A Soviet-era hotel! Anyone who wants to fully experience the atmosphere of the time of the USSR is welcome here. It's even interesting - the hotel is like a portal to the past-furniture, lamps, bathrooms, breakfasts - everything is from there. We knew where we were going, it didn't bother us. The room is clean, the bed linen, towels are all clean. View from the balcony to the square and the monument to Lenin. Near the Arbat, there are many cafes, they accept payment with Russian cards. Turn on the backlight in the evening.
A very very Soviet hotel, the room stock has not changed since Soviet times. I put 4 for a working air conditioner in the room, cleaning seems to be carried out in the rooms, but not quite conscientiously, the floor does not seem to be washed at all, even if it has just been re-settled. There is no water in the rooms, only a cooler on the floor, only gel and shampoo from the bathroom accessories, no toothpaste or shaving accessories, there is a working refrigerator, sometimes a towel with a hole can get caught, by the way, neither the bed nor the towel have been changed for 5 days, but if the light bulb burns out or some other moments, then in principle they solve these issues promptly. Considering that you will only sleep in the hotel, then in principle it is suitable for sleeping, but not for relaxing
An ordinary old Soviet hotel, old rooms with old furniture, a small combined shower room, a window conditioner in the rooms. But they clean it up quite cleanly every day. The staff is calm and polite. Breakfasts at the hotel are also in the Soviet style, porridge, egg, cheese, sausage. If you want to plunge into the USSR, this is the place where the epoch is felt. The location in the center is near the local Arbat, where there are several restaurants where food is normally served.
