A very interesting exposition reflecting the culture and traditions of the Polesie region. Guides not only talk about traditions, but also conduct workshops on crafts.
A very interesting place that transforms you into everyday life at the beginning of the last century. A picturesque place and colorful corners. Everything is done with love and great taste.
The center contains authentic items from the surrounding residents: clothes for weekdays and holidays, objects of labor and everyday life, ceramics, flax processing and weaving, products woven from vines and bast. Much of this has already been forgotten or half-forgotten by current generations. Such a collection is interesting for understanding local traditions and ancestral life.
I would especially like to wish further success to the young guides, they were very welcoming :)
It would seem that the household items of the inhabitants of Polesie are simply collected, but this museum has left only positive emotions about itself. Each item is signed: the name, from which village and to whom it belonged. The expositions are presented as a hut, a courtyard, rooms with dishes, clothes, fishing gear, etc. I highly recommend it to those who are interested in the life of "people in the swamp".
