A very atmospheric cafe. The interior is impressive. Excellent service. It's fast and delicious. I liked the coffee. Serving with small milkmen is very nice. I will do the same thing at home. If you are frozen, take a zubrovka, add mood.I advise everyone to visit
Good day. It's a great place and the food is delicious. After Grodno, we thought that a cafe in such an iconic place would be expensive, but everything is excellent.Fast, delicious, in a historic place. The draniki are great, the staff is friendly.Payment by Mir card.I definitely recommend it.
An impressive historical tragic place that at the same time showed the unbreakable Russian spirit, which recognized the events of the past described by history. Tragedy and deception are intertwined here at the same time (the Germans are accused of non-aggression according to the pact), the innocent victims of the attack: women and children (many), and the courage of its defenders, their fighting spirit, the dedication of Soviet soldiers and officers, their will to win, in its defense in June-July 1941. The defense lasted 32 days and the last hotbed of resistance was suppressed on 07/23/1941. Time seems to have stopped here. Feelings and emotions are contradictory.
Of course, a lot has been restored, repaired and/or mothballed now, but this and the involved guide or something else will not allow us under any circumstances to fully experience and imagine what happened here and how. Only a part of the information became known and was restored. Reliable data on the number of surrendered, dead, and survivors have not been available to date, and it is probably no longer possible to establish. I would like such tragic cases and places not to be repeated/added, but ... (everyone has their own opinion on this matter).
It is necessary to visit a hotel in Brest.
Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly, friendly and courteous staff.
The choice was from dishes that did not contain onions, and which did not take long to wait. It turned out to be nuggets and French fries. Very tasty. The dish is large. I had to divide it into 2 portions. The second portion was placed in a container, which pleased me with the absence of the need to cook dinner. Plus the atmosphere, the spirit of the times, a sense of the past, and reverence for the courage of the defenders of the fortress.
Courteous staff, fast service. The atmosphere of the past time, military music is playing. We ordered draniki. They looked very presentable, a fairly large portion, very tasty.
I visited this place, I was very hungry, and it was the last bulwark that could pull me out of the abyss of hunger. Looking at the menu, I saw quite pleasant prices, and being sure that I was having a nice, tasty and cheap meal now, I ordered Potatoes with herring, as well as BREAD. When the waiter brought me herring and potatoes, my indignation knew no bounds. I HAVE NOT SEEN SUCH AN ATTITUDE YET! 15 rubles for 3 PIECES of herring is something with something. It was as if the leftovers from the kitchen had just been swept into my plate. By the way, I didn't get any bread!!! They just forgot about him... But this position is paid for, and I ordered bread just for the herring. Horror. The indescribable horror. Besides, the potatoes were clearly not Belarusian. This is some kind of mockery. It is worth noting that on this wonderful day, there was a pleasant frost outside. My cheeks were red, and nothing like a pot of fragrant tea warms my heart and soul on a day like this. BUT, there was at most 2 cups of tea. WHAT IS THIS!!??!?? In general, I was very upset and unhappy. I feel like I've been spat on.
The Brest Fortress was impressive. The power. Patriotism is developed in Belarus, which is very encouraging. There are many children's groups on excursions. We also took an ex-course teacher and were very satisfied.
It's a wonderful place! The prices are average, maybe slightly higher than in other restaurants (taking into account the location on the territory of the fortress and the pleasant design of the place itself), but it did not hurt to enjoy the local food.
The food is delicious and of high quality, despite the fact that it is prepared relatively quickly. There are both first and second courses. An impressive selection of drinks: from simple to interesting.
The waiters are polite and friendly. The administrator is watching in the hall.
The atmosphere is pleasant. I liked it very much. One of the many reasons to return to the Brest fortress. I definitely recommend going in
A small, modest cafe with very few seats, but even on New Year's holidays you can find an empty table. The menu is mediocre, but considering that other catering outlets are quite remote nearby, you can find something to eat. Very clean toilet.
A very good cafe. I emphasize: not a restaurant. The food is delicious, they cook for an average waiting time of 20-30 minutes. The waiters are attentive. I liked the food and drinks. There were no positions, but this did not overshadow the impression. From the wishes: when you order a set of snacks, you should bring plates for each visitor. We took a set and of course, as husband and wife, we can safely pick at a common plate, but it's worth providing plates for the company where everyone can put themselves a dranik or cabbage from the set. I also note that I saw a couple come to the cafe with a "claim to the restaurant", behaved defiantly and threw snobbish questions at the waiter. It was strange to see such baseless pathos in the CAFE. This is not a restaurant. It's delicious, cool, but it's a cafe. Be prepared that you will not be told what fattening pork is))
A pleasant historical place, beautiful view from the panoramic windows. The first courses and appetizers were served quickly, but the hot ones had to wait. I recommend it when visiting the Brest Fortress. Children and adults liked everything.
Everything is very interesting, thought out, if you know the history of defense, you don't need a guide, but it's better to book a tour, you can see right away that in this country, they remember the war, and they know there are toilets and cafes on the territory.
The food is not very tasty. We ordered a hodgepodge, draniki and a herring. Everything is very usual. I didn't like the herring very much. Unusual interior. The children liked the dumplings in the shape of hearts)
The food was delicious, the portions were large.
The moment that surprised me was that I ordered a pot of black tea from the drinks, it was very hot. I asked for a glass of cold water to dilute (for myself and the child, I didn't want to drink boiling water)- they refused, they said we don't have regular water, only bottled water. No regular water? Seriously? I've never heard that in any institution before. Even in the tiny coffee shop where we were waiting for coffee and rolls, there were four of us!!! They brought us a glass of cold water while we were waiting for the order.
Management, take note of the remark. It's a walk-through place, there are a lot of customers, well, you don't have to worry about a glass of tap water.
In general, the kitchen is not bad, the atmosphere is wonderful, everything is clean and cozy. Without leaving the Brest fortress, you can take a break for lunch. But the truth is that the prices are appropriate, not to say that they are very high, but still it is impossible to call a budget snack here for sure.
The cafe is located in an architecturally unusual building. When I arrived, there were only drinks on the menu, there was no food (maybe there is something to eat at another time).
Plenty of outlets, you can recharge your phone before visiting museums.
A very powerful memorial. Worthy. Such places need to be protected for centuries🙏
We were satisfied with the food, it's a pity that there were no cheesecakes, I really wanted tea, I had to drink tincture with sweets.
Excellent cafe in the fortress. The menus are focused on Belarusian cuisine. Everything looks delicious. The waiters are often in a rush. It's difficult to find a place on weekends.
The spirit of the defenders has been preserved in every corner of the Brest Fortress, perhaps because the museum staff, visitors, guests and residents of Belarus are very careful and reverent about their heritage.
The service is fast. The food is delicious. You can choose both soup and second courses. There are pastries and dumplings for picky children. We were satisfied.
We didn't like it: sooooo long service, the waiters are friendly, but not a single wish is taken into account, the food is very average, and the price tag is like in a good institution. We were just really cold and wanted to relax, but it would have been better if we had cleaned up and gone to lunch somewhere else.
It's a terrible place. We made a reservation in advance. We waited for half an hour for the waiter to come to us. Although the cafe is quite small. There were many items missing from the menu. They asked me what was the least time to wait. The waiter offered soup and salads in 15 minutes. After 40 minutes, tea was brought to us. The soup was waited for another 10 minutes. I wanted to get up and leave. But it was a pity for the wasted time. The food is mediocre, like in the cafeteria. Nearby, at the next table, other customers were indignant, who had all the dishes mixed up. In general, I strongly do not recommend it.
A fairly simple walk-through place, clean to rest and eat, the choice of food on the menu is very modest, but the food is really delicious, the service is sincere. Special thanks to the guys for the Wi-Fi and for the sense of humor))
We visited when we were walking around the fortress. In fact, the only place where you can have a good meal. On Wednesday afternoon, we were the only ones that were a plus for us. We ordered borscht. They brought it quickly, it seemed that it was sour. But it's still delicious. Croutons are perfect for borscht. The staff is friendly, the interior is fortress-themed. The only thing for me is that the price tag is too high for the main dishes. But it's understandable, there are no competitors nearby 😊
We stopped by to warm up after visiting the memorial, the menu is not big, we took draniki - we are in Belarus! And they are very VERY tasty! And the portion is large! We liked it! I recommend.
We ate with the whole family, we were fed to the brim, the portions are what you need (not small), it's good that there is a cafe on the territory of the fortress- to relieve tension from the prevailing atmosphere....
The most tasteless meal for 3400 rubles (120 BEL) for three people. The potatoes are raw and sour. They told the only waitress about it - they waited 20 minutes for an over-cooked meal - they brought exactly the same raw, sour, tough potatoes. Solyanka is liquid water with sausage trimmings.
The establishment does not match its location, much less the prices. In any ordinary dining room, I'm sure it will be tastier and cheaper.
Do not spoil your impressions of visiting the Brest Fortress, do not enter this stall and take care of your tummies.
We found the "Citadel" on the map, decided to stop by for lunch, as we walked around museums and fortresses all day, and there was a long road ahead of us. The menu is quite extensive, we chose local cuisine - pancakes and pork pancakes. To be honest, we did not expect that there would be such large portions) And the coolest thing was very tasty! Unfortunately, I overcame only 3 draniki out of 6, But we kindly agreed to put the remaining 3 draniki with us, put them in a bag and an additional one. in a paper bag. The order was delivered quite quickly by the way!
Everything was very tasty, cooked quickly, pleasant staff, excellent service,a beautiful and peaceful place, the atmosphere is appropriate, there are restrooms. We were with the children and everyone really liked it!)I wish there were more such establishments.
Delicious, fast and inexpensive! There is a national cuisine on the menu! Very cozy! Despite the fact that there are organized groups that have planned a visit in advance, we were served very quickly
The prices are not humane, but they are expected for a tourist destination. We were faced with a full house, and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table to be available. Borscht and hodgepodge are delicious. The draniki are delicious, and the portion is large - 6 full-fledged draniki.
I didn't like it. All dishes served are at room temperature. It tastes average. The prices are high due to the monopoly position on the territory of the museum complex. In the city, for the same price tag, you can have a very tasty meal...
Well then... Some are delicious, some are not. Soups seem to be diluted with water, empty. Salads are disgusting. Draniki are good. They carry everything haphazardly. The beer arrived after all the food. Sit and drink into the void. Generally an average place, if you just have a snack after the tour
Brest Fortress is the main attraction of Brest, the memories of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers are still fresh. And if you open a restaurant, then you need to open it with respect to us, to visitors who care about history.
We came to the restaurant and were horrified. There are few tables, but we were lucky to get a table. Let there be dirty dishes on the table, but nothing, they sat down. The waiter is alone, you can understand. Then the menu was brought, very meager, I must say. You can't choose soup for a child. We started to choose, but the noise at the neighboring tables and the closed windows made it so incredibly stuffy that my head immediately ached. Other customers came up to the waiter, said they were waiting for half an hour to make an order? Is it okay? A small number of tables, stuffiness, service and its absence. While the banquet hall is large and there is no one there. We got up and left. If you are organizing a similar restaurant in such an iconic place, please do not compare people with pigs. Provide conditions for which it will not be a pity to pay even twice!
A very cozy cafe, located on the territory of the Brest fortress. It's the only one, so where to go for lunch was chosen unanimously. The variety of dishes on the menu is small, but everything is cooked very tasty. The portions are very large, but the price is too high in my opinion. The girls are very friendly. Many thanks to the kitchen for a delicious lunch
Thank you for feeding me quickly and inexpensively. But it was very stuffy and hot. There is no air conditioning. And half of the dishes on the menu are missing. What was available was delicious. I wouldn't go to this cafe on purpose. But considering its location and the fact that there is nowhere else to eat near the fortress, except to buy ice cream, I recommend it. There are nuggets, pancakes, and potatoes on the menu. T e children will definitely be fed
I've never seen such disgusting service in my life. I made an order, waited for half an hour, other customers who came much later have been eating for a long time and I decide to ask where the food is. It turned out that the order had not been entered and the waiter did not offer any apology or compliment for the mistake. So the hungry ones left.
Clean, atmospheric, the food is a solid four. There is not much place to have a snack in the Fortress, so the establishment does not have any serious competition.
Good cafe, delicious food, fast service. It's nice to sit there after a long walk. The only disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning (((, if it's a hot day it will be stuffy.
Very slowly. We waited for 30 minutes, and in the end we were told that the kitchen was closed for special maintenance. They work slowly. People even offered to help with cooking))) and the administrator needs to learn how to communicate with clients... Another family came who called in advance, and they were told to come in an hour. So they ended up looking for another place too...
A great cafe. They cook quickly. The menu is small, but there is everything you need: soups, main dishes, salads. The price tag, on average in the city, is normal. I would call this place a high-quality dining room. I recommend.
It's lucky that there's a cafe right in the fortress! Especially in winter, when you're frozen and you want hot soup. Service standards
But the dishes are not the best.
