A wonderful fortress, visited it a second time and liked it again. The ticket can be paid by card, the guide is optional. You can go to the excavation area at the top, there is a beautiful view of Kalyan.
A new modern hotel, stylish, made with soul, we really liked it! Close to historical sites. There are no problems with hot water and heating. The hospitable host knows where to eat delicious pilaf and recommends the best route for a walk around the city.
Museums in the fortress show products of medieval life, there is an archaeological part with fragments of preserved buildings and corresponding information plates. There are paths along the wall, which offer a beautiful view of the city.
Tip 1: Ask the workers to get to the excavations! This is Uzbekistan, it's all for extroverts. And the value and interest of the visit increases significantly.
Tip 2: Try to bargain with the cashier, the price tag is walking. She is bored to sit there, you can entertain her with trade, she will throw it off. The price is not critical (~ 250 rubles), but in theory you can try to throw off and your visit will be worth the money.
Now the fortress itself and the museum:
There's a big fortress outside. Inside there is a medium-sized museum of local lore with the history of the city and the region, which occupies no more than 15-20% of the entire fortress. The museum as a whole is in satisfactory-good condition.
You can go to the excavations themselves with interesting ruins and views of the old city to walk along the wall by asking local workers.
Admission: 5,000 soums for locals, and the price for foreigners will range from 25,000 to 50,000 soums, depending on the mood of the cashier or his boss. (In my case, she let me in for 40, but gave me a check for 5).
As a result, I put 4 stars for the museum + the fortress as a whole, but I will remove the fifth star for the fact that you need to include an extrovert to get to the excavations themselves and the most cool view from the walls.
An interesting place to visit, steeped in antiquity, many small museums on the territory, they are already included in the ticket price, you can take beautiful photos overlooking the city and the water tower.
A very beautiful building, a huge legacy of Uzbekistan, a lot of history, a lot of thrills. It will be more interesting with a guide. The history of this building fascinates people, I advise everyone.
The Palace of the Emir of Bukhara , the Winter Palace .The whole city , all the beauty of the city can be seen from the palace , there are ancient exhibits of the emir 's clothes and various exhibits .
It's not the most interesting building to visit in Bukhara, there's not much to see inside, but there are a lot of sellers who try to cram you trinkets for a lot.
a good place to spend time, if you are still interested in something, and ask, then you can learn a lot of new and unusual things, especially related stories with antiques, but this is just a little.
Entrance is paid, inside the exposition of the museum and the mosque, an architectural park.It is worth going to the guests of the city-a beautiful view opens up
Buxoro arki — Oʻzbekistonning Buxoro shahridagi qadimiy ark; atrofidagi maydon sathidan qariyb 20 metr balandlikda koʻtarilgan va taxminan 4 gektar maydonni egallagan monumental qal’a. Qalʼa Buxoroning eng qadimiy meʼmoriy va arxeologik yodgorligi hisoblanadi. Bu qal’a tepalikni tashkil etgan koʻp asrlik vayronagarchilik qatlamlariga ega shaharning eng qadimiy qismi hisoblanadi
A citadel with an unusual shape of the walls, reconstruction work was carried out on the other side of the gate. In general, an interesting place, there is also something to see inside!) I recommend it!)
The appearance is grandiose, inside, in order to be interesting, it is necessary to walk with a guide, otherwise you will not get full pleasure and it is not clear.
Externally, it looks monumental. But I expected much more from visiting the museum. The part of the citadel accessible to tourists is very small. In fact, it is a small museum of local lore - a few coins, shards and items of national clothing, books and photographs. You can rent a guide, there are a lot of them there. And there are souvenir sellers all around, who are absolutely out of place there. It's not worth the money you paid.
It's a cool place, I'm very glad that I managed to visit it. The impression is spoiled by bike rental in the square near the citadel

A beautiful fortress with a very rich history, be sure to take a guide the price is 300 rubles for 1 hour, he will tell you everything about this museum and more!
To be honest, the impression is twofold. Huge fortress walls, several buildings, location in the city - everything is impressive. But there is nothing else, an empty stone desert inside the walls.
The citadel of the Ark of the shield is almost ready, before Genghis Khan, unfortunately, 30% remained from the fortress. But it's worth a look at the timbola there this year, now the cetodel is being restored.
We planned to watch the sunset from the walls of the fortress, but at the checkout, despite the fact that I specifically clarified this point, they remained silent or pretended that they did not understand. As a result, it turned out that it was impossible to walk along the walls and had to be content with a tour of the local history museum and some shops. It's not interesting!
A formidable madam stands at the entrance and collects money for admission. Local 10,000, foreigners 40,000. Moreover, they do not give tickets, and the turnstiles do not work. It's the same everywhere in Bukhara: you pay money, but they don't give you tickets. The direct opposite of Samarkand. There's not much to see inside. The view of the city is not bad, but you can't get close to the wall, it's cordoned off. The wall is still being completed
For a place that was of strategic importance, the impression is excellent. But the mezei inside is a horror. Of all the halls, I liked only 2, in all the others the exhibits are stretched, repeated. There was a feeling that the space was there, but there was nothing to fill it with, so everything is duplicated. There are very few diaries, tables, photos and genealogies. And also, taking into account the large number of foreign tourists, it would be possible to take care of signatures to certificates. Otherwise, everything is in Uzbek, nothing is clear. There are guides not everywhere. It's a little weak for your money, but it's worth going.
It is amazing by the height of the walls. The museum's exposition seemed modest. For a city with such a long time history, they thought to see more and more ancient. But overall it was interesting.
I can only appreciate the outside, I have not visited the citadel itself. It looks very monumental. Reconstruction is underway in some places. You can take an electric car tour.
