A large market with an excellent selection of food and agricultural products and very pleasant prices. Everything is always fresh and the sellers are very friendly.
A real oriental bazaar in the city center. Lots of homemade cheese, wine, churchkhela, fruits, vegetables, etc. But all sorts of things are sold nearby. The attitude is friendly.
If you want to return to the atmosphere of the late 90s, then you are here. Fruits, vegetables, meat, milk and all sorts of stuff are all here. The smell is not clean everywhere.
It was the first time in the Georgian market and a disappointment...imported vegetables / fruits, just like we have the same counters (in terms of assortment) and there is no excitement to sell / buy. But the bunches of lettuce surprised me - not less than a kilogram:)
Convenient location, inexpensive (1 GEL/hour for August 2023) parking on the roof of the covered market.
A huge selection of fresh products at reasonable prices.
The market is like a market, of which there are thousands. One thing pleases - not the most annoying sellers, everyone is polite and trying to understand / help. We bought a kilogram of Svan salt and dry adjika. Of the fruits, it was the very season of medlar (the end of May), a very unusual fruit, I recommend trying it.
A great big market. Here you will find everything: fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, pickles, delicious homemade wine. The prices and the choice are pleasing.
