounded by greenery in spring and summer, it is everywhere. Fresh air and pleasant atmosphere of a small, cozy, resort town. In addition, a stormy river flows through the whole city, filling the surroundings with freshness. A light breeze and the sound of water perfectly relax, taking any of your anxiety and anxiety somewhere very far away. A picturesque place, somewhat similar to the suburb of Nalchik Dolinsk, but there are very few cars, however, as well as people) The city lives its own measured life. In a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, walking along the local streets, in a beautiful park, on the riverbank or sitting in a cafe enjoying delicious khachapuri, you do not notice how the days pass. It's not very hot at night, even without the air conditioner on, you sleep great. And of course the famous Borjomi spring with healing mineral water. By the way, it tastes different to me from bottled, but who likes it better. There are about a dozen hotels for accommodation, and the level depends on the size of your wallet. However, you can rent a private house with all amenities, as we did. There are also a lot of such proposals. In general, I liked everything, the week spent here was enough for complete relaxation and a set of new experiences.

It is necessary to make a paid entrance to parks in Moscow, too. We didn't go. I have seen the beauty of Georgia in other places. We were taken to the pool by a local guide in a jeep. At first, I asked for the standard price, the unreasonably high 150lari. For this money, they will bring me from Tbilisi, show Borjomi , then Vardzia and Rabat fortress, and even make a 30 GEL discount. (Tour with the band of course) As a result, the driver persuaded me, for 80 GEL. So be it, it was the only pleasant 10 minutes. Trips across a mountain river. Although you can drive yourself by car to the village of Sadgeri and walk.
If you come here, it's only on the way, for an overnight stay. We were also disappointed in the pool with sulfur water. Only in fact, I had to pay as much as 20 GEL for muddy water with floating garbage and a bunch of local teenagers who screamed, choked, jumped, in general, no sense of comfort. We were in July 2024.
We were on 07.12.2023 in the sources around 13.00. We read a lot of negative comments, but ventured to go))
The pools are clean, they give towels on site for 10 lari, admission is 10 lari, even if you do not plan to swim. We paid for everything with a card. There was us and one Georgian grandfather.
The road to the springs is either through the park, or through the cable car and down the path, but after rain or if the weather is wet, it is better through the park. We went down the mountain and got all our sneakers dirty))) We plotted the route everywhere with Yandex maps. There are 3 options to arrive by car, but you need a jeep.
There was no smell of sulfur.
A large park stretching into a beautiful forest. If you go further, you can reach the pools with sulfuric water (from the entrance to the park to the pools, a 30-40min walk).
The entrance to the park itself is GEL 5 (for children under 6 years old without a ticket). There is parking near the park, but usually it is all packed, so you can immediately look for a place on the road leading to the park :)
There are guides for a separate fee (they took it, they did not regret it, it is interesting).
There are a lot of children's attractions and a playground inside the park, but they are all closed in the cold season (they no longer worked in September, the security said it was closed until May). So the little kids will be bored there. But there are plenty of playgrounds outside the park, there is a place to walk.
The entrance to the park is 5 GEL, but to my disappointment there is nothing special there, except for the barge water, which the girl pours all day into her cups. There is a beautiful architecture of old houses in front of the entrance to the park and in the park. The road goes far into the beautiful mountain forest, at the top of the bath, where access is also paid. The whole park is teeming with children's attractions. You can climb to the top by cable car, the lift costs 15 GEL per person. The place is hyped, but "low-impact". I've been there, checked the box, I won't go anymore.
A well-known natural resort since Soviet times, very popular, Minvoda Borjomi was in great demand. As a child, the water from the spring did not seem very tasty to me, the fact that it is very useful did not please me as a child, we often visited here on the way from Akhaltsikhe to Khashuri, where there was a large railway junction. Now Borjomi has changed a lot, a lot has been restored. The fame of the resort spread during the reign of Nicholas 2, the Romanov Palace was built, where the royal family spent many months "on the waters". During the Soviet years, many sanatoriums were built. Now the water source (paid) is located in the central park, entrance to the park during official business hours is paid, local people walk outside this time for free, in addition, you can get in for free if you go down from the upper plateau on a cable car. A cable car of innovations, while climbing, a wonderful overview of the town itself and the surrounding area, from the plateau-indescribable beauty and views! If you walk from the spring along the Kura, you will find yourself near a waterfall and a monument to Prometheus, as a symbol of the unity of 3 natural elements. Then about 3 km through thermal hydrogen sulfide baths, with different heating temperatures, max 30 degrees, for an amateur, the smell of hydrogen sulfide is strong, it is popular in winter. A walk along the gorge along the Kura River leaves a great impression, there is already a modern recreation industry, cafes, restaurants, hotels, a shop and, most importantly, the famous jam made from pine cones! The air is clean, the vegetation is lush and diverse, the impression is super!

It was in June 2021. In Tbilisi, the heat is 40+, there is shade and coolness. Cozy old houses, stunning beauty of nature. A mountain river is running. Cafes, restaurants, a cable car to the observation deck. There are sulfur thermal pools about three kilometers from the entrance to the park. Not hot, lukewarm))) You can walk and swim. There are attractions for children. ... I really liked the place, there are no mosquitoes at all, you can eat the air with a spoon. I recommend everyone to visit! You will definitely like it)))
It's a very beautiful place. Borjomi Park itself is located in a certain gorge. The park has a pump room with warm borjomi, an amusement park. A mountain river flows in the middle of the park. If you go up from the park upstream of the river on the right side, you will reach the outdoor pools, where it is pleasant to swim in mineral water.
Paid parking - GEL 5!!!. Borjomi in a bottle costs 1.2!!! Parking is not equipped, it's easier to get dirty behind the fence. Then walk a kilometer to the source. A cold spring is a pipe at the bottom in some kind of pit with constantly flowing water... There is a constant queue with 5-liter bottles. There are already 2 taps in the hot one, still in the park...
