It's been too long. On the first day, you can only make a request for funds and only the next day you can view them. There is no cash register in the Archive. You have to go pay at the People's Bank where the commission is 500 tenge. The good news is that all documents are in electronic format
Excellent staff of the institution. Polite, responsive

The archive does not need a history before 1991, and especially a pre-revolutionary one. Digitization, if carried out, is extremely slow. Metric books and other archival documents are gradually affected by mold and mildew. The site has been unavailable for several months now. And you're talking about electronic access. We haven't heard of this here. A site for a tick from the 90s. But employees attend seminars in Russia and share their experience. They spend budget money. What for? It's impossible to implement it anyway. If money is allocated, it goes to the wrong place. Buy a special scanner, hire smart employees and save the history. Can't you? Transfer the pre-revolutionary archives to Russia. What a stupid thing I'm writing. Then how will they earn there privately?! You can't even imagine how many people want to get to the bottom of the history of their ancestors from all over the world.
Shame and shame on the management and supervisors.
Without the past, there is no future!
