Great location! A beautiful Catholic church with a long history. It's always atmospheric, and it's very difficult to pass by. A must-visit. Beautifully decorated for Christmas! The entire location is free.
It 's a nice church , in general I try not to miss Catholic churches on trips . sometimes you can relax in them from the hustle and bustle of the city. The church itself is small , but this does not spoil the impression of it at all
While walking along Istiklal Street, we saw the door open and entered with curiosity. A place of worship to be admired. The ceiling, the walls, the sculptures and the immaculacy really amaze. Once inside, photography and camera shooting are prohibited. But I took a few photos seeking their forgiveness.
The building was built in 1584. The fire, etc. it has been rebuilt 5 times due to circumstances. One of the oldest active worshiped churches.
If I'm not mistaken, it was here. A cozy place for the soul. Admission is free, right in the center of Istanbul. We recommend visiting

An amazing historical place. I advise everyone to visit. Ancient walls, mosaic, paving stones, painting. Of course, everything could not have been preserved in perfect condition for such a long time, but it's still worth seeing and touching the story.
The entrance from Istiklal Street is open to visitors and prayers for free, very impressive, I recommend you to visit, there is also a schedule of services and events
