Very good hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day, the food is very good, not greasy and not sweet, just normal... and we had a great rest. The sea is the cleanest.

It so happened that we always fly to Egypt for a vacation in winter) we like the climate - it's warm, but not hot, the Red Sea is 24-25. But, of course, there is a wind... We spent the beginning of December in the suburbs of Dahab at the Tropitel Oasis Hotel. Wonderful impressions! Firstly, it's cozy, a small but very green area with beautiful evening lighting, large rooms (we lived in 152 on the 1st floor!) with a balcony, which has everything you need (kettle and cups, hairdryer, TV, mini fridge, conditioner, shampoo, gel, soap). The beach itself is sandy, but you can only enter the sea through a pontoon... And there is a beautiful "home" reef with a variety of corals, fish, and shellfish - the depth is small and the visibility is excellent! You can take a dip in the swimming pool, which is heated in winter. About food - the kitchen works great - it's varied and delicious! Every day there is a change of main dishes, there are quite a lot of them for the Egyptian version, all the pastries look fresh and beautiful, the vegetables are juicy, and the grilled vegetables are generally super. Special thanks for your favorite fresh dates!! We had breakfast and dinner included - so with such a meal, "lunch" would have been superfluous for us))) The hotel is very hospitable, there is a Russian-speaking manager at the reception, and there is a Fuddy in the store. By the way, he will help you with excursions. Reliable and, of course, cheaper than tour operator guides. We went to Napoleon Reef on a huge boat (Nirvana) and there were only 8 of us!) Dahab is 6 km away, and a minivan runs according to the schedule. You can probably walk, but the road is so-so - dusty, there are a lot of cars going to the "blue hole" with divers. In general, there is only the beach and mountains around the hotel, this "hole" is about 3 km away, and so - to take a walk, go to a shop or cafe - only in Dahab. And yet - we loved the hotel for its silence and regularity, there is no "booing" and shouting, for a really calm atmosphere! We'll definitely come back here. Thanks!

We have been staying at the hotel for one week since January 14th. I gave it four stars, but they were firm and confident) I'll explain why now. In general, I really liked the rest and gave me great relaxation, helped to turn off my brain from all problems at least for a while) What we didn't really like was the room itself because of their concrete beds and very very hard mattresses, it wasn't easy to relax on them. In general, the room itself was not bad, there was everything you needed, water and cleaning were offered every day, they cleaned quite well, created a mood with flowers and swans from towels) They always left coffee and teas, which is very good. The room had access to a charming garden, mega well-groomed and green, with stunning trees and flowers, it was a thrill. But here's another disadvantage - there are a lot of dogs on the territory of the hotel, and they were there almost every night, howling and barking, not letting me sleep. I had to drive them on my own or feed them to calm them down, for some reason the hotel does not follow this. The territory is excellent, gorgeous palm trees, green lawns, a milky pool, swings, lots of sun beds, a very beautiful coral reef, but again, the disadvantage is the constant wind, which does not stop in principle. This is Egypt's problem in winter, but above all, keep in mind that the hotel is not located on the shore of the open sea, but on the Gulf of Aqaba, Saudi Arabia is visible on the other shore, and since the strait is narrow and with mountains, it is windy there almost all year round, a kind of draft) And unfortunately, it was not possible to swim and see the fish in a human way, the sea was restless for all six days. Very warm, though. These are the moments. We've already written a lot about nutrition, it's excellent. The staff was extremely attentive, but no one spoke Russian in front of us. English only. Dahab is nearby, you can walk there, and there are windless bays. In general, I recommend the hotel, considering all the points, it is an excellent choice for its price, the bosses and staff "take care not only of their own interests, but also of the interests of others" (The Bible). If it weren't for such a wind, I would have returned there. I think it's only in winter.

A gorgeous place, it remains almost the only working hotel on the coast, which provides peace and privacy. Beautiful and cozy buildings, some of the staff are Russian-speaking, sooooo delicious food, stunning reefs, an excellent pool, massage in their spa center and on the seashore is just space. There is animation (including yoga and stretching by the sea). Just the best vacation of my life

An excellent hotel for lovers of diving, freediving, snorkeling, underwater photography. A quiet, relaxing holiday.
The coral reef begins at the entrance to the water, descending only from the pier and immediately to the depth.
The hotel staff is friendly, really trying to create comfort, the rooms are clean, they don't take tips, there are smiles all around. The owner is constantly on the territory, managers approach vacationers, they are interested in whether everything suits them. AI food, varied, guava season in November!
A 10-minute drive by quadric, the Blue Hole karst underwater cave (pilgrimage of divers).
I recommend it, except for families with children and pensioners with sores: entering the water only from the pier, there are dangerous fish (krylatka, moray eels), big waves, there is no children's animation, there is no children's menu, entertainment is only diving and hours-long trips to the desert.
The safe is only at the reception, but there is no theft, divers and so on are a special caste and a friendly family🤿

I really liked it. Friendly staff, starting at the reception, continuing with the restaurant and ending with room cleaning. A small well-groomed territory, always free places on the beach, a beautiful reef, to the left, to the right. The owner of the shop at the hotel was very helpful with excursions, money change and consultations. I liked the trip to Dahab. I recommend it for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts!

I really liked the hotel for its hospitality, location, beautiful, well-groomed territory and of course a fantastic reef. Wonderful snorkeling. There are many winglets, stingrays, large octopuses, moray eels and turtles. True, the place is windy, but unlike Charm, you will not be driven away from the water even if there is a black flag. And there are no territorial restrictions on swimming at all.

It is quite a good hotel, especially if you go to Dahab for diving in the company of those who do not dive. The food is not very varied but delicious. The staff is polite and always ready to help with minor issues. Swim only from the pier, the beach is small. We were in the early days of November in the pool, the water is cool, it is not comfortable to swim, and the heating was turned on by the weekend when there were more local vacationers, of course, it just so happened. It is convenient that the bluehall and canyon dive sites are almost nearby. The canyon is a 3-minute walk away.

A cozy little hotel. Entrance to the sea from the bridge. The territory is well maintained. A very beautiful home reef. Own diving center. Transfer to the city. Nearby "Blue Hole" is a must for those who love diving and snorkeling. There is a micro gym. Spa with sauna.
Of the disadvantages, they gave water once, it turned out that it was no longer allowed.

We were at this hotel in October 2023. This is the second time. The hotel is normal for 4 stars. Calm, well-groomed, green. A real oasis in this place. Nearby hotels are in poor condition...My husband and I really like that it's not noisy, no one imposes excursions...everything is focused on relaxation...Strong wind always! We didn't stay hungry, we saw enough fish, we walked in the mountain gorge...My husband is after surgery, so it is important that it is quiet, clean, satisfying and positive. We are satisfied! Thanks to all the hotel staff. They're all cool!!! We will definitely come for the third time!

Just returned from a vacation at this hotel (end of November). The hotel is nice, clean, tidy, calm. The food is high-quality and delicious. It is clear that the staff is trying to be at the level and even above the 4th grade. The hotel took a quad bike tour to Blue Hall and the canyon, I liked it! A special advantage of the hotel is a heated swimming pool! Shuttles run to the city of Dahab 4 times a day.The entrance to the sea is from the pier, there are fish.Recommend.

A stunning hotel in a quiet location. There are no city lights, a beautiful starry sky, silence. They cook wonderfully. Polite, helpful staff. All rooms have mountain and sea views. Purity. Cosiness. And most importantly, a huge live coral with a bunch of different animals, octopuses, stingrays, jellyfish, amazing lionfish and schools of fish. There is a city 10 km from the hotel, the bus goes there for free from the hotel several times a day. And in the city you can buy anything your heart desires, especially local alcohol, in particular excellent Egyptian wine. As well as locally made warm clothes made of cotton and camel wool. An amazing place, unlike the rest of Egypt.

I liked the hotel.the size of the territory and the pool is 3+, the rest is 4. The peculiarity of the hotel is the furniture filled with concrete.bed pedestals, tables and bedside tables.we lived on the 1st floor in the right wing (if you look towards the road) in the back room.2 beds are wide enough with orthopedic mattresses. There was a terrace.the shadow side.the hotel also has rooms with a sunny side, without balconies, overlooking the road and mountains, with narrow beds and a liquid mattress. In the sense of subtle. These numbers are offered at the beginning, then it is in your power to agree on a better option. Alyonka's chocolate works wonders. The beds in almost all rooms are concrete and therefore not movable.the room is not new, but everything worked and was clean.cleaning every day.a teapot and tea set were present.there was a fumigator with liquid.The safe is free at the reception. A bus shuttle runs to the center 4 times a day. We went for freshly squeezed and frozen juices and mangoes.The hotel is extreme .silence.There is a Blue hall nearby.very well maintained and green area.the pool is small, but the heating has been turned on since November 20th. The sea is always stormy and strong winds. Entrance is only from the pontoon.It is not suitable for children and non-swimmers. Underwater sites for snorkeling and diving are ideal.after an hour and a half of being in the water, it gets cold.I think a wetsuit will help. The water is very salty and holds perfectly.it is impossible to drown at all. This is the first time in Dahab and, unlike Charm and Hurghada, it is a very quiet, peaceful place.for couples without children looking for privacy.the beach is big and clean.there are plenty of free sun beds, as well as by the pool. During the 3 weeks of our stay, there was only one big weekend check-in by locals. When choosing a vacation destination, the proximity to Israel was also considered. There is a pedestrian border in Taba. We reached the high Taba on the Go Bass, then 25 km to the border on it for Baksheesh. Keep in mind that when leaving Egypt, you pay a fee of about 15 bounts, as well as at the entrance of 400 from the nose. In Israel, only at the exit, but an impressive amount, either 120 or 200 shekels. It was the first hotel in Egypt, there is nothing to compare it with. In general, I really liked it, the reef is wonderful, a lot of fish, we saw a stingray, a stone fish and a couple dozen more inhabitants of the underwater world. The water is clear.There is a convenient pier. The food is varied and delicious. The area is clean and very well maintained. If you do not go outside the hotel, then you are really in an oasis. There is darkness and dirt outside the hotel. The rooms are tired but not critical. The main feature of the hotel is the silence and the absence of children. There are a lot of mosquitoes, take repellents. There were waves, but they did not interfere with "snorkeling". It's a long drive to the hotel. In short, this is not a VIP deluxe luxury place, but just a nice quiet hotel.

In general, in order. Just from vacation :)
Let's start with the cons:
- the old one is inside, there is not enough repair. The rooms are like 30 years ago
- not all staff are friendly
- for the elderly and married couples, there is nowhere to "hang out", listening to music with friends loudly did not work either
- the breakfasts are not very tasty, the food is often spicy
- the beach is rocky with reefs, you can swim only from the pier
- often waves and strong winds
Well, now the pros:

The price/quality ratio is very good.

If you really want to relax, so that you are left alone and you do not have to worry about your comfort (except for SPA and other additional procedures), then this place is worthy of spending time.
Cuisine - the choice is not great, but the quality and taste of the dishes will not make you look for a restaurant for additional meals.
The beach and the pool - there are always free sun loungers, you can hide from the sun at any time of the day.
Access to the sea is via a pontoon (bridge), the descent is safe. Right at the entrance to the sea you will be greeted by fish, a variety of benthos. In the late afternoon, be careful, lionfish swim close to the bottom.
The location of the hotel is secluded, but there is a shuttle bus to Dahab four times a day.
You can walk to the Blue Hole, you can take a taxi for a couple of dollars, you can ride an ATV. If the forces allow, then swim against the wind and current. In general, the advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the diving canyon, the Blue Hole and similar underwater viewing platforms.
The beer is delicious, bottled. The wine is not bad. Other alcohol is bottled for AI hotels, for an additional fee you can get a glass of a normal imported drink.
The staff is polite, they will always help and tell you.
Bed bugs may live in some rooms, so before you sleep, ask to sprinkle with dichlorophos, the staff has it. However, bedbugs are not a common problem of the hotel, so it would be wrong to accept this fact as decisive for refusing a trip to this place, since this is the best hotel in the area.
The hotel is a strong foursome. I'll give you a solid five.

The cunning guys at the reception bought a room with a view of the bay. 4 times they tried to cram me in, well, it's just not that, the rooms are spacious, but the showers there are no bottom without domestos and slates.
The buffet restaurant (I went in) had a choice, although I wanted more seafood. The access to the sea is just a bomb. I walked to Dahab and bought fruits and bottled water. With water there, the rams are right in the hotel, it's too expensive. There is a free bus service from the hotel to Dahab. There is diving on site, access to the sea from the pier, a lot of fish 😃
