I live literally in the next entrance, so the choice of where to carry shoes or a backpack for repair is obvious. The first time I brought a small shoulder bag. It was in October 2022. It was necessary to sew additional loops to it. The quality of the work was average lousy. The seams are crooked, the loops are not sewn symmetrically. Well, okay, you can close your eyes. But then I find a melted hole on the shoulder strap, clearly obtained from the ingress of glue or solvent on the material. To my remark, the workshop worker, a young guy, begins to assert that, they say, you brought this. But I know that this is a lie, because the bag is practically new, and contacts with such aggressive substances during short use were excluded. It was impossible not to notice this hole, because it was in a prominent place and immediately caught the eye. As a result, the employee offers me to replace the entire shoulder strap with a new one, claiming that he will find exactly the same color and quality as his native one. I left my bag and my phone number and waited. A week passed, then the second. No one called, I kept waiting... After a month and a half had passed, I decided to go to the workshop myself. When I arrived, I was told that the belt was not found and nothing was done with the bag. When I asked how we would solve this issue, the employee replied that they would continue to "look for" a belt belt. As a result, I realized that this would continue indefinitely, took the unfortunate bag and left. Since then, I haven't been there for almost a year, until in September 2023 I needed to re-sew the front pockets in my trousers. There are no complaints here. The employee, a nice granny, did everything just perfectly. A man has golden hands. Everything is smooth, made of high-quality materials. Thanks a lot to her, I was more than satisfied! The third episode was a month later, in October 2023. It was necessary to repair the city backpack, or rather the "ears" in the upper part of the straps. At one ear, the seam began to collapse. I brought my backpack to the workshop. There was already a second guy at the reception. I explained the essence of the problem, asked to make "ears" of the same length and "strengthen" them by stitching along the top with some neat seam, herringbone or zigzag, for example. I asked to do everything carefully, because the backpack is expensive and in excellent condition, and these lines are in plain sight. A week later I came for a backpack ... the ears were sewn with an ordinary straight seam so clumsily and crookedly that it gave the impression that it was sewn by a child. The length of one ear differed from the second by a centimeter and a half! I do not know why I turned a blind eye to it at that moment and swallowed everything. There was no mood to make a row, not to understand. Moreover, the same guy gave me the order as the ill-fated bag a year before, and I had no desire to communicate with him. And so we got to the last case that happened to me with this "workshop" just the other day. I took my training boots for repair. The essence of the repair: the shoes are two years old, the shoes with a direct tide, in the places of the fold, the skin began to move slightly away from the sole, literally by 1 mm. I wanted to carry out "prevention" and glue these places so that salt and dirt would not get there, and these places would not increase. I decided to take it to the workshop "under the windows", being sure that there should definitely be no problems with shoes and such minor repairs. How wrong I was. There was a second employee at the reception, the same one who took my backpack earlier. To my question, what can be done, he offered two options: just glue or peel the skin further from the sole and put patches. I chose the first option, because there was no point in serious repairs. I gave the shoes for repair on 11/18/2023. It was necessary to pick up on 11/21/2023., after 17-00. At the appointed time, I came to the workshop, briefly examined the shoes, paid 20p for the work and went outside. Literally on the threshold of the workshop, I decided to inspect the work done more carefully ... The glue did not hold at all, the place of gluing diverged simply from pressing a finger. At the same time, the places where the skin left the sole increased to 5mm. Naturally, I immediately returned to the workshop with my shoes in my hands. To my complaints, the young man replied to me that shoes with a direct tide cannot be glued, because they are not made in an adhesive way. The question is, if you can't do it, why did you do it?! You have my phone number, called, said that, they say, so and so, we can't do it. Why was it necessary to spoil the thing?! I still don't understand why it's impossible to glue the sole. As a result, the employee gave me 20p and I went home with my shoes. I'll take it to another workshop on the weekend. This is the story of my relationship with this "workshop", in which I no longer set foot.
