I recommend you to visit. A unique place. The fortress church. Be sure to visit this place. Architecture that is rare for Belarus. You can go inside to the tower where the bell rises.
There is a parking lot and a toilet nearby
The unique fortress temple of the XVI century. Most modern historians agree that the date of construction should be considered 1524 and it is for this reason that in September- October 2024 a string of official celebrations took place on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Murovanka. There are artifacts that indicate the existence of a worship building at this place in a much earlier period. In recent years, a lot has been done to preserve the unique shrine of Belarus: emergency trees have been removed, the laying of an authentic stone fence according to an approved project is being completed, the process of repairing and restoring the temple from the outside has been completed, the territory around the church is constantly being improved, the restoration process inside is being prepared. In 2014 and in October 2024, UNESCO specialists visited the temple, expressing their thoughts and wishes about the preservation of the unique architectural monument. The temple in Murovanka is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list. In the autumn of 2024, the official cancellation ceremony of the postage stamp with the image of the temple in Murovanka took place.
It is a very beautiful temple. It's an Orthodox church, but there are plaques and a monument in Polish. A historical place. It is mandatory to visit. You can climb the tower for a donation.
An interesting place, cozy. Inside, we were greeted by a pleasant woman who told us about the process of rebuilding the church, about the miraculous icon. There are old icons, very interesting and a small museum exposition. I won't tell you which one, you'll see for yourself) She allowed me to climb the spiral staircase to the bell tower. Spiral stairs are usually not very convenient for climbing, but it was comfortable to climb the tower here. Along the way, you can find bricks in the walls, finger prints with grass or fingers :) The view from the tower is pretty. Climbing to the topmost tier, you can accidentally ring the bell. Pigeons give the place an atmosphere, like old-timers, eternal guards :) In the heat, I advise you to climb up, natural air conditioning is provided. P.S. Girls, women, if you do not take a handkerchief on your head, it does not matter. There are hats at the entrance:)
A great place to visit on the way to or from Grodno! Everything here is steeped in history and comfort. You can climb the tower! Unfortunately, they don't let you into the basement and the secret passage! Friendly people work in the church shop! Be sure to come and see the wonder of architecture!
Perhaps the most spiritual temple in Belarus. We came to visit by car, the priest drove away, but a woman met us, she has a house in the village, opened a temple for us, told us everything and showed us, it feels like the community loves its temple very much, at the expense of the community, consisting mainly of pensioners, they are trying to revive the historical stone fence. In the temple, they were allowed to look at the Murovanka from the turret. I was amazed that the temple has its own T-shirts, mugs and even a 3D puzzle, a very modern approach, nice to see. The temple has a website where you can conveniently support the parish online. We advise you to come, you will not regret it, people really do everything with love🫶🏻
Not far from the highway. A historical place. There is a church shop. For an additional fee.For a fee, you can climb the tower. Grab some food, there are hungry cats nearby.
A stunning architectural monument, especially after restoration. Be sure to visit on the way to Grodno or back: the detour is only 20 minutes, but they are definitely worth it.
A very beautiful church! In a picturesque place, there are so many birds around, they sing so much!!! The air is fresh! In spring, everything is in bloom, the aromas are amazing! They let me into the bell tower, they allowed me to ring the bells, a very nice woman works in a shop. I recommend visiting
A place that needs to be seen. An ancient church, interesting architecture, a special spirit is felt here. Visiting such places, you realize what an amazing country we live in 💚

That's all very, as they say, "gone". We came to the temple before Christmas, when the community decorated it with decorations before the great Orthodox holiday.
Despite the fuss, the reception was very friendly and welcoming.
Candles were set. The interior looks somewhat puritanical and austere compared to the exterior.
Architecturally, it is of a very high level, it looks like just a highlight of architecture.
It is multifunctional (from religious, defense, cultural and social aspects).
During the year, more than 12 thousand people visited.
Considering that Russian-speaking tour groups are being imported, the information board at the gates of the fortress temple looks like a "cow's saddle" in Belarusian and English.
The diocese and the Ministry of Culture need to be more focused on the "needs of the people." I doubt that streams of English-speaking pilgrims flow into the Orthodox church.
A very interesting and unusual building. I say this as a builder. Architecture lovers are required to visit. They are allowed to climb into one of the towers.
On the way to or from Brest, be sure to visit this small, cozy and unusual Orthodox church. Visitors are sometimes allowed to enter the bell tower. You won't spend much time, but you will get pleasant impressions.
I really liked it. An unusual church, like a castle. Beautiful and cozy. People are friendly and friendly. A place where storks live nearby and it's great.
The temple is very beautiful, unlike others due to its original function. I was very pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to climb to the very top of one of the towers
A magnificent landmark! The temple is a fortress with combat towers at the corners and loopholes. The current Orthodox Church. The caretakers told about the temple and allowed them to climb the tower. Super!
An amazing temple, in the process of restoration, but services are being conducted. They will tell you, show you, treat you with honey - everyone is welcome, and former pioneers with Komsomol members, and those who respect faith, and believers, and just history lovers ...
Special attention should be paid to the vaults inside, I have never seen such a miracle anywhere
A beautiful church. Very original. Very friendly parishioners. They offered to climb the bell tower. The view is amazing! You will pass through, be sure to visit. There is peace and satisfaction there!
It's a very beautiful place. For many years I drove past to Grodno and did not know that there was such a pearl a few kilometers from the highway. Grandma next door opens a church for those who wish. The view from the tower is amazing. Definitely a worthwhile place.
A God-pleasing place. The church is of a defensive type, if I may say so. The entire history of the church is described on the stand. She is 500 years old this year. It has four towers with loopholes. Very friendly people in the church. The church is being restored gradually. If you are lucky, you will be allowed to climb the steep stairs to the bell tower, which offers a beautiful view of Murovanka and the surrounding area.
It's worth a look, because this is an example of a rather rare architectural style. The church was built exactly 500 years ago, so there are literally only a few similar churches left.
It is a very beautiful church. A blissful place. Wonderful view from the tower (to climb, ask the clerk at the church). Miraculous icons.
I really liked it
This is the first time I've seen a temple of this type. During the visit, the fence was reconstructed, it looks very high quality. It's worth stopping by to take a look with your own eyes
It is interesting to visit, the locals said that the crusaders built it as a fortress, then converted it into a church, there is an icon that cures cancer, there is a magazine in which the healed make records.
A wonderful place with a history and rich meaning. I've been here many times and I always feel good here.🤗 I strongly advise you to get acquainted with the priest)
One of the oldest churches in Belarus. incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. there are traces of bullets and cannonballs on the walls for many wars
full of delight
A magnificent place that immerses you in the time of its construction. Approaching it, the "wai" effect really occurs. It is one of the few examples of defense-type churches, which is why it already deserves respect. Also, sometimes it is possible to climb into the tower, the spiral staircase is not very convenient for climbing, but it is also of a defensive type) but it is worth it to climb into the tower... The view is dazzling!
The priest allowed me to climb the tower and ring the bells) cool, beautiful views. But I'm not calling for fooling around. Such a place should be treated with respect
The place is amazing! The priest in the temple is very welcoming, the atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The place of the spirit, definitely. The beauty of the temple itself and its greatness can also be appreciated by visiting here. Power and strength in faith and faith protects and protects the local population at all times, since the 16th century. Here you can see the core that flew into the temple, and remained here as a relic and reminders of the wars. Here you can climb up the narrow steps to the tower and ring the bell. An excursion that you do not regret, but if possible you want to come back again! I recommend ❤
A beautiful, unusual church. It looks like a castle. Nice ladies work, keep statistics on who came from where. According to them, there is a miraculous icon in the church and the man was saved from cancer. I will not comment on this statement. But the church is worth a visit, the spirit of antiquity is felt.
Very beautiful. A kind and pleasant place. I liked Father Oleg. We were on a guided tour. The golden man. Smart and knowledgeable. It's a great place. You won't regret coming.
A very beautiful church
Definitely worth stopping by to see if you are passing by

This is a fortress temple. You can walk up the centuries-old steps to the bell tower. Everything is the same as hundreds of years ago. Be prepared that your leg muscles will ache for three days after lifting. You can buy merch at the stall, T-shirts, caps. The priest is very kind and told about the history of the temple and religion. Take your time, get off the road, you'll like it.
The church is being restored. The priest tells about her very interestingly.
A beautiful architectural object. We even climbed the bell tower. The view is amazing.
A perfectly restored architectural monument. An active church. My father is kind and helpful. It is very interesting to listen to the history of the fortress temple. I recommend.
An ancient fortress temple. It's very beautiful. It is also interesting in architecture - unusual vaults.
My mother is very kind and helpful. She offered to climb the bell tower.

A very strong and emotional place. I always try to stop by if I'm somewhere in that direction. And the people there are wonderful: they are ready to open the gates at any time, to hold, to tell with pride and trepidation. And sometimes you can even climb up a narrow ladder to one of the towers. I definitely recommend it. That's a must-visit!
I advise everyone to visit, be sure to get inside. Father Eugene told us about the fortress church, it was interesting, informative and atmospheric, he allowed us to climb to the top of the towers, which was very pleasant, thank you very much! The place was not promoted, there were no people at all, which is a huge plus. As long as there are such places and people like Father Eugene, our story will live,,…
The place is just magical! Steeped in history.
We had a great tour and the children were allowed to touch the cannonballs.
It was great! Thank you very much!
