The square was created relatively recently. It was a good idea to immortalize historical characters in busts, in one way or another, who influenced the emergence of Tiraspol about three hundred years ago.
If only the organizers of the square could limit themselves to this. Somehow, out of place, it seems to me, they put busts of our contemporaries who died a couple of decades ago.
And besides, for some reason, right in the middle of the square, a huge pedestal called "Catherine II" was installed. No beauty, no grace.
As it is, nothing. It's nice to take a walk, sit on a bench and look at the river.
