It's an interesting place, but you still have to understand that this is a complete makeover. In places, you can observe the remains of the former wall, which say little about the former greatness of this fortress. And in the citadel itself, only earthen hills remained of the buildings. Still, the building material at that time was simply nothing !! In a short time, the fortress simply crumbled....

The main attraction of Bukhara. It would be strange not to visit here. The entrance for foreigners is 40 thousand, which is 307 rubles today. There are several small museums on the territory, the entrance to which is already free. There is already nature, history and coins of Bukhara. Considering that the city is more than 2.5 thousand years old, it is necessary to visit the most authentic place. There is a souvenir sale, toilets. And, by the way, very interesting installations that give an idea of what this or that ruin used to look like. The Ark Citadel is the winter palace of the imam. It was a whole city for the ruler. Part of it was destroyed, leaving only ruins and tablets that used to be here. Nicely. The walls are under restoration, but you can clearly see exactly how they were created. There is no stunning ensemble inside like in Khiva, but there are many museums. By the way, you can climb the wall and enjoy the view of all the mosques and madrassas of BUKHARA.
