We stayed in Vitebsk for one day. We enjoyed walking around the surroundings of the monument "Three Bayonets". A good place for family walks.
There are fountains on the square. They randomly turn on, change the water pressure and turn off. The kids ran among them. Children's laughter and hubbub stood like in the pools of resort hotels.
There is an exhibition of military equipment nearby. My boy climbed it for a long time and refused to leave it.
There is also a Ferris wheel. We took a ride.
There is also an alley of fame dedicated to the events and heroes of the war. We were surprised by the huge screens at the end of the alley. Soviet films were shown on them. There are rows of chairs in front of the screens. This turned out to be an open-air cinema. And there were quite a lot of people in it. And the age of the audience was especially surprised: both old and young, and teenagers, and older youth are sitting watching.
There is a good view behind the screens and the monument.
In general, the place seemed peaceful, conducive to leisurely walks and gatherings.
Everything is very cool, the store of my childhood (although there were 3 of them ) but right now it's great, even though foreigners work there, but they understand Russian as their native language, good staff, the conversation winds up on its own, it's just a pity that the seller of "Sunny" is generally good
A big plus is that you can relax on the square with your whole family and friends. There is also our sad memory and a Ferris wheel and carousels and cafes closer to the river. All for different moods.
Monumental , the very center of the city. Over time, this place gets prettier, as does the whole city. If only gn. Kosinets has not yet demolished the beautiful, unique park opposite!!
Vitebsk, you are forever in my heart! I want to come back to this city again and again! Victory Square and the Three Bayonets Memorial complex are special unforgettable places, it is the sorrow of the entire Belarusian people! I advise everyone who has not been to the city of Vitebsk to definitely visit it!
A magnificent monument. There is a beautiful view of the river. Nearby is an exhibition of military equipment and a Ferris wheel (you can look at the monument from a height)
Good afternoon🍂
Everyone's life is a feat touched by the war! Everyone's feat is immortal! Everything on this memorial complex symbolizes iron will and the desire to win!
It's a beautiful place, but it's not exactly been updated. But everything remains exactly the center of the city and the most noticeable place.

Three Bayonets, ... The symbol of Vitebsk, a beautiful view of the Northern Dvina, an amusement park nearby, an open-air museum of military equipment, access to the embankment and a summer cafe area... Plus a huge square next to cafes and shops around the perimeter. I was there and didn 't regret it ... I liked everything!
A beautiful and spectacular sculptural composition. Evokes a response in the soul.
The fountain complex attracts children and adults, mainly in summer and in the warm season. But even in winter people walk. It would be possible to install some information materials (for small children who walk here with their parents).
An important cultural place that can help you immerse yourself in the history of Vitebsk. The territory is always cleaned, fountains work in the summer. There are many different cafes and an amusement park nearby. A good place to relax, allowing you to combine business with pleasure
An iconic place! You can feel the strength, power, and greatness of the monument to the glory of the Soviet soldier! The largest square is not only in Vitebsk, but even in the whole of Belarus, nearby is Victory Park with military equipment and attractions..When I visit Vitebsk, I certainly come to Victory Square every time. I recommend everyone to visit this iconic place!
Vitebsk is the very center where you can see the historical part of the city, but the central monument is of course three bayonets, visible from any part of the city...
Having studied the sights of Vitebsk in advance, we definitely wanted to visit the Three Bayonets Memorial, which coincided with Defender of the Fatherland Day on February 23.
The monumental complex in memory of the Soldiers did not leave us indifferent.
It is impossible not to say about this memorial complex. This is the main pride of Vitebsk and Belarus as a whole .The memory of the Great Patriotic War reminds everyone every day who passes by the memorial or approaches the Eternal Flame! No one is forgotten!Nothing is forgotten.Eternal memory to our defenders of the Fatherland, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers who stood up for the defense of Vitebsk, for the defense of their Homeland! Remember! In centuries, in years, remember those who will never return! Remember! Don't cry!Hold back the moans in your throat!Bitter moans!Be worthy of the memory of the fallen!Eternally worthy!(P.Christmas)
It 's a cool place to take a walk and has a strong great history behind it, which is great for excursions too!🥰 And depending on what the park is nearby , it embellishes the place even more
A gorgeous monument, public holidays and events are held near it, such as the oath of the Airborne Troops, a tourist attraction.
(Minus: schoolchildren hang out right under the monument and next to it, they create all sorts of game)
The musical accompaniment under the dome of the three bayonets was completely immersed in those difficult war years, to the point of goosebumps. A stunning memorial , part of the history that we are sure to pass on to a new generation .
A worthy monument to our heroic ancestors who liberated our country and the whole of Europe from the Nazis. There is also a good panoramic view from the memorial.
The place is historical, which makes great sense both for the past generation and for the future. Personally, my opinion is that it is simply necessary to carry out a major reconstruction. I want something to take my breath away from what I saw, to feel the full power and greatness of the force that was able to go through that "hell". So far there is no such feeling, but it is perceived by many as the beginning of the park ... alas
Three bayonets denoting the friendship of three peoples.... Three soldiers. Ukrainian, Belarusian, Russian. During the Second World War, three nations suffered greatly. Well, there are also fountains nearby.
The main memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the Great Patriotic War, with eternal flame and fountains, such places, eternal memory, well, this is the cent of the city with zero killometer
I walk there often, it's clean all year round, I like when flowers are planted there that give this place a special decor, it's very nice to relax there.
We can say that this is one of the main beauties of this city , it is located in the center and also with a great view , if you are looking for a place to take photos or relax , I recommend it
A good place, a great park, a big minus is that the cafe is average lousy with junk food anywhere, but there is no place where you can come with your wife and child to eat a delicious dish.
How can you ask about such places?
A place of sorrow and sorrow, a place of memory, a place where you realize all the heroism of the Soviet interethnic people.
A beautiful memorable place. Returns back to the USSR. In our victory over the damned Nazis. I definitely recommend you to visit. Located near the center.
An iconic place for the city, you can feel the scale and grandeur. There are many good panoramic views of the river and the city. Nearby there is an area with samples of military equipment and an area for walking and recreation with attractions for children and adults.
The monument is magnificent. Epic. But a pathetic couple of flashlights don't even light up on weekends.
In the park, the dead woman is simply terrible.
It's a very strong contrast when you come from another memorial in another town and it's great there.
Banal mismanagement and vandalism of vacationers.
It's a shame about that.
When you come to Victory Square, you begin to appreciate life more.It was difficult, but they coped without thinking about themselves. The main thing is to defeat the enemy and continue to live. We, the ancestors of the departed, the young, the old, those who fought, on the fronts, in the rear, simply have to remember them, not only on May 9, but more often.Thank you for the PEACE.
A great park for walking. Attractions, ice cream for children, military equipment for adults. There is a bridge next to the park, from which there is a great view of the panorama of the city.
