An Orthodox church with a rich history built on the site of a 12th century temple. Beautiful interior decoration. The Orthodox miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Novogrudok is located in the church. When you are here, you get a feeling of inner peace and complacency - a special place. Come for the soul.
The church was built in 1519. A striking example of the Belarusian Gothic architecture of the 16th century. In 1839 it was transferred to the Orthodox Church. In 2010, the Gothic was "decorated" with kokoshniks with tents, and gilded onion domes. It is unlikely that you will see this anywhere else
Novogrudok impressed me as much as possible. Despite its tiny size, I enjoyed walking for an hour and a half through the streets, beautiful houses, many temples, a pleasant town in all respects to visit. I couldn't visit the Boris m Gleb Church, but I really liked the outside!
One of the oldest churches in Belarus, founded in the 12th century, fully experienced the difficult fate of a religious institution in the 20th century. Currently restored to its 17th century condition, it serves the faithful.
