It is often called Kolozhskaya. The oldest church in Grodno. It also offers a beautiful view of the castle, the Neman and Grodno. Guests of Grodno are required to visit.
Just a delight! Such an ancient church, I am glad that part of the building has been preserved since the 12th century. The territory is beautiful, a gorgeous view of the Neman. People of any religion must visit, just for aesthetic pleasure.
We visit the Kolozha Church every time we arrive in Grodno. There are not many such buildings of the 12th century left. The structure is impressive. It is located on a hill not far from the shore of the Neman. From a distance it looks like a castle-type defensive structure. There are church shops inside, the prices are very affordable, they did not leave without parking for themselves or their loved ones.

A place of spiritual power. The incredible beauty of the views, nature and the temple itself, which breathes centuries of history and grace. A strong history of the church. A must-visit!
When I was a child, I went on an excursion to this place and had interesting memories. A modern reconstruction of the church has now been carried out. Everything is so well-groomed and beautiful. I'm thrilled!
The history of the church itself is amazing, be sure to follow the QR code on the gate, the centuries-old history, and the atmosphere in the temple is amazing, ancient icons simply attract you!! Thank you for saving such a miracle!
The most unusual functioning Orthodox church. It's a very atmospheric place. You're touching history. It's amazing how the stones were polished very smoothly before. The peculiar texture of the walls.
The unique rarest in our strip, a Byzantine-style temple that has come down to our time!! The collapsed part has been adequately restored.
Fantastic location and a must-have place for researchers of Belarus and its history…
I don't like churches, but I didn't want to leave here, the old masonry is very impressive, I liked the combination of modernity and antiquity. I recommend.
Kalozha. Garodnya. Two words. I'm not a trab anymore. Persha raz pabachy u 2006 godze. It was not so bad that I remembered being busy. Such a mess, I want to visit the skin once, I'm happy. Gistory tsarkva treba vyvuchat times z gistory Garodni that hour. Dzyakui for that, shto zberagli, adnavili, nadali novy podyh getai staronki histories👍👍👍
There are a lot of new models , it is unclear why they were redone and rebuilt . Embedded window openings. I was not impressed by the word at all . You can watch it for an amateur .
An amazingly beautiful place. The view, the atmosphere and the spirit of these walls will not leave anyone indifferent. It is not possible to avoid the desire to touch these stones.
The oldest functioning church on the territory of Belarus dates back to the 1180s. Part of the church collapsed due to a landslide in the middle of the 19th century, it was restored from wood. And this is not bad, you can immediately see where the real remains of the church are, and where the restored part is. The shore can be seen that it was very seriously strengthened so that the Neman would not wash away the soil.
It is clear that it has been heavily repaired. But the preserved part of the wall is awe-inspiring: the Byzantine style and ancient brick are clearly visible. I recommend you to visit.
Such an unusual architecture and wall decoration! I was very impressed, I wanted to walk around, touch the polished cobblestones embedded in the masonry, look at the Neman from the height of the hill... I even went inside, although I am not a churchly person. The service was just going on, and indeed the acoustics are magical. If you're around, be sure to stop by. It won't take long.
an incredibly beautiful place with a very rich history. Remarkably restored to almost its original appearance. It stands on the high bank of the Neman River.
The oldest Orthodox church. The photo shows that the near, stone part has been preserved for centuries. The far one has been restored to "close the contour" and cover the roof.
In these places, Napoleon also marched on Smolensk and Moscow. And the temple stood here a long time ago!
a very unusual church, remarkable for its unconventional architecture, even for the Catholic faith, and with an even more unusual history, which is definitely worth reading online
A very old, impressive building with a beautiful courtyard

Cozy antiquity. Despite the flow of tourists during the January holidays, no one bothers anyone, the candle shop sells magnets (you need to name the number), gingerbread, We managed to feel the connection with ancient Russian history. It feels like a salted place.
The oldest building of the Orthodox Church in Belarus, which the Poles helped to preserve. The place is amazing and has its own atmosphere. When visiting Grodno with its castles or churches, it is worth a walk to this place.
Of course, we need to look at it. At least because of its antiquity and remarkable design. And to believers because of the icon.
Although it is located a little far from other attractions, it is no more than 20 minutes to walk to it through the park from the castle.
A very beautiful place and a km temple. You can feel the antiquity and the spirit of the past. I highly recommend visiting if you are in Grodno. One brickwork is worth a lot.
When we have the opportunity to come to Grodno, we always visit St. Borisov Kolozhsky Church. A wonderful place, a wonderful view of the river and the city.
One of the oldest active churches (XV century). It can be reached from the river side by a stone staircase. Unusual wall decoration. Inside there are special voice pitchers for better acoustics. It's definitely worth a look.
It's impressive. However, they took a guide with an individual tour of Grodno. We started just from this church. A must see when visiting the historical sites of Grodno.
The Kalozha Church in Grodno as a symbol of the city in my perception. Unusually narrow brickwork in the same rhythm with layers of lime. Strange inclusions of magically polished stones and a soft pattern of Christian symbols. The perfect link to the landscape with a beautiful view of the dynamic Neman. The boldness of reconstructing the lost part Strengthens unity with eternal values. I would like the trading activity to be moved outside the temple into a separate pavilion.
If you want to see and experience the era of the 12th century, be sure to visit this landmark. This place disposes to silence and self-esteem, thoughts and reflections. The place was chosen for a reason and corresponds to the institution.
