A Soviet-era hotel! Anyone who wants to fully experience the atmosphere of the time of the USSR is welcome here. It's even interesting - the hotel is like a portal to the past-furniture, lamps, bathrooms, breakfasts - everything is from there. We knew where we were going, it didn't bother us. The room is clean, the bed linen, towels are all clean. View from the balcony to the square and the monument to Lenin. Near the Arbat, there are many cafes, they accept payment with Russian cards. Turn on the backlight in the evening.
A very very Soviet hotel, the room stock has not changed since Soviet times. I put 4 for a working air conditioner in the room, cleaning seems to be carried out in the rooms, but not quite conscientiously, the floor does not seem to be washed at all, even if it has just been re-settled. There is no water in the rooms, only a cooler on the floor, only gel and shampoo from the bathroom accessories, no toothpaste or shaving accessories, there is a working refrigerator, sometimes a towel with a hole can get caught, by the way, neither the bed nor the towel have been changed for 5 days, but if the light bulb burns out or some other moments, then in principle they solve these issues promptly. Considering that you will only sleep in the hotel, then in principle it is suitable for sleeping, but not for relaxing
An ordinary old Soviet hotel, old rooms with old furniture, a small combined shower room, a window conditioner in the rooms. But they clean it up quite cleanly every day. The staff is calm and polite. Breakfasts at the hotel are also in the Soviet style, porridge, egg, cheese, sausage. If you want to plunge into the USSR, this is the place where the epoch is felt. The location in the center is near the local Arbat, where there are several restaurants where food is normally served.
A very good hotel, for lovers of the USSR, this is just the thing. It's like entering a kind of museum of the past. It's very quiet. The staff is polite and friendly. It is possible to pay with Russian cards.
A flophouse with the cost of a three-star hotel room.
There are no advantages.
Anyway, it's difficult to call IT a hotel.
Everything is bad:
1) There is an old TV - there is no TV (a couple of channels with a terrible image).
2) There is no kettle (there is a type of cooler with hot water in the hallway, but tea is not brewed in this water). Sorry: a kettle can be rented for 150 rubles per day.
3) Everything falls apart in the rooms (but it is honestly reinforced with tape).
4) The interior of the Soviet era, was updated only cosmetically.
5) Old furniture (of the same Soviet times).
6) Noisy air conditioners built into the window.
7) Ancient noisy refrigerators.
8) A terrible mattress with springs digging into the ribs.
9) There is a Wi-Fi!!! This is not a typo. If you are not lucky with the location of the room, you will have Internet at a speed of several Mbps.
10) The bathroom is a special charm. If you are used to the normal modern with tiles, good plumbing, etc., you will be severely disappointed.
There is only one plus - the hotel is located in the very center of the city. But for some reason it seems to me that this circumstance cannot be considered an advantage of the hotel itself. It's not her fault.
An old hotel. Purely the USSR. I was also unlucky with the number. Wi-Fi worked in the room for the first two days. For the next two weeks, I went downstairs and sat there. There were cockroaches in the room. But when they complained, they immediately came and disinfected
The only thing that can be highlighted is the management staff. I was constantly in touch, helped in many ways, cleaning was also on the tower. It is only due to these two aspects that the guest survives, as for me
The main advantage is the location of the hotel, the number of rooms. In general, the hotel is clean, but everything is very old, people who visited recommended taking a paint tape for gluing windows / doors with them - supposedly it blows very much, but apparently I was lucky in this regard, I did not have to use it. The room basically has everything for living: a bed, an armchair, a table, some cutlery, a wardrobe (if you can call it that), a bathroom with a shower, a bedside table, a refrigerator, a TV. But in the room, as in the whole hotel, everything is old, repairs are 0, the shower cabin barely closes, a very large sink and a very small faucet, there is a hole in the wall (where it leads- I did not check). In my case, there were no problems with water, but after a few rooms there was no cold water. During my stay (3 days), I did not notice any traces of room service in terms of cleaning. Locks on doors with some kind of joke, they close / open on the contrary, a complex system, apparently so that the enemies do not guess)). But of the advantages, it can also be noted that I did not see any additional residents in the form of cockroaches or any other living creatures (thanks for that). A big plus is that there is a water cooler on the floor (at least on 2). If the hotel is needed only to spend the night, then in general it is an option for 4. But the price is of course very high (standard category 1 - 4800r / day). If it were not for the limits of the organization, then 100% would not have checked into this hotel. Objectively, for this cost, the score is 3* - no more.
There are not enough kettles.(I always drive my own well) Cooking in the room is not allowed. The staff rents out kettles for 150 rubles. / day kapets. There is no canteen to feed the guests. (We could include meals in the dining room in the price as accommodation is expensive 4200 rubles / day up to 6000 rubles / day) and the restaurant is very expensive.
The hotel is a greeting from the past, as they say. Unorganized check-in, untrained reception staff, rooms like a time machine, inflated prices, especially on launch days. A big plus is the location. Came out and in the center)
A very clean, well-groomed, legendary city filled with the history of space exploration by the Soviet Union, Russia and Kazakhstan. If possible, visit Baikonur and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the historical achievements of our fathers.

The staff tries to maintain integrity and cleanliness. But the hotel itself is stuck deep in the 80s. Moreover, the price tags correspond to a good 4*, and suites in general can compete in price with 5* hotels in Moscow and Russia. A tube TV, a window air conditioner that does not cool, but loudly drives warm air IN SUMMER, a shower cabin and the entire bathroom, which must be entered sideways. In general, if there is an opportunity to check into other hotels in Baikonur, then do it.
PS and if there is no way not to check into it, then ask for a room not with a view of the square. It's very noisy, they drive cheap cars with direct current, people go whooping, and if there's a rehearsal for some concert, then forget about rest and sleep

A hotel with the atmosphere of "Back to the USSR" with an appropriate interior and organization of space. There is a refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer, kinescope TV, and a heater. He returned to his youth. Clean, the staff treats the guests with care.
Sovkovaya hotel. The rooms are cold, it blows through the cracks in the frames, the plumbing is broken, towels are often torn. They take money for accommodation, and checks and bills are issued after a week. There are no kettles in the rooms, and the bottles in the coolers are often empty
The rooms are good The service is good The facilities in the room are comfortable The staff is kind and polite The cleanliness is clean in the rooms everything is cool the hotel is very good 👍👍👍😃
She lived for 10 days while on a business trip. Room without any frills: bed, wardrobe, bedside table, table, chair, TV. The water pressure is good. In principle, just to spend the night is normal, but the price tag..... you can live COMFORTABLY in Moscow for the same amount. The maids are smart, but the reception .... A situation happened: in preparation for departure, I forgot the room key in my shorts, which I had already packed in a suitcase, which I wrapped in film. I didn't want to open it anymore and I went to the reception to pay the cost of the key. It should be noted that the locks in the rooms are magical - they open with almost any key. Well, I think 100-200 rubles is not a pity, I will give it for the key. And then it started ..... they billed as much as 800 rubles! It was too much. She opened the suitcase, took out the key and gave it to me. Well, here are the adventures
A typical abandoned Soviet hotel. Without renovation. With small numbers. But there is a pedestrian zone next to the central square. The local Arbat. Close to the river and the city pool.
CENTRAL!!!! :))) Oooh!!! This place is hard to describe!!! I really want to lower it and smear it, there is something for that, but the emotional part does not allow, because this is the place where time has stopped. Have you been to the perk of the Soviet period? If not, then you are HERE! The special atmosphere of this place makes it a unique monument of that era, the time of the USSR has long passed, but it is preserved in the CENTRAL one, only this time does not spare the walls of this institution, it is impossible to preserve them in their original state. Repairs were made in the CENTRAL one, but it was so cheap and bad that it did not work out to defeat the Soviet spirit. There are cracks in the walls. The san node is such that you can do your business only with the door open (otherwise you won't fit). Accounting documents need to be taken in advance, because if you move out on Saturday morning, for example, they will not be given to you, because the accountant is off :))). Do you feel this order of work of the staff, which has been preserved since that great socialist period? You can write a lot, but I will not scold this place, because it left indelible nostalgic impressions and imprinted in the memory forever. I will give some advice, do not take rooms with a view of the main square of the city, the noise of the "parade ground" (and this place is the parade ground) will not let you rest in peace and quiet, it is better to settle with a view of the courtyard, it will be calmer :))). Cockroaches, and other household reptiles (which are so often written about in reviews about this place) I didn't meet him. Room cleaning is offered constantly when you go out into the corridor, the staff is responsive and friendly, it is clear that people are trying to work conscientiously. So I RECOMMEND it, this is the place that will leave IMPRESSIONS, and this is the most important thing!!! :)))
I have not seen a worse hotel, repairs have not been done since the day of construction, air conditioners are inserted into the window, warm air is blowing loudly.
A small "Soviet" double room. It's simple. Cleanliness is maintained. In general, everything you need is there, except for an electric kettle. But for that kind of money, it just has to be, like a normal TV with a good broadcast signal.
The horror! The photos do not correspond to reality! The hotel is falling apart and the suite is taped through (literally) the balcony door, ventilation, heated towel rail are all taped with ordinary stationery tape.Among the advantages: excellent location, delicious breakfast.
In the rooms for almost five thousand rubles, the decor is greetings from the 90s of the last century (with the exception of a hair dryer, which pleased me) the mattresses are old with protruding springs. Half of the rooms are quite cool. In general, it's normal for a bed when you're at work all day) shower cabins breathe like incense and most importantly, not for people with a complexion of more than 54 sizes.. (70x70 cm). About Suite rooms from 6800 rub. I can't say anything, I haven't seen it.
The room has an old TV, refrigerator, air conditioning/heater, a very uncomfortable bed with a blanket smaller than a duvet cover and a very small pillow, a table, two chairs, an armchair, a bedside table. The furniture is far from new)
Of the big disadvantages: the extractor hood in the combined bathroom unfortunately does not work, as does the heated towel rail. To wash / take a shower with warm water, you have to drain the water for at least 10 minutes…
Payment is in cash only. The room rate is clearly overpriced.
A nightmare! I'll start with the fact that we were passing through, for one night, so we took care in advance, booked a room, the standard is 4800 rubles, one child sleeps with us, the second child was promised that they would give a cot. Miracles began on the spot, they told us you wouldn't fit in, they began offering suites, junior suites, and going to show them. Half of the hotel - the rooms are dirty, they say there was a start-up, 130 people stayed (poor people). As a result, there was nowhere to go in the middle of the night, we stopped. We took 2500 for the reservation!!! They thought there was something there, it was for settling children, it was for a bed, they constantly called the director to clarify, and to charge for this, and for this. As a result, we allegedly paid for a suite of 12800, it turned out that a junior suite with an additional payment for a 50% check-in is more expensive than a suite without an additional payment. I also clarified that there would definitely be no additional payment, the receptionist said yes. So, the Baikonur suite is a shabby room with an attempt to add gloss to it by putting vases with artificial flowers, rolling everything in carpet, hair in the bathroom, lack of hot water, uncomfortable pillows (morning headache), terry toilet cover (this is a SUITE)! After washing in the bathroom of this hotel, you do not feel clean. The state of the city very vividly reflects the state of Russian cosmonautics. And they also proudly say, space city - space prices! In my mind, a space city is a city in which flying cars, robots everywhere, gloss and skyscrapers, but this is not about Baikonur. I will add a review after checking out from the Central hotel. On the night of arrival, we were unable to pay, as there was no terminal in the hotel, although according to the law on consumer protection, the seller must have all payment methods, they allowed us to pay in the morning. In the morning, we were still presented with a bill for settling children, 50%, and the bill increased to 19,000! After much bickering, only 12,800 were paid. Now, if fate throws us back on this road, we will drive past Baikonur crossing ourselves!
The price for accommodation in a middle-class hotel is unreasonably high. Overall, it is clean, quiet, and cozy. The rooms are small, everything you need is available.
Scoop, for a lot of money, single rooms are a claustrophobic fear. My cleaning lady did not fully close the balcony, as a result, it was cold in the room during a snowstorm. One of the advantages is the location, on the central square in the thick of the action
Well, apparently this is a good hotel. And so, of course, it would be necessary to make repairs there. Just for that kind of money, it could be better there. The TV shows poorly, there are interruptions with hot water. Well, what I wanted, it's Baikonur. As it is, everything is fine.
Nice friendly reception staff and location. That's all. There is no hot water, as there are no boilers in the rooms, the city is switching to gas.
For those who came to launch rockets, you can feel the Soviet times of the 60s and 80s. The furniture, beds and towels have not changed since those times. Upon departure, everything will be checked and all three towels will be counted and God forbid you lose one.
They cleaned almost every day, except for the first three days. Well, how they cleaned - they made the bed, the towels were not changed for a week.
Breakfasts are a camp counselor's nightmare. Okay, the serving and the selection are canteen-hospital, but very tasteless.
If you spent a lot of money on a ticket, then the hotel is suitable for the exoticism and atmosphere of Soviet times.
A room for retro lovers. It was as if the time machine had rushed into the 60s. There is even a radio outlet. The TV shows large ripples. But there are also huge advantages. The balconies of half of the rooms overlook the central square. On occasion, you can observe mass events. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant and nostalgic.
What should I say? The time machine was invented and operates on Baikonur (irony). The 3-star hotel, the stinginess of the interior and the window air conditioning are a tribute to the fashion of the past. But how to explain the gushing sewer under the sink?!
Since there is not much choice of hotels in the city, you have to put up with the price of 4,500 per day for a standard room. There is a cooler with hot water in the hall, although coffee can be brewed.
I come here about 1 time a year. Those who miss the Soviet past are probably the best. One of the advantages is a good location, especially if the work is connected with Roscosmos and all the holidays are visible from the balcony, since the central square is in front of it.Among the disadvantages, the rooms are of the same type and the same price, but at the same time they differ significantly in the situation. The air conditioner is a small plane stuck in the window. It seems that up to the 3rd floor everything is more or less, but something starts above. And the most important disadvantage is the PRICE!!!!! Suddenly, in their hotels, the payment is much lower and the conditions are better....By the way, the staff has always been friendly, at least with me.
Weddings, for such money had to wait 15-20 minutes until the water merges and becomes hot, provided that this hotel is located in the steppe! Also wiped towels, mattresses with springs retracting into the sides when sleeping!
And what did you expect from a hotel from the USSR? 8
Have you noticed that you have moved into the past?🤣
It's fine, you can survive a couple of nights.
There will be something to compare it with later)))
Well, this is outright horror. Everything is clean, but seriously? The USSR for the price of a good room? To make you understand, you will get a terrible room from the USSR, a train carriage for 6,000 rubles. How can such a city with astronauts offer such a thing? Shame
A hard mattress, stuffiness in the room, especially if the window is not on the square, unsanitary conditions in the shower, a kettle for an additional fee is generally a laugh, the main air conditioner works only as a fan, you need to turn on the one in the window, but it rattles so much that take earplugs if it is not possible to live in another hotel, otherwise you will not fall asleep. However, there is shampoo, gel and tual paper, and it was cleaned 2 times in 5 nights. do not be fooled by the type of "cool back to the Soviet past", keep in mind that it is everywhere there and outside the hotel room and in the steppe and a normal hotel can become the only place to relax, but this is not about the central one.

We were at the launch of the Soyuz MS 22, lived for almost a week in a suite on the 3rd floor. Upon arrival, we expected the worst, having read the reviews, but I can't say that as a result there is something to complain about. The bed is large, the mattress is solid, not sagging, comfortable, the linen is good white, as in normal hotels. The air conditioning was on, the water was hot too, the pressure was excellent, even when we all went to the hotel at the same time in the evenings after the cosmodrome. There are a sufficient number of lighting devices, including nightlights, you can not turn on the overhead light and in general it is even cozy ... TV, refrigerator, dishes, kettle, two balconies ... we did not see cockroaches, the staff is friendly. Of the minuses, the elevator did not always work and they say the kitchen is to hell with it. But since the hotel is located in the very center and adjacent to the pedestrian "Arbat", there were no problems with where to eat at all (by the way, we highly recommend the cafe "Starry Sky"). Another plus is the post office at the end of the hotel, from where you can send themed postcards to your family and friends.
